Also, if somebody wants to report them to the SEC Cyber Enforcement division, who just shut down another ICO scam, the link is here:

https://denebleo.sec.gov/TCRExternal/disclaimer.xhtml

In fact I encourage all of you to report this, the more complaints submitted the more attention this will receive.

It is definitely, 100% a scam.

I wrote an article aggregating a lot of known information about the project which should be helpful to anyone trying to catch them, including "team members," screenshots of their now defunct Twitter and contract addresses.

You can read it here: https://steemit.com/magos/@nighthawk888/the-million-dollar-magos-io-and-aio-network-scam

All somebody really has to do is contact Facebook, Twitter, Medium, and all the places they published to trace their steps.

Has anyone tried notifying the appropriate cyber crime authorities? They stole over a million dollars worth in Ether and I imagine would be a high priority target. All anyone has to do to catch them is go to Twitter, Facebook, Medium, Slack, their web hosts and follow the digital traces. All the funds are traceable on the blockchain too.

Also anyone interested in creating a discord to pool resources to catch these guys?

Update on my situation - I was personally messaged by the team on telegram with an apology by 2 different team members and have been able to rejoin the Telegram community. One message appears below:

"Mr NightHawk
We apologie for our moderator's behavior we were unaware he was deleting and banning users for no good reason.
We care about honest and constructive opinion it helps use decided how  we can change our porject for the better.
We hope you will continue to be active in our community and provide challenging questions and insight.
Thank you for your support looking forward to hearing more from you in the days to come."

As the apologies appear sincere I accept them, but we as a community must continue to be vigilant, and any attempts at censorship must be reported. Hopefully this will not happen again as it seems the moderator has been instructed not to do this.

I also remember it being around 1530 Eth. You can see original contract address at 0x80fd353b8C7Cc6FE4C8c582251f132C44643E05f

Yep, just cheked, 1538,26 in 409 transactions. 50% of amount was raised in 13 biggest transactions.
The biggest one 147,47 Eth.
Info from open sources.

UPD: Info for 0x80fd353b8C7Cc6FE4C8c582251f132C44643E05f. But as i didn't participate in original ICO - dunno whether this contract adress correct or not.

As I participated in the original ICO, this was my contract address, but I think you are able to verify for yourself by checking the token distribution from the contract and seeing that it corresponds to "UmbrellaCoin" in etherscan.io.

Why you didnt answer to my question??
How much tokens in total they have? I seen 69 mln, but all tokens sold??
How much money they raised?

I was just immediately kicked out of the UMC Telegram group without reason or warning by the mod for voicing my disagreement with their new bonus structure. This is incredibly inappropriate for a team to do to an early angel investor. UmbrellaCoin Mod, if this is a policy for your mod team, don't even think about deleting this post here because I will make a new thread and write about it on my Steem. It's already saved to my hard drive so super easy for me to do. You should have allowed a discussion instead of auto-banning dissent.

The community should know that any voiced criticism of the team is being deleted immediately on their Telegram group. People on the telegram group are wondering if there is something wrong with the app that messages are being deleted, but the truth is that we are being censored. I do not appreciate this, nor does the community. Some members of the community were voicing their agreement with me, which makes it all the more inappropriate to ban me in an attempt to silence dissent.

The bonus structure has changed with this new ICO, and these are different terms than we invested with at first. Early investors were promised a 100% bonus over other investors, which we were all entitled to receive when the smart contract ended. Our original coins were doubled for all the problems the team had, but now we find these new investment terms with tiers of 400% and 300% bonuses offered. In effect, there is no bonus for those that invested originally compared to the 400% tier, and decreased bonus than originally promised compared to the 300% tier. This amounts to dilution of the early investors. The team did this simply because there were not many people investing at first, and they want to attract more funds. They did not even ask the community for our opinion when they changed the investment terms.

Hey, everyone!

This is has been a crazy month for us here at Umbrella Coin. Our last month had few ups and downs, the major being the transition of the new team from previous team and subsequently the loss of a great development team. Today we’re pleased to announce after discussions with few aspirants, we’ve hired a new developer towards our project. The new developer is a research scientist at Virginia Tech and has worked on lots of projects as a hobby and commercially. In the last few days, he has worked on the product to add support for UI for uploading documentation for claims as well as support for integration of UMC wallet with user accounts. Right now, mostly efforts have been made on UI development side and we will continue to work to add functionality to the buttons and integrate them with smart contracts.

On another note, we have revamped and relaunched our smart contract to give a greater bonus to our investors. As of now, we have compensated all previous investors with a doubling of your initial investments. We have also developed a new reward tier system for the remainder of this sale. The news tiers will be as follows:

1st Tier: 350 ETH – we will give a 4x bonus (2400 UMC/ETH)
2nd Tier: 351-1000 ETH – we will give a 3x bonus (1800 UMC/ETH)
3rd Tier: 1001-1950 ETH – we will give a 2x bonus (1200 UMC/ETH)
4th Tier: 1951-4000 ETH – we will give a 1.5x bonus (900 UMC/ETH)
4001 EtH and after will receive 600 UMC/ETH as normal

You can join our crowdfund by going to https://www.umbrellacoin.org/crowdfund/
Remember, we will not and do not post our contract address anywhere other than the site. If you see it anywhere else, it may be an attempt to trick you.

On a last note, I would like remind everyone that our #getyourumbrellasout picture contest is still running to the end of the crowdsale! Don’t forget to submit those pictures, because the ones we have gotten so far have been great! For more info on this contest visit: https://www.umbrellacoin.org/umbrella-coin-photo-contest/

We can’t even begin to express our appreciation for the support that our amazing community has provided us over these past months. We would like to thank everyone involved for helping us make this project as successful as it has been. Together, we will make rainy days bright again.

Here is a blogpost ab out it: https://medium.com/tenx-wallet/three-technical-requirements-to-connect-blockchains-without-a-token-98d693084849
And here a 1hr youtube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w8e2ke8U5eE

Answers:
1. How are you associated with the COMIT network project?
COMIT is open source but we at TenX are the first ones to work on it.

2. Regarding the COMIT network, will people be able to exchange currencies on their phone app? Will this be without fee and will the COMIT network be monetized in any way besides the TenX debit card?
Yes, this should be possible. The fee will be set by the individuals providing the exchange - since it is competitive we expect close to nil fees.

3. Are you planning on building a desktop decentralized exchange based on the COMIT network, or are there any plans to do so by anyone else that the community knows of?
both - open to do it ourselves or work with others.

4. Will any other project utilize the COMIT network for decentralized exchange or just the TenX debit card?
Definitely.

5. How will your TenX card based on the COMIT network compete with the Bancor, Cosmos, Polkadot, Internet of Coins projects? Why should we invest in your project and not wait for the next debit card based on these upcoming decentralized protocols?
All these projects are awesome, but actually can work with us. There is no either or.

6. If there is a superior decentralized exchange protocol in the future, one that can incorporate cross blockchain smart contracts for example, how can the COMIT network evolve?
Since it is open source, let's see where this goes.

Hope that helps. Pls watch the video and/or read the article I wrote. Thanx

Thank you Playgrounder for your thoughtful response. It definitely helps and I have read the article and watched the video. Two follow up questions:

1. As far as I can tell from your business model, the value of the PAY token to investors is dependent on people using your debit card to pay merchants with crypto. I am somewhat confused about your plan to spend a lot of money on developing routing and providing liquidity to the COMIT network. I understand how improving the COMIT network would decrease costs of using the card, even making the card more useful. Yet if the COMIT network is open source, a rival could simply open up their own debit card after you have developed the COMIT network, offer greater incentives to users, and people would use that platform. How do you plan to mitigate this threat?

2. In the video, it says that all payments through the COMIT network will go through TenX. It even says if that one day the debit card is not needed, payments to PAY token holders would still occur, but at a lower commission (0.05% instead of 0.5%), because PAY token holders would be paid a percentage of the COMIT transactions which are expected to have very low fees. I am still unclear about how we would be paid a percentage of COMIT transactions in that case if COMIT is open source. If it is open source, other companies can offer services such as decentralized exchanges on it, and customers wouldn't necessarily have to go through TenX. Why would people use TenX if there was no need for a debit card?

Thank you again for your thoughts and I look forward to your response.

Hi,

I have interest in the TenX project and I think it has a lot of potential. A few questions:

1. How are you associated with the COMIT network project?
2. Regarding the COMIT network, will people be able to exchange currencies on their phone app? Will this be without fee and will the COMIT network be monetized in any way besides the TenX debit card?
3. Are you planning on building a desktop decentralized exchange based on the COMIT network, or are there any plans to do so by anyone else that the community knows of?

6. If there is a superior decentralized exchange protocol in the future, one that can incorporate cross blockchain smart contracts for example, how can the COMIT network evolve?

My apologies if some of these questions don't make sense as I am not intimately familiar with the technicalities but I would appreciate if TenX could answer to the best of their ability. Thank you for your time.

You can find a lot of answers to your questions on TenX youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/tenxwallet

(all videos @ https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCrh49JX-9UQJbee6e4EGhog/videos ) Wink

Thank you for your reply. I checked out the channel, there is hours and hours of video which I have started looking through, including the update today. But it would be impossible to go through all the videos to find the answers to these questions, and I haven't seen the answers on this thread. Could someone kindly take the time to answer these questions? Thank you

Edit: By my first question, I mean, does TenX own the COMIT project? Or can anyone offer a debit card and services using the COMIT project?

Playgrounder, I think you would be the best one to answer these questions as a representative of the project. Thank you in advance.

Hello Guys,

If we are logic, so data projection provided by TENX look a bit strange.
In accordance with TENX white paper page 35 ( Month road map):
They believe to have +50M USERS en 2020.
In fact We are a around 7 Billions people on the planet.
So by a simple calcul If you divise 7billions per 50M users : 140. So that's mean every 140 persons 1 person will use TENX service payment in 2020.
Serioulsly.. Do you really think 1 second it's possible..?? Unfortunatly my answser is NO! even 5 Millions users in 2020 will be difficult to reach.
I would like to know how TENX can have these data projection?? It is look like unrealistic..
Again I love this project, but clearly something is wrong here..

Thanx for your analysis. Just because it looks unrealistic to you, does not mean it is unrealistic for us. We strongly believe that crypto will explode in popularity in general and so 50m users will be within reach over the next 5 years. While I respect your opinion, I have learned to never let someone with small thinking keep me from thinking big. So, let's see who will be right :-)

Thank You for your prompt answer  Smiley much appreciated.
First, sorry for my english, I know it is not perfect but I hope you will understand my point of view.

Because your are smart guys, you should admit that people need to understand what data make you strongly believe that crypto will explode and you get 1 tenx users every 140 persons on this planet over the next 5 years. As you know, some people can invest big money on your project but we need more explanation than "I have learned to never let someone with small thinking keep me from thinking big. So, let's see who will be right :-)  ".
Your team look very good! But at some point,Like in every buisness, small or big investors need factual arguments investment perspective to calculate the risk of their investments.

My second question is how long time token holders receive an incentive of 0.5% of the entire payment volume on the TenX payment
platform?

My third question is what is the total number of TeNX token?

Thank you again for your cooperation.

I believe that with 20 million tokens sold representing 51% of total, the total tokens is close to 40 million.
