From the reply in my post, It Seems to me they want my passport instead of my ID.

Yes originally I also got Verified using my Drivers license, then they requested a double page scan of my Passport.

Here's a video they posted 2 months ago:

Haha At least someone was in the same boat as me before. Thanks

I was verified about 2 months ago and recently got a support message asking me to do it all over again. I did not even request any withdrawal.  I have already transferred USD $11 000 previously.

If you don't like Bitstamp, don't use them. It's a market.

I did not say i don't like Bitstamp. And i only have one account.

I was verified about 2 months ago and recently got a support message asking me to do it all over again. I did not even request any withdrawal.  I have already transferred USD $11 000 previously.
But this time round they rejected it. Below is their reply. I have submitted 600 DPI documents to them, they still rejected it unless they only want 300 DPI.
I am really disappointed and feel cheated by BITSTAMP. Anybody experienced the same case of re-verification? Please give me advice.

We regret to inform you that your verification request has been denied.

Reason:
ID document does not meet our verification standards - we are unable to determine the validity of the submitted ID document.

Please submit a high quality (300dpi) color image of your other valid ID document where all the required information is clearly visible. Please submit an image of your international passport (double page).

Please resubmit your documents as described on our verification page: https://www.bitstamp.net/account/verify/

If you have any questions regarding Bitstamp exchange service please read our FAQ or use our support form (https://www.bitstamp.net/support/). Our support staff will be more than happy to assist you.

Nah. Who say people are not buying hardwares. Look at the increase of hash rate everyday.
Difficulty will never stabilize. Admit it

I got 10 6990s on the way, be very afraid people. I am going to go from 700MH/S to about 12000 when I am done, I will post pictures. lol

lulz! I've located a warehouse full of defunct plasma screens. By the time we've pulled all the FPGAs out and strapped them together we'll be pulling 100+Ghs!
GPUs are history ngas
How are you going to program these FPGAS to get these kind of hash rates?

EDIT:If you get this working somehow I am willing to pay you for the program.

Let me know thanks. I am highly interested in FPGAS but I have seen that their mine rates so far have been really slow.

Oh noez

Just after The difficulty increases, the Network Hashrate was 9975.
Today it is at 10375 and increasing. (bitcoinwatch)

Are the existing miners adding new cards or are we seeing more new miners?

If the hash rate remains at 9975 we could see a decrease in difficulty.

At this point it Looks like difficulty will never decrease now and forever.

Have anyone tried mining with HP Servers DL380 G5

I have a number of retired HP Servers DL380 G4 and G5 in my server rooms. I am planning of using them for mining since they are spare servers.
Do you think servers are suitable and do they have enough PCI express slots for HD 5850.

Re: Can someone explain this thread which i just read

Your link doesn't work, but I'll give it a shot. A transaction basically says "I'm authorized to use the outputs of this other transaction because I know this key, and I choose to send it here." So let's say your wallet A has key A for Transaction 1 which has 10 Bitcoins, and you back it up. Now if you authorize 1 Bitcoin to be sent to your same address that key A has, using Transaction 1 as the funding source. The client has to make use of all the funds in a transaction. By default, the client will create a new key, Key B, to send the other 9 Bitcoins too, and those will be stored in your wallet. However, if you delete your wallet and restore the backup, it only knows about Key A, not Key B. Therefore, the 9 Bitcoins in change you sent are gone forever as there is no way to get that key back.

Hope that helps.

I think i get it. It is so dangerous. OK lets say
If this time someone sent me 1 BTC after i backup 5BTC and then load back that wallet. Will i lose 4 BTC as well.
