I got into a very cheap membership that grants you some NFTs as a benefit, the NFTs most likely than not are not gonna be valuable but by reviewing its smart contract code (that I had to decompile btw) I saw that it had a burning function, I understand how burning works but since I have never got any NFT that I haven't minted myself I never gave it too much thought until now that somebody gave me one but while I think that yes an NFT can proof authenticity I don't know about the ownership that is claimed, am I misunderstanding what "ownership" means? Can't the issuer just burn it arbitrarely even if you brought it? is free market enough to give balance to that behaivior or is an inherit risk of buying them? or maybe they are not meant to be traded? I know there are positive ways in which you can use the burning mechanism but still looks like a double edge sword . . . Also why burning if the blockchain is inmutable? for mere economics of scarcity? what was the intended purpose of NFTs or they still simply because they can exist?

I think it is more clearer now. Technically speaking you can have your python script, that is basically some kind of assistant for writing SQL queries, and use some UI toolkit for python like Tkinter, PyQT, etc. to have a better experience for non technical users.

If you are sure that that's what actually meet your current needs, I think what I suggested is one possible solution specially if is just for looking up records and not modifying the DB, but you should discuss it further with any dev you choose to work with.

I hope you are able to find a dev for the job.

Are you looking for somebody that can make you a flask or django web app? (or something similar) I'm assuming since you mentioned that you needed python code and some UI with html and css that you have something a stack similar to those but because you mentioned a terminal make it sound odd to me, I think my question might help make it more clear to potential devs wanting to apply.   

Yeah, kinda a bummer that the products / services available that accept crypto are still limited to those that are financial related, which makes sense, but still I which I could spend it in more mundane stuffs like video games.

However I would point out that some things like traveling for example can be done with crypto and the buying process is very convenient. Privacy related products usually accept crypto too but I mean, it just feels natural for them to accept them if they are well known and actually decentralized

Yeah, I think trying a debit card I can charge with crypto is the only option that I have **sigh** because the game that I play and spend the most on does not have a way for a third party to buy the in-game currency for me. I'm just kinda on the fence because I don't know if the card will pass and then I'll won't be able to spend my money hahaha   just has it happened with the gift card code that I have and that I can't redeem (which btw if somebody wants it that can actually redeem it hit me up it is a $12 one ).

So maybe if somebody has tried that method (debit card with charged with crypto) before and worked for them, I'll feel a bit more confident to trying my self

I have been looking for a way to use crypto that I own to pay for the gacha games I usually play on mobile and so far I have been unsuccessful but to be honest I just tried once with a play store gift card that I couldn't redeem due to location issues, so I wanted to ask:

Does anyone here that uses crypto for in-app purchases can share a way to do it that is not restricted by location or similar?

Because I'm new here, I'm a hobbyist and I want to encourage anyone to give it a try I will be offering affordable prices. So here is what you need to know:

• Simple Shapes Non-Humanoid Icon (See showcase 7). Delivery time: Within 24hrs. Price: $1
• Half Body Art (See showcases 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 ): Delivery time: within 72hrs. Price: $5
• Full Body Art (See showcase 1 and 2 ). Delivery Time: Within 1 week. Price: $15

Addons:

• Animation: I can add some movement using javascript just keep in mind there is so much it can be done just with SVGs and that it WON'T be a fancy skeletal animations with meshes. Ask about what kind of motion you would like and I'll tell you if I can make it happen. Price: +$50 on top of the base price

What you need to provide:

• A reference: You must send me a reference for the pose or the type of character you would like. Provide as many references as you can to illustrate what you want and no, I won't just trace on top of the references.
• A Description: Which is very clear and detailed so I can understand exactly what you want.
