We have added Paypal as an option for helping to fund MBMv2.0 - contact me if you want to set this up.

It has also come to my attention that a lot of you want to help out, but do not have the funds to help us out financially. Alternatively, you can help us by using some faucets with our address. Feel free to post below if you helped out so that we can spread the word.

Happy Mining!

I like the idea of using faucets to donate. I don't have much BTC to give, but I do have time to do some faucets Smiley I think even if only 10 people were using the faucets regularly the results would add up.

I don't have much experience with FaucetBox but the rotator looks pretty good. I think MoonBitcoin would be a good site for people like me (who can donate some time) because you can enter a Captcha every 5 minutes, so even if there are several people who are going to the faucets there should still be the opportunity to collect.

Also, the video for version 2.0 looks great, I am looking forward to the update!

Has anyone received payment from this site? I have one payment posted on the site but not present in my wallet, and it has been almost a week.

I had an account, played for a couple days, site went offline, now it says my account is suspended.

I'm glad I didn't invest anything in this, and I think it goes to show how easily something can come up and shut down and never be seen again :/

Bitcoin isn't actually worth anything since you can't physically hold one.

Re: Does BitVisitor work still?

I just received what will be my last payment from BitVisitor a couple days ago. The pay-per-page amount has dropped significantly since I started using it a couple months ago, and they don't always credit you for viewing the site if you don't solve the captcha quickly enough (or at least it seems that way to me).

From my experience they are still paying, although there was once that I did not receive a payment from them. I have received payment (of at least 60 bits) 4 or 5 times. But like I said, I won't be using the site any more since it doesn't seem to be worth the time to me, as well as the inconsistent crediting towards your balance.

I also signed up for the site but it seems a bit risky to me at this point. I recently got an email from them saying that they were having a sale on the Khs and you could use a promo code to get 10% off...but you still have to spend at least 0.02 BTC so I am not convinced it is worth spending for. This could just be a way to get people to spend money sooner and then the site will disappear :/

On a related note, most of the things I have read about cloud mining are that it is not profitable for the person buying/renting the Khs/Ghs. I haven't really looked into it that much (as far as doing my own calculations and whatnot) but I am not convinced that it is worth spending money on currently.

How to search for exchanges? [solved]
by
nmill12
on 27/08/2014, 16:34:11 UTC
I've been reading posts on here for several weeks and today decided to make an account. I have tried searching through the forums and doing a general internet search but I am having trouble finding a cryptocurrency exchange that I could use. The problem may be that I am just being too picky, but I am interested in learning if there are better ways to find exchanges or if there is a general thread on here that I have missed :/

So my question is, how do you find a good exchange? By good I mean one that has been around and proven trustworthy, low (or ideally no) fees, and has many different coins that can be exchanged. I appreciate any suggestions whether it be about specific exchanges or how to search/find more relevant information in general. Thanks!

EDIT: I apparently just did not search hard enough..I see the post on this page now. This post can be deleted.
