The halving, the logic behind the cut in half of the reward is coded in the source of coin itself, that is the place to begin with. Offcourse there may be some website with a complete list out there already but i don't know any.

Exactly my thought, the market is pretty easy to make a chunk off of if you plan a month or two in advance of a major coin halving, especially if LTC follows suite here, then BTC will be a big payday this winter. Heck I bet people would "donate" a little for a continously updated list of estimated halving dates based on hashrate, hashrate over time, blocks to next halving etc.

Edit: I spoke to soon, this isa the exact site I was looking for the otherday when I lost all my bookmarks to all my data for analysis https://walletinvestor.com/forecast/bitcoin-prediction they have it for all major coins it looks like I never noticed thayt and I've been using their bull/bear meter for ages.

the next halving of litecoin will happend in less than 2 months from now
you can see the date of litecoin halving in this link my friend
https://www.litecoinblockhalf.com

and for bitcoin halving just go here https://www.bitcoinblockhalf.com

Yeah those are the two I have nin my crypto bookmark mess.

Is there a website that lists all halvings, or many? Eveen better a dynamic list. If not this might be a big money idea cause the weeks leading up to a halving is right about when it peaks and then bavck to pre halving price a few weeks after halving.

How can we find or calculate all coins next halving?
by

I've recently become interested in the markets tendancies during halving events. With bitcoin sometime this coming winter and litecoin later this summer I have a chance to compare the two on charts before, after and curing along with their past 1 or 2 halvings that had market anticipation and response with it.

I googled a bunch of phrases mixing crypto, bitcoin, halving, blockchain, currency etc. and I cant find a site that lists anymore than a single number of sites talking about bitcoin halvings and a couple on litecoin with it coming soon.

Is there a website that predicts (better yet: updates. Best yet: calculates on the fly) the estimated halving time for a handful, some, all, any cryptocurrencies or would this be something I would have to learn web coding for the first time since html in the 90's to create myself. Even if the latter is true, is there any good resources to make this easy?

Its my opinion following this data might allow a easy cash out during any coins halving period of advanced leadup, at, and after the actual halving.

I am currently watching, and laying a ton of active  crypto on Litecoin as of the last 2 weeks and I already think I'm late with the fall yesterday to 176$ CAD. So I would love to follow this one and bitcoin this winter and see if there is a "system" to well "win".

Thanks.

I think I understand what you're trying to say. You have ETH and BTC that is worth roughly the same amount and there happens to be a same level of percentage increase I'm both markets,  and you sell ETH  for BTC and market drops back to what it was before, would have loss or profit?  I think you still have what you had before. Unless you exchanged it for a stable coin and market returns to what it was before the increase, you will still have that same amount and you can then decide to buy the $2500 worth of BTC since the price has dropped.

That actually makes sense to me it you could play the markets they way a tether coin is needed in between. I guess this only csmr into my mind looking at the percent change over 25 hours being up to 7 to 10 points between the worst and best performing coins. My kbowledge tells me you'd have to look at the minute to minute difference as stated above and that's where there is a fraction of a percent change since all coins are more or less tied to eachother.

Back to the free for under 500$ and open source trading bots i guess while I'm unable to trade. I just hate how they all prefer binance and I only trust coinbsse pro where your account requires an SMS for every new login AND 2fa if desired. I lost a whole months trading profits a year ago to some sort of keylogger.

However, no wallet provide free of cost intra-wallet trade in my knowledge.

CoinBase does for USA Canada and other countries you can use their transfer/translate/convert button I beleive (will have to double check the actual word).

This is exactly what made me think this cause I did some conversions In house at coinbse3 when I needed a specific currency and then it stopped working so I did a support ticket to say was my country blacklisted from the free conversions or what and it ended up just being some bug then fixed.

I'm sure if this is profitable it would be a lot of work and probably be less profitable then the 0.1% a trading bot website can get you over time.

I'll make a diagram if k get some time if this doesn't totally explain it (coinbase internal free coin to coin conversions). Thanks. A

Trying to see if someone knows the economics behind is it profitable to swap coins based on their 24 hour price changes and "play the difference between two coins". I thought someine versed in the maths of economics or is a master googler which I am not 2oukd have a quick answer.

Math: Can You Make Profit Off Gain Differences?
by

This is a thought I've had for quiet a while and can't figure out how I would Google the answer nor the math.

If I theoretically had a multi coin wallet with 0% in-wallet trading fees could you play the difference between Bitcoin in a meger day versus an alt bin a good day.

For example I have 1 BTC which went up 1% to $10,000 in the last 12hrs as well as 5 Ethereum which spiked up 15% to $500. Thus if I notice this on the "trade between BTC ETH & XMR free" website and traded my 5 eth for 2500$ of BTC or 0.25 BTC. Would I have made a profit if the charts stabilize them back to 0&0% gains a week later after the market plays with it.

Is they profitable or iis the math evrn further over my head? Or... Does it depend on much more variables? Where or how could I calculate this if there is a profit to be made playing gains and losses in top 5 coins? Again google Snd crazy specific and modified search terms has been zero help for my brain.

Thanks I hope someone knows the basic answer or someone has a link to the real math to decide what to do of it is indeed possibly profitable playing loss gains.

What is the cost? I am thinking of setting up a site with a very small interest rate to get the idea started. Theres full vesrions of HYIP and similar "programs" scripts for wordpress and whole site with sql installers and such for free if you google for five minutes.

I have  32 r9 290s a bunch dead and a bunch brand new. U see card priced are way down and u paid 3 to 4 hundred Canadian each. Would it be better to wait for all coins tk go back up in price to sell or are prices of gpus gonna keep falling? I'm investing in bitcoin now and gonna try bittrex trading bots again now that they withdraw to Canadian bank accounts

Thanks

This project looks very interesting. The bounty program intreged me from the start as it had many different ways to gain entries which were interesting and seemed like a treasure hunt. The coin itself seems like it will have a good future especially with the support growing around it. Of course there are lots and lots of ICOs to compete with these days but this one really gives you a chance on the ICO if you work at it. There are some odd thirty bounty tasks you can complete for thousands of entries into the coin draw. I've done most of them now it took about two hours and it seems worth it. I hope the future of this coin goes up and up and continues to grow. The team is top notch and I think they could lead the project as well as ethereum or bitcoin itself of course learning from the results we have seen over the last few years. I started in 2015 already a few years late and kick myself for not starting all this earlier but still have gained a good balance and projects like this make the future seem even brighter.

Combining a private transaction network based on other crypto currencies with economically incentivised service nodes to create a trustless quorum based networking protocol is a great idea in my opinion, which is humble with so many these days. This protocol allows anyone to route small packets of data in an anonymous and decentralised way which will lead to privacy on this coin. The front end applications that use this packet routing system are private-by-design. The value proposition of this coin is high in my mind. A private-by-default protocol that builds on proven cryptographic scheme like this and allows the creation of decentralised, resilient and oppression-free applications for real-word use is a no brainer.

How do you find bountys (For free coins/tokens)
by
nsomnia
on 26/04/2018, 16:56:00 UTC
I've read you can make a few bucks in your free time by promoting new coins pre-exchange-acceptance by completing their bounty programs for free coins in their current or future wallet.

How do you find these in the forums? I had to scroll through dozens of pages of tons of text/links/images (blind in one eye makes it even harder) and I found one in an hour which wasnt well setup."

I invested in one with actual ETH last year that has 0% return so far but it did get listed on an exchange.

How do I find free bounty programs I search 'bounty' in Chrome in the Altcoin announcements and don't find any.

Where do you decide up-and-coming coins from?
by
nsomnia
on 20/04/2018, 05:56:22 UTC
What websites/forums do you guys use to decide on new coins to mine that will be soonly/are newly listed on the big 2 (bittrex/cointopia) and will thus probably be a good coin to mine since the price will go up.

I use WhatToMine to pick the most profitable in the last 3 days and difficulty average over the last 3 days to decide what to mine until they drop to neutral with Ethereum and if I havnt sold by them I either sell them or hold onto them if they seem stable and always go back to 1:1 price at some point.

Theres been a lot of uncertanity lately leaving Eth very low and equihash coins even worse off and bitcoin saposidly hardly profitable to mine but things are picking up again.

I mine equihash/ethash and all the others listed on whatToMine but those two algos seem to be the only coins that you can safely mine and make at least 1:1 in the end. I have an 8 gpu r9 290x rig giving 255.2MH/s Ethash & 3.2KH/s on equihash. At coins peak I was making good money, these days after power costs and canada stupid "transmission fees" its not nearly as profitable considering the wear putting on cards on most algos.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.
