Hi, can you please add an option to disable using the NVML library?
It prevents the miner from working in some nvidia Docker configurations.

Miner exits with no error when run inside a nvidia-docker, with the nvidia/cuda image.

xmr-stak-power: Port of xmr-stak-cpu to POWER8 little endian machines

Hi everyone, it's been a long time since I contributed something since joining this forum in 2011.
I ported the xmr-stak-cpu miner to POWER8 little endian cpus, currently it's not very optimized and has been tested on CentOS 7 only.
You can get about 1600 H/s on a 20 core 2.8 GHz server.

To compile you will need to download and install the IBM Advanced Toolchain 10.0 on your OS, since only its custom GCC compiles the code currently.
After installing, just set your CC and CXX env variables to the path of the IBM compilers and use cmake as usual.

The world isn't just for compromised x86 machines!

Bitcoin won't work between planets, the latency is too big.
It takes about 15 minutes for a roundtrip to Mars.

How did you contact XFX? I have two of these cards and the fans need constant attention.

Through their support page. You need to register the card with them. I was offered to return them the entire card or have them send the replacement cooler.

I also had a burnt fan with this card, and XFX sent me an entire new cooler, with both fans.

Seems like this card is using very bad quality fans, FirstDo or something, they don't even have a webpage.

[I don't think you should do this until the site has been substantially upgraded. It looks a bit like a low-price scam site right now. (I mean that in the nicest possible way.)
Scam sites often involve purchasing hardware from foreign companies. These companies also ask for wire transfer, etc. less reversible methods of payment than credit cards.
Thus you have to improve your image]

It doesn't look that bad, the sites that came before this looked far worse.

What is the CGMINER GPU status and CGMINER pool status? Are your other network applications continue operating when you switch user?

I doesnt actually crash and exit, the interface just stops responding. Also it stops submitting shares, I use the 50btc.com pool and when the miner hangs the drop in mhash/s is seen quickly in the pools API. And GPU-Z shows the gpus continue running the kernels.

CGMINER crashes when using Switch User on Windows. This is the only miner that does this, all other miners continue happily mining in the background.
When the crash happens, the mining kernel continues to run on the gpus but no shares are submitted, and the cgminer interface just hangs and doesnt respond.

I tried all versions back to 2.0.4, they all crash when switching user.

My machine:
Windows 7 x64
Catalyst 12.6, APP 2.7
Radeon 7950 and 5850
