Does anyone have an ideea if I withdraw usd from bitstamp into my EUR account, it should get credited, right?

Also, "Waiting to be processed" means the wire hasn't actually left bitstamp?

hi nottorious91,
If you withdraw usd to your euro account it will be credited, your bank will do the exchange.
"Waiting to be processed" means that it has not left bitstamp yet. In my case over the last months, the status usually moves from "Waiting to be processed" to "Finished" within 24 hours. And then you only have to wait less than a week for it to arrive in your account (for an international transfer, SEPA might be even faster).

Thanks for the reply. I hope my SEPA withdraw will arrive monday / tuesday.

I'll give you $290, even though it rebounded.  I don't think we'll see $1xx on Mt. Gox again, ever.

Just like people said they won't see <150 in April?

Another theory about why there is so little resistance to the current climb:

1) many of the largest bitcoin holders were criminals and/or money launderers; and

2) ^ have been scared away from the major exchanges due to regulation and government actions over the summer.

Haven't actually thought about this but I think it must be pretty spot on. A lot of early adopters (miners) sold their coin during the early days and a lot of criminals kept accumulating wealth and not spend it on themselves, but resupply, etc.. Now due to the crackdown on SR they aren't moving a finger.

Wouldn't be surprised if now a lot of the btc that used to be for sale (by criminals) are off the market for a while.

How do I cancel an open order on bitstamp? I put in an open order to buy at a very low price for fun. Now I cant figure out how to fix it Sad

account -> open orders

THanks just found it now on my laptop. Couldnt find it before on the iphone. grr

No problem, I had to google it the first time when I used the exchange Cheesy  (they should have an more obvious way to cancel.

Btw, if u check the orderbook at your sum you can click it to cancel it there also (u'll see a small green triangle in the bottom left corner of the orderbook entry)
