Bitcoin is not a bubble ... Bitcoin, it's people. With real money and that, it's new for all.
Reach 10k$ before the end of 2017.
How can that be?? I am amazed! 100k users in a day? IN-FUCKING-SANE!
I think it was actually a 48-hour period not 24. Also, Zerohedge puts out a lot of bullshit and I have never once seen a retraction. Then there is the word 'trader' being used for every person who signs up. The number of users who ever buy or sell anything is unknown.
Okay so it's not as sensational as it sounds at first but it still is further evidence that exponential growth is happening.
an update to who is interested.. today i opened poloniex and i not longer see the deposit Temporarily Disabled like the last period. BUT when i press the deposit button after i get Generating... and stays there...it's now like that for more than 10 minutes... i tried refresh, restart pc, different browser... the same... the trollbox is gone the the moderators are doing ticket support work so i will not bother to ask and wait in line... if someone knows something i will be happy to know also for this
Interesting. I tried this and it seems to be working fine. When I press deposit for XMR it instantly displays the deposit address.
Well those two are a couple of complete retards. It was nice to see the tip of the hat to monero (cloak??? WTF) and that may get the fringe lunies in and thats a good thing for them as it will give them the privy they desire (all the hate groups and home grown ...) and it should help XMR grow but those are the last fuckers I want to see in these threads and it will only make TPTB more concerned about XMR so it is a double edged sword. At least the Tard admitted he is giving Crypto advice now because he was a horrible Silver forecaster.
I hope he's just as bad at forecasting the weather -- he says an ice age is coming!
i find the lack of choo choo memes as we are about to cross $2k really interesting. Are we all so scarred from the past 3 years that we no longer have high expectations and are happy just to quietly enjoy the ride? I ask because that is my current mindset - it really wouldn't bother me if we dropped $500 or shot up another $500.
$2k is just too big a milestone to risk jinxing with a choo choo.
I also recently have a 11+ BTC withdrawal with a fake transaction ID. My other smaller withdrawals went through fine. i'm guessing a larger withdrawal is causing delay.
EDIT: I have received the coins finally, about 12 hours later
The Bitcoin blockchain is clogged up right now. Over 200,000 unconfirmed transactions according to Blockchain info ATM. https://blockchain.info/unconfirmed-transactions. You are lucky your transaction only took 12 hours. I am waiting for a withdraw from another exchange that I did 24 hours ago and am still waiting. Can't speed it up with ViaBTC transaction accelerator because they are full. If you want to make any moves in the near future, you may want to try converting your funds to Litecoin and move them instead.
@bones261 Is it the case that alt withdrawals are proceeding normally and the problem is solely with bitcoin? Are litecoin withdrawals any faster than other alts?
. . . Seems as though once an account has been flagged for this kind of harassment it continues indefinitely and effectively their accounts will permanently have to endure their painfully slow manual withdrawal method instead of the automated withdrawal method which is the default. . . .
The bolded bit - that's down to normal security precautions. If you have been messing around using VPN's and whatnot, they HAVE to put in delays because they have no idea whether the next time there is going to be a genuine problem, and guess what, if there is, they'll be the ones blamed.
If you don't like Poloniex, use another exchange!!! There are loads of other exchanges out there, pick one, stop all piling into Polo and then moaning.
This is interesting since there's no mention of any restrictions on using VPNs in the Terms of Service. If they don't want people using VPNs then they simply need to make that clear up front.

Monero is #2 in volume today on coinmarketcap.com Second only to Bitcoin in volume. (Monero 24hr volume = $10,682,800)
Sheesh, how is this possible with so few exchanges trading Monero?
The issue has been resolved and I received the right amount of BTC. A concrete reason of why it took so long has not been given.
It's good to see this eventually resolved. How long did it take to receive the funds from the time you submitted the withdrawal? There is still nothing on the withdrawal form saying that more than 1 BTC takes longer to withdraw. Is it 1 BTC per day or 1 BTC per withdrawal? ( maybe 1 BTC per month, who knows? )
