Re: Where to buy BCH (BCC) coins if you live in WA state?

Buy some bitcoin and then any BTC-to-BCC exchange frees up.
https://bittrex.com has BCC and I believe they are based in seattle.
Remember it's going to cost you like 0.001(+/-) btc every time you send it somewhere, so load extra to afford your miner.

Another programmer who's looked at this project.

I'm not confident i'll ever have enough money in crypto to buy this software or make money using it.
I'm throwing around pennies and enjoying the hobby of it.
Another hobby of mine is reverse engineering and I uncovered a lot of this program's code.... before even running it.

I can't claim it isn't full of viruses, but the program does exactly what it says and shows in the creator's youtube videos.

If I had more money to play with and this program had a more in depth interface i'd replace the website view with this.
It is so fast my web browser doesn't even bother with catching up to changed data.

Based on what I've seen if you like to manipulate markets to push them a little higher for profit, this software is for you.
A command line version of this software would be pretty trivial to make but 0.1 btc is a completely fair price.
I don't think trying to manipulate prices works well with less money than that anyway haha.

If you're interested in this kind of software I recommend throwing money at the dev.

@cryptorip
I'm really impressed with the speed. I've been considering my own project in c# but now I may reconsider electron and websockets.

To get into a coin early you just need to refresh this forum every 5-15 minutes until a new one pops up.
You might wait minutes or days.

Most will be trash wastes of time, but others can be nice. Good fudding luck.

gents, let's keep this thread informative for serious investors ! no FUD!

Dude they stole my identity to make this coin. No investor is going to buy this crap coin.

Put up a picture of the asshole smoking the money again.

I am the real Carson Cloak.

lol you say that, but your FUD address is in the localization files Wink

Mux, would you consider the option to allow communication with previous renters, at least to some small extent?
I had stability and performance issues with my machine and ended up wasting a guy's time, but he was really nice.

I got my machine hashing to a point that I can deliver on what cgwatcher is actually saying.
I'd like to throw the hours to that guy which he originally set out to rent Smiley

Oceanwhispers: Got home finally. My gpu core clock underclocked itselft to 100mhz then died. No idea wtf happened there.
So I reckon thats why you were only getting 50kh/s.
Anyway, look out for a reimbursement and extra tip for being a patient and helpful person.

Better luck with your future rigs.

driver crash... guess your rig is not too stable ;-)

Yup. I'm still working out kinks with it. What I ended up doing was under-clocking my core clock, sticking around 13 intensity, and now i'm seeing stats on pools matching much more consistently with what I see locally. Still have to push limits and benchmark more before I can call things good though.
Just issues I didn't know i'd run into. Apparently I've been under utilizing my machine for months now :/

I didn't have issues like this with sha256 :/

I've got a question since I'm completely newb in tech site of btc.
Lets assume that I want to rent a rig to mine one of the new coin. What do I have to do after I rent a rig? Register on pool which is mining the coin I've chosen?

You'll point the rig to a pool yes.
With a new coin with no pool, you need to be able point the rig to your pc, or your own personal server running the software.
If this is something you plan to do, be sure to test run before hand, and have a standard pool as a fallback.

nocare Thanks for the review on my service.  I saw that you were getting about 7% rejects so I gave you a free hour to eat those up.  I usually hover at a way lower reject than that but I just wanted to make it fair for both of us

Rig #34 Minecraft ---)

Oh no worries, I found it pretty common with pool I was pointing at. Was a profit switching pool and I dropped .2 btc for the fun of it.
Overall I probably earned about 1/3 of what I spent back.

I think this service is great, but I probably will not use it again until I see a brand new coin I desire to just mine a ton of.

I found betarigs to be a really cool service. I got to experience what it is like to be the top hasher on a pool. My personal rig is my mining rig.
A single ati 7970, which hashes pretty decently at full intensity, but isn't viable when I actually choose to use my pc to do pc things.

Rig #34 Minecraft ---)

I just would like to let you all know I have my rig listed at 2500 kh/s but you will more than likely be higher than that.  I am on my 3rd order with no real problems so far.  If you see me up for rent give me a try and let me know what you think.  I have a constant remote connection to the rig and I work 5 minutes away so if there are any problems I can get on it and get it back going fast.

As always lets go find those diamonds  ---)

Oh nice. I spotted your rig, seemed an intelligent listing and ordered it. First time using the service.
Fancy seeing you here. haha.

Nice doing business with ya

I've got 67,200 for sale. For what ever reason my gpu wouldn't mine it, but cpu would.
I've been solo mining nonstop since the second it released lol.

Its not much, but it's on the table. I've got 0 trust here so smaller transactions are probably better.
Off to work, will check pms later.

I can't even get the wallet to connect to the network even after adding all the nodes both to the conf file and manually adding the nodes via the debug console...did everyone just give up on this coin or what?

Yes. Fuck this coin.
The programmer can code for shit.
I lost 500k coins. 500,000.

I have 0 reason to spend my time on this coin.

i cant mine with the kush wallet no such option on this one?Huh

Honestly you don't want to mine with the wallet.
The wallet download comes with a sample conf.
Point cgminer/bfgminer/minderd to localhost:port
Use your rpcuser and rpcpass.

Its really simple..

Coin is scrypt.
