Connectivity is a key factor, I suggest you to ping the mining pool before switch to it,
long latency and high packet loss rates are not good for you.

I made more mistakes than you, I believe there are many more sunny days ahead in 2018.
I initially allin-ed LTC, at about $5 dollars, and sold all when it hit $30, and then all-in-ed QTUM and sold out at $15 around mid October, 2017.
I missed too many opportunities last years, and I believe there are more chances to play onto the moon in 2018.

That's a stupid idea! Mobile is not for this.
Manufacturers try what they could to make the tiny device more efficiency, while mining consumes more electricity and cause more damage to your devices.

And how much will you earn on a daily basis? Ten cents, fifty cents? And how much will you lose?
That's really a joke, and will definitely bring your mobile a small lifespan of living. You need to pay more on phones.
You lose is more than than CPU/GPU minings, which is not that profitable already.

I'd suggest you mining alter coins instead of main stream coins, this would give more possibilities.
You may need to do a research and find out the right coins that would a long-term hodl, then mining them
