Re: [ANN][AMS] AmsterdamCoin™ | 100% PoS, Cold-Staking, Side-Chains, Smart-Contracts

All problems should be resolved now!

What was the problem?
The old blockchain stalled because masternode payments were enforced while there was no masternode active in the network. All proof of stake blocks were rejected and the chain got stuck for about 4 days.

How did you solve it?
I started the wallet using the spork key which allowed me to disable the enforcement of masternode payments. With a modified wallet I was able to create a new block through proof of stake. After that, all available nodes started staking again and the blockchain is rolling again.

What about missing swaps?
All missing swaps should be paid automatically by the swap service on Txbit Exchange. If this is not the case for you then let me know. Just drop me a PM here on the forum, or create a support ticket on Txbit Exchange.

Could you please also provide a guide that how we can use the cold staking feature?

I downloaded the linux64 but can't find anyway to compile the new wallet for linux.
Does someone know how or where is the QT?
Thanks

The wallet is already compiled, make the file executable with chmod +x amsterdamcoin, start with ./amsterdamcoin

Could you please write the exact code sequence to start the amsterdamcoin daemon ?

Been watching the development for almost one year. Even though they are not so active here, you may join their telegram page for the latest updates and discussion.
I think it is one of the most promising projects out there. It is worth to wait for the upcoming platform and with the current price it is definitely a good opportunity to invest.

One of the great projects out there, highly skilled dev team together with a nice community. It won't be surprise to see SEND in top 50 projects soon.

There is a plan of a community takeover. Discussion already on their way in Discord. It is not the end, there is a one more push to fork or clone DAS.
Join the Discord if you are a DAS holder, you can't sell it anyway.

Could you please share Discord link?

The coin specifications are not so clear at the first page.
Can developers post the exact specifications to calculate the MN rewards correctly?

Is there any way to speed up the synchronization on linux wallet?
Based on my estimation it will take 10 days to fully synchronize with the network.
It is also using high percentage of CPU ( pushing up to 70-80%).

I boght some SNC yesterday. Should have done it earlier, but couldn't be bothered with creating new account on HitBTC. Is SNC the only project currently with such an idea and working in energy sector? Does it have any competitors?

You can have a look at Solarcoin in which main purpose is not energy trading as SNC but incentivizing solar PV generation.

during the transaction of 112 coin to myself i have a fee of 0.0001, so i need to send myself 112.0001 right? the masternode started sucessfully with only 112 but i don't know if does it really works...

I think you should exactly send 112 coins and paying the fee from the wallet you are sending.
Try to send exactly 112 coins, then probably a pop up window will show up for the option of paying the fee from the sender wallet.

I was like you but finally i got my XCXT coins after waiting more than 1 week, even though couldn't get CXT back yet.

Hello, can someone share how many masternodes are online and how many coins are delivered as reward to each masternode in a day?
And also is it possible to have a cold windows wallet to get the rewards while using remote linux vps?

Still no response from the devs for coin swapping which makes me worried, but I did some math based on previous discussions about coin rewards.

I made an assumption of masternode rewards for the interested ones as below:

According to the X11 algorithm, generated coins per block can be calculated by 2222222/(((PoS_Diff+2600)/9)^2)

If we take block number 11047 as reference (PoS_Diff was 16789.290, can be checked from here: http://193.70.109.114:5003/)

Number of PoS coins generated per block is 2222222/(((PoS_Diff+2600)/9)^2)=0.479 coins/block

According to the coin specifications, Masternode reward is 50% of the PoS coins which makes 0.479*0.50= 0.239 coins/block

XCXT block time is 1.5 minutes which corresponds to 960 blocks for a day.

Taking our difficulty assumption as reference (actually it is changing dynamically), Masternodes in total will get 960*0.239=229 coins for a day.

This amount will be distributed among MNs. According to the number of MNs, each of them can get the following coins based on our assumption:
( Let's also calculate USD value based on BTC=4000$ and XCXT=0.00001500 BTC (0.06$) )

10     MNs = 22.9  coins/day for 1MN (1.37     $/day, 41    $/month)
100   MNs = 2.29  coins/day for 1MN (0.137   $/day,  4.1   $/month)
1000 MNs = 0.229 coins/day for 1MN (0.0137 $/day,  0.41  $/month)

EDIT:
*MN reward corrected as 50% thanks to azkashtan.
*Specifications are based on first page announcement (if devs correct them, i will update the calculations)
