Ripple can only be the future currency if bitcoins and ether is dead. In terms of volume and marketcap, bitcoins and ether is far above ripple hence it can't be the future currency.

When bitcoin goes down, the value of alts go down as well when compared to fiat currencies since we are trading alts with BTC.

I think you are good in holding in bitcoin or you are good in trading. You get high profits buy trading in bitcoin. Why you dont trade in other coins so you more profit too. 

This coin doesnt need pump, just proper development and everything will be ok. One of the strongest projects out there with real life usage

New BitBar wallet is cool but it wont stay in sync.It keeps falling behind everyday and when/if I get it to sync it just goes back out,is there a reason for this and why does the wallet still say the checkpoint is to old?

This is obviously unfair. A bounty campaign should clearly define the rules at the beginning of the game, instead of changing the rules at the last moment. No one would like to contract with those who arbitrarily change the rules because they lack credibility. I suggest blacklisting ICOs and bounty managers who changed the rules at the last moment.

I think that the best investment for your 500 dollars will be the Ethereum. Ethereum in my opinion is a great long-term and safe investment.
