Re: Cryptocurrency Crash
by

Newbies never stop from panicking. If you think about it, the price is at it's average and fair state... the noobs think this is crash because they have entered during ATH last December. I took this positively as we all know that the cryptocurrencies have already crawled over the mainstream and people have decided whether to patronize it or not - and hell yeah, that probably what causes the price to be at this level.

Little you realize that as soon as it reaches it's stable price, it could become a mainstream currency for all.
Crash may happen not only in cryptocurrency but also in all other forms of finance, marketing, trading, or investment. Volatility is viewed in a negative aspect but the fact is that with a strong understanding of volatility and its causes, investors potentially can take advantage of investment opportunities. Let's all stay positive that if market crashes it can absolutely bounce back. Market may not always be at its best but let's all stay hopeful.

Yeah, I totally agree with you, mate!

People may reach out if they want to buy my Ledger Wallet H.W. - I no longer use it since I only have ethereum classics. The wallet supports BTC forks and the last update was for Segwit2x (but I didn't upgrade it to that).

Re: China can destroy bitcoin
by

China can threaten any economy that somehow depends on them - and yes it includes bitcoin. We are talking about a huge community here, assuming that 8 out of 10 of them are into bitcoins, then they surely can affect the circulation of it. But then again, I don't agree about them destroying bitcoins, I only said they are somehow threats.

Paper money can sometimes become a pain in the ass. Be glad we have bitcoin on top of having plastic money issued by banks. Bitcoin gives me the liberty to send value to a different country without the need of forex and stuff like that.

Man, you can never dump cash. Cash is like a token that carries value. lol.

Anyway, bitcoin goes hand in hand with cash at the moment, maybe someday we would go cashless.

If you will use a secured hardware ledger, you can sleep worry free against hackers. Keep in mind, hackers need pieces of information before they can access your wallet, if one of those is missing then you are not that vulnerable. Hardware ledgers serves as your "username" which can never be hacked. ha ha!

Thanks for the news! I do believe that the bloodbath is about to end. Yet, let's enjoy the cheap coins now and HODL until December.

This is fun, yet, funky... But honestly, I am interested to be in that kind of business. Maybe a few decades from now, if I am still alive and my bitcoin has grown already - I will mine asteroids.

Yeah, sooner or late these companies HAVE to adapt to changes. And adapting to blockchain technology is part of it... The best thing about blockchain is it's transparency and irreversibly.

As you said, it was a huge correction of the crypto-currency market. I believe you that this is absolutely normal. I still do not lose hope of price recovery.

The thread was created in November, and man, that was amazing. Haha! If only this analysis were followed by many, there would be lesser cry babies supposedly.

Obviously, the sheep were too hyped to listen to this analysis.

Re: Bitcoin contribution to World' income
by
no0dlepunk
on 03/07/2018, 13:40:58 UTC
Today i was just thinking about Bitcoin and its total contribution in world's economy. Let's calculate it.
Assume Bitcoin price - 8,925 USD
According to coinDesk Supply of total bitcoin yet = 16,937,088
Total value of bitcoin till now approx -$0.152 Trillion
According https://www.credit-suisse.com/corporate/en/research/research-institute/global-wealth-report.html
Total World income is 280 trillion USD
Total bitcoin contribution to world income 0.054%
Here i am just talked about One crypto asset Bitcoin but can you imagine others coin ETH, LTC, DASH etc.

Share your view on it.
Actually bitcoin didn't made any income to the world the value is transferring to one form as fiat to the crypto but the value is same but in future the value of 0.054% will change when the price increases.
...and I totally agree. look at it this way, when your job pays you bitcoin, you didn't really earn bitcoins but you earn fiat. Why? because for you - bitcoin is not really the money you spend with something you want or need.

Sooner or later, the thread's arguments will become true... but unfortunately, not today.

Re: How will crypto go long term?
by

on 03/07/2018, 13:31:28 UTC
Well, the so called "qualified" investors will always need "disqualified" investors because that is where new money would come from. Keep in mind, cryptosphere is not directly for the rich but for the strong. Whoever HODLs - win.

So if they brand you as a disqualified investor, just let it be... the goal is to acquire as many bitcoins as you can, and HODL.

Bitcoin isn't that slow at all, there are forks that you can choose from, it is up to you how are you going to look at it but for me, bitcoincash is a clear development of bitcoin. Of course the haters will hate me. ha ha

Don't let the greed take control my friend. If you don't know what to do with your money, then just follow your desires... If you have earned millions already and ypu want to spend it in real estate, then do so. You don't have to ask for our opinion just because you cannot control greed - greed is when you already have enough, but still you can't manage to stop wanting more.

They don't control the market, they control YOU! ha ha! As soon as they dump their profited bitcoins and YOU started to sell in panic, that is where the magic happens.

by

That depends on the alts that you are referring to, my friend. I was HODLing some wage coins but recently both of it and bitcoin are down by few percentages so I have decided to sell all wages and store bitcoins instead. I am waiting for a good pump anytime though.

Cheap coins always bring huge profits. Last year, if you would compare BTC with ETH beginning February - you will notice that IF ONLY you placed the long term bet on ETH rather than BTC, you could have definitely doubled the gains.
