Windows 10. Also I don't like the idea that wallet comes packaged inside installer, I would prefer if it was just zip file which you extract into some folder. Anyway I just formatted hard drive and installed fresh OS. If it had any malware, they have lived short  Grin

I'm also having this problem, miner stops sending shares, it receives jobs but doesn't send any share, also power usage drops so gpus are idle. Miner appears to do work, but it is not doing any work.

Re: SRBMiner Cryptonight AMD GPU Miner V1.6.9 - native algo switching

Last night noticed on the pool side gap in hash for period for more than 1 hour, then in the log file found gap that correspond to that drop in hashrate on the pool.
Why this gap of more than 70 minutes?
Can I setup that miner closes when gpu chrash is detected so my own script can take care of it?

Code:
[2018-11-07 00:47:33] watchdog: GPU crash detected, miner will try to restart

So, wallet cannot be used with dynamic IP address?

I'm trying 2 days (more than 20 hours total) and cannot make this miner to work. I've been following guides but without results. Tried Ubuntu, Kubuntu, Xbuntu (16.04) and 17.50 drivers and 18.10 drivers. Tried without ROCm, with ROCm included with drivers, ROCM from Github. Most I managed is for miner to report that there are correct number of gpus but cannot initialize them or something.
What is power consumption for vega 56 on stock settings (flashed to vega 64)? If my psu cannot handle 5 vega cards, better not to lose time any more.

It looks like you are using older version of the Windows and consequently older version of Power Shell. Watchdog uses some functionality not supported on older versions of PowerShell. Check this link about how to upgrade your version of PowerShell, choose 5.1 version:

Too much overclock? These newer versions stress gpu more than previous versions, try with less overclock or limit power usage.
Just disable error reporting in windows, then miner will close without error message window.

I tried config 3 batch file but i can't run it. Because if Bat1 running after that Bat2 running.  Lolminer will be crashed.
How did you managed to run that much gpus on 1 mb? Do you use some 1 to many PCIe adapter or your mb have that number of pcie slots?

I believe GPL means that any source code that is borrowed from another source under GPL must be made available as well. https://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-faq.html#WhyUseGPL

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Does the GPL require that source code of modified versions be posted to the public? (#GPLRequireSourcePostedPublic)
The GPL does not require you to release your modified version, or any part of it. You are free to make modifications and use them privately, without ever releasing them. This applies to organizations (including companies), too; an organization can make a modified version and use it internally without ever releasing it outside the organization.

But if you release the modified version to the public in some way, the GPL requires you to make the modified source code available to the program's users, under the GPL.

Thus, the GPL gives permission to release the modified program in certain ways, and not in other ways; but the decision of whether to release it is up to you."
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Personally, I use both linux and windows miners and have used both lolminer and optiminer. Aside from this post, I'm not getting into this drama and appreciate the work of both miners, however, it does seem those demanding a Windows miner are lazy. Linux distributions are generally free and running a miner on them is not too difficult at all (though more involved), especially with many tutorials available or bitcointalkers willing to assist. Just create a dual boot disk and you're good to go.

What about fact that optiminer does not support all graphic cards (for example vega cards) and that for some cards it does supports it is not optimized (for example 1080ti gives hashrate which is only about 20% higher than hashrate for 1060 3gb, so 20% more hashrate for card that cost 400% more).
Im talking about optiminer on Linux.
