Re: Whose advice you take when it comes to Bitcoin?

It is up to individuals whose advice they want to take. If they trust that particular person about Bitcoin then be it. Let themselves decide. Usually, individuals will only take advice from well-experienced users or experts because they need someone they trust to guide them.

Re: How do you promote Bitcoin?

How do you promote Bitcoin or crypto currencies?
Do you even promote it?
I am promoting it to my friends back when I was just new in crypto,
But most of them don't care about it back then.

Basically for me, what people need to do is just by word of mouth. A lot of people need to spread positivity about the advantages of Bitcoin and also give evidence why it is very beneficial.

Re: centralize money vs. decetralized money (bitcoin)
by
nuraziaaziz
on 29/11/2018, 09:51:10 UTC
Hi guys nowadays most people still arguing which is the best centralized or decentralized? , well if we go back in traditional and old times centralized money is the best because we can handle it , w.e can keep it. but today bitcoin is very popular because its decentralized . and its very convenient . however many of us still afraid in this new type of money which is virtual because it might lose or somewhat but it still similar on cenralized money that might steal or lose. also many financial analyst still advicing about putting your money in bank ? like hell ! ? investing in decentralized much better than  putting your money in bank 1% or 2% monthly ? fuck .. whats your thoughts?

I think some people do not understand how the decentralized system works and they are scared of making the wrong decision that will lead to losing even though they knew that the decentralized system helps them gain more profit. That is the reason why they still stick to using the centralized system where bank take control of it and they believe that centralized is the safest options.

Re: What are the opportunities we have in blockchain?
by
nuraziaaziz
on 29/11/2018, 09:44:07 UTC
One of the major advantages I think is not actually the payment system potential, but the functionality that smart contacts offer.

Bitcoin is definitely lagging behind in this area, as it will either require a few forks, or sidechain implementation to approach the smart-contract functionality offered by its rivals, but once it gets there, decentralized applications and decentralized file storage systems are only a matter of time.

I agree with you. I believe the reason why people trust blockchain because of the smart contracts offer as their information are encrypted stored safely on the shared ledger as well as autonomy where the owner will have full control of their wealth.

I don't think Blockchain will ever fail. If it does in the coming future, all coin including Bitcoin and other altcoins will not be used anymore by people. Basically, they will use back the corporate bank instead.

Re: Simple Tips Keeping Your Bitcoin from Hackers.
by
nuraziaaziz
on 26/11/2018, 02:38:54 UTC
- We must have our own way to keep our Bitcoin safe. The account we use must have a unique password, and not easily guessed.

- Do not equate account passwords associated with Bitcoin with other accounts such as social media, because it is vulnerable to hack, let alone the followers of its social media a lot.

- Use two-factor or 2FD authentication. Additional security layers are easy to apply. Quite a few apps like Google Authenticator as a 2FD installation provider. In essence, it works as a second security layer after the password. When you've entered a keyword into your account, the system will request a two-factor authentication code. The six-digit code does not need to be memorized because it changes every 30 seconds.

- And one more, do not trust everyone. Suppose we provide information about our Bitcoin account to our Mother, it is not impossible that our mother could just tell it to someone else. With the spread of such information will increase the potential for breaking.

I believe it is the same way like how we prevent other people knowing our social media account password. It works the same way however for this, we might eventually lose a lot of money if we are not extra careful with our wallet. I totally agree with your statements about trust no one. This is also one of the ways to keep your Bitcoin safe. No matter how close you are with them, do not let share your password spread to your cousin or friends because we might not know what will happen. Anything can happen when it comes to wealth and when they are facing difficulties.

If BTC is not the best way to save money, What you think is the best ?

Bitcoin is not meant to save money!
If you want to save your money put it on a bank or on your wallet.
Bitcoin and cryptocurrency are meant for earning! profit!
Here you need to be smart to gain! not to save money!

I totally agree with your statements. I believe if people were to save their BTC, they have to put it somewhere. If people still insist on using BTC to save money, instead of earning Bitcoin, they will lose a lot of money.

I believe that Bitcoin consume a lot on the electricity because it eat up more energy in blockchain technology where it allows people to be able to transact with each other whereas I'm quite unsure why or how it will affect or even destroy the environment.

Yes, Bitcoin is a good way to save money for kids because by the time they grew up, blockchain technology will already been widespread so it's better to let the kids to understand what is it for and the benefits as it will take quite a while for some people to understand how this blockchain and bitcoin works.

Re: This is why we should all use Bitcoin and no more credit cards.
by
nuraziaaziz

So, I buy a Amazon Kindle Fire, because I like to read. When you configure it for the first time, you have to login with your

Amazon account (obviously) and then you are presented with 2 x FREE audio books. I accept the 2 x FREE books, to test the

audio and also to experience audio books for the first time. (I prefer reading the ebooks, but I thought I would give it a try, to

see what it sounds like.)

A month down the line, I get a sms notification from my Bank, notifying me of a payment done to "Audible" so I phone my

Bank. They inform me that it is a monthly subscription to Audible.com. (I never gave consent for "Audible" to sign me up for a

monthly subscription) This is how they do it --->  http://prntscr.com/ksqxhv  (I never even saw that, when I was offered the

2 FREE books) !!!!!!!!  Why would I sign a subscription if I just wanted to listen to the so-called FREE books?  Huh

In any way, I logged in again and cancelled the subscription and it already billed me for next month.  Angry Angry Angry

Now, this will NEVER happen with Bitcoin, because nobody can automatically withdraw money from your Bitcoin address. You

have FULL control over your own money.  Cool I am not the only one - https://www.sitejabber.com/reviews/audible.com

I totally agree with you that Bitcoin is better than using credit cards because I did experience the same things as well and I just wasted my few dollars paying for bills that is basically stated free for 1 month and once i cancel the monthly subscription, they already charge me for the next month which is super annoying and troublesome until I had to called them to cancel the monthly subscription.

Re: Which will survive in long run Bitcoin or Blockchain???
by
nuraziaaziz
on 20/11/2018, 02:17:53 UTC
I'm not too sure about Bitcoin because as what people know, without Bitcoin, no one knows what is blockchain and the process of it. Between Bitcoin and Blockchain, I can say that Blockchain will survive in the long run because it is decentralized system and is a digital ledger in which transactions made are recorded publicly and that will be used for the futures because of the advantages they provide.

Re: UNICEF is now accepting donations in Bitcoin and 8 altcoins

This is a very good news to hear. Instead of cash, there is also another payment method for people especially coin owners to enable them to  donate money for those in needs. This is a kind of social impact that could save a lot of people. This is one of the benefits that has in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.  Smiley

Re: Why Bitcoin ATM is increasingly widespread?

It was good to know that now there's an increasing numbers of Bitcoin ATM everywhere. With this, it will be convenient for Bitcoin users. This will also attract more people in using these digital currencies when they sees Bitcoin ATM anywhere which makes them curious in knowing what is Bitcoin and the benefits when using it.
