If you'll take a look at the market, liquidity is far from good...
Gimre is it possible to get some kind of status/update/log on the different NEM funds? Like how much has been used from the different funds, for what, and what is the current/preliminary plan for how the funds will be used in the future?

Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs
I knew my memory was still good. When will this be implemented?
Silver Coins for Distribution to Stakeholders - - Dev-Fund 211,885,438.63 which is over $2 million
If the silver?gold coin distribution is not going to go ahead, the only fair thing to do is give the held funds back to the stakeholders.
The execution of the silver coin project isnot guaranteedand will only proceed providing that XEM market cap and liquidity are sufficient to cover the expenses with the allocated stakes.
Well I'd say there the market cap and liquidity is big enough for it to be more than possible. Although as I said from the beginning I think those funds should've been distributed between the stakeholders.

Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs
So is the money you use in this app xem or is nem just the background technology for sending fiat?
NEM is a platform. XEM powers the platform, without which, the platform does not work. It has always been the push of NEM in the first place, i.e., XEM for transaction fees and the blockchain of NEM for applications.
...yes I know that XEM powers NEM but that was not the question. I asked if the users in the app send xem themselves (like you send 10 000 xem to your friend for something) or if it appears to the users that they for example send dollars (and NEM (XEM) works as just the background technology that powers the app).
Send Fiat $. All the XEM transaction fees paid by us in the background.
Okay I see Really cool app concept, lets hope it will succeed! By the way, can we get any information on how soon "coming soon" is? Days? Weeks? Months? Years?

Hm when I'm using version 0.62 and try to send 33 xem with minimum fee check box checked it says the fee will be 2 xem. But after I sent it I had to pay a fee of 4 xem.

Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread -100% Original Codebase - Over 70 Active Team Members
Wow, 1000 pages. I never thought we'd make it here so fast!
I'd like to take this occasion to make two really special announcements.
The first is related to me personally. I have thought a lot about my life over the past year and with NEM we only have one shot at success. Therefore, I am quitting my job to work full time on NEM and building the NEM ecosystem.
Supporting me in this is my second announcement: we were able to get venture funding for building a project on top of NEM that has the potential to change the lives of billions of people. I will not to go into details yet (we are the master of the ninja launch), but I think it shows the potential for our platform, especially since we have mainstream interest in our project.
It's going to be both exciting and scary over the next several months, but let's work together to change the world for the better. We only have one shot at this.
Cool! I think this will be very good for NEM

The last person you want involved with NEM is Smaragda. His adderall induced posts are the antithesis of good marketing.
Of course... now they're coming back with their sock-puppets...

There is a bug in NCC. When I switch between accounts with the "HARVESTED BLOCKS" tab selected the previous accounts harvested blocks gets added to the currently selected accounts harvested blocks.

What does the "Due by (hours)" field do in the "Activate delegated harvesting" window? Is it fine if it's on 1?
It is fine whatever value you set there, the client will try to execute everythin immediately, but if something goes wrong (bad internet connection etc.) after the value set - the order will be canceled... It is like an interval during which the transaction will be tried to be executed.
Okay thanks!

If I have a server that I've installed and started nem (NIS) on. And then remote connect to that server from my main pc (NCC) and login to my wallet I get this message.
Quote
You're trying to boot a node xxx.xx.x.x
Booting remote node is currently impossible from within NCC.
How can I auto boot a node without putting my private key as a bootkey on the server with NIS?

What does the block difficulty depend on? And is there a way to send a few XEM to a friend without him being able to check how much XEM I have, which people I've sent to in the past etc?

Re: NEM Official Thread -NEM has launched[Updates&Discussion]
When I shutdown NIS while having NCC open with me being logged into my wallet and then start NIS again I get this message. Shouldn't it start automatically even if I just restarts NIS?
Quote
NIS needs to be booted. Please open your wallet and boot a local node via the popup dialog or configure the auto-boot setting. (at block 3663)
Start =/= boot
If you let NCC open and stay logged into your wallet and then restart NIS, you have to boot it manually. Take a look in the menu on the top right (arrow down symbol) -> "Boot Local Node".
Oh okay I see, thanks!
What does the "block difficulty" really mean? Does it depend on "how much importance" that is currently harvesting?
