On the long run I can still see a big percentage of coin failing due to this payment factor, maybe not up to 95% for already listed tokens. I have also seen high demand affect some token to high dump like the ethereum but on the long run there would be more competition for token with similar purposes

You can really tell that this thread started at the back end of 2017. Back then, $5k for ETH in a year's time seemed quite possible. But after a difficult year so far for all of crypto, personally I'd be happy to see ETH at $1k by year end. I don't think we'll see anything quite like that Dec2017-Jan2018 rise anytime soon.

Investing In bitcoin when It's still In a low price and Increase just In a week, then you may sell your bitcoin atleast you earn a little bit profits from It, In a short time. But If you want a bigger profits, try to hold In long-term period.

Most of the old user's in this forum probably get rich right now and I think that everyone else in the crypto-sphere would also have a chance to get rich as long as you do the right investment on potential coins and stay away from scam projects.

As for me, ETH should become very expensive this year. I like Vitalik, because he constantly improves this project. It's the main reason for price to grow. The coin is always in high demand. This coin is good for long-term investment.

It is good to hold your bitcoin at the time of falling price, as you said it is very natural for bitcoin that it often decreases the price but the suddenly it rise very high, so if some people have sold their bitcoin which made the price down it does not mean you also become worry, sell panic and contribute to the price to become more than this, don’t panic as it will be your contribution in dumping, so hold and let it be high.

I would go for coins that have solid roadmaps that are being hit.

Coins such as ADA should increase dramatically in 2 years time as they become more mainstream, and are seen as a "V3 Blockchain" by many.

I think its is totally the opposite of it. It might be the best time for trading since the prices are low many potential investors must be showing good interest in buying so good coins that might have some good value in the future. And I am in line with you bung, I doubt the average of ICO. most of them after succeeding in the ICO phase as if they lost their original principles and goals early in the introduction of the product (token or coin). Their tokens are just hanging around the market just like the others that work only for trading. I prefer to invest in BTC or other altcoins that they obviously have real value.

I don't think so. I know many people that holds LTC long term including me. I purchased mine since last year. The market is not performing well lately and that is the main reason. Community and usage wise LTC is probably right there after BTC and ETH.

I hope so. There was a fall in the values of the coin the last week and it fell by more than a thousand dollar but this is okay and people will never loose until they sell during the dip. The market will recover soon and might even rise beyond the expected values the experts say. That could be possible with bitcoin or even in other altcoins. If you have had invested in cryptocurrencies in a diverse approach, then chances are, you can double up your investment or even triple it at its best.
