Consider these before investing in cryptocurrency
by
nussy
on 30/09/2018, 10:40:29 UTC
Don't just buy into cryptocurrency coins without making due process on the following factors:

Total Supply and Circulating supply of the coins
Price during ico if any.
Community strength during and after ico.
Any coin burn and how many will be burnt.
Antecedent of the developer
Is there an established company behind them?
If not, at least does the team have expertise, experience, and trust from others?
Do they have a working product or revenue/profit stream?
Do you trust them? do they have a service or product that will endure for years to come..
And above all the use case of the coin. The use case triggers speculation and speculations fuels the price increase.

Of course, there are many more, but it’s common sense for the most part…
If the answer is no to any of those, it’s best to avoid investing.

Re: Bitcoin may reach $ 20,000 by the end of this year?
by

The price of bitcoin in September 2017 was not up-to 50% of what's it in September 2018. And by December 2017 the price increase tremendously which everybody was hoping  the price will stable in this year 2018 but some big guns keep crashing the price. Nevertheless,  the history might still repeat itself though not too certain to reach ATH of $20,000 but we could have an adjustment in the market price before the year 2018 runs out.

Let be objective with our investment
by

on 10/09/2018, 14:27:45 UTC
We need to accept the facts that it's very difficult now to see a coins doing x10 x20 or even doing 50% returns on investment in this bear period.  And nobody knows when the bulls will come. Therefore,  it's will be advisable to exist when your coins do 20% returns or even less. I know some investors will not be satisfied with 20% but we need to be objective and understand this bear period will last longer than expect.

In recommending bitcoin to close relations make sure it those people that understands the markets and open up to them as things is at the moment. Close relatives are the most difficult people to introduce online business too, and when telling them to invest you just need to educate them and let them invest on their own. It will too risky to collect funds and invest on their behalf.

Everybody cannot and will not join cryptocurrency as we still need people to work in normal job for even cryptocurrency to survive. You can only proclaim cryptocurrency for creating awareness but not except everybody to partake in it. Also remember the way bounties are programmed this period,  the lesser the participants the more your rewards.

Re: Do you think that the HODL approach is good bitcoin?
by

Holding is actually favourable to the owners at the long run,  it most times generate high profit. But It sometimes not too good for the markets.  If everybody decided to hold there will be a short supply of coins to the markets there by causing scarcity of coins. Which the big whales can manipulate by crashing the market price to force vulnerable people to sell.

I like an exchanges that easily use, where you can easily locate trade on it without any form of difficulties. Also an exchanges that has low transaction fees with fast interexchanges transactions. I also like exchanges that has good security features and offer some sort of incentives like voting of a coins to get listed freely and an exchanges that has good staff supports and efficient customer services.
All these make up a good cryptocurrency exchanges.

Take the advantage of the fallen price of coins and buy as much as you can avoid. When the market is down, is the best time to buy more into cryptocurrency but you have to have It in mind that you are investing for a long period of time.  Because market might not bounce back to normal at the moment. But hopefully things will soon change and you reap the benefits of your investments if you can be so patience for that.

You are right,  most of the ICO find it difficult to even achieved their softcaps which make them always extend the ICO.  This is mostly due to alot of scam ICO going around which makes majority of investors so skeptical about investing in ICO now.

Re: How can a goverment trace you have BTC?
by

on 31/08/2018, 16:03:58 UTC
You can only be find out through your identity. You will be careful in making transactions with an exchanges that demand submitting your personal details for KYC. You will also be careful in engaging in bounties programs and airdrop that demand KYC also. You should not reveal your identity to about your involvement in bitcoin to anybody. Just be careful you will be good because bitcoin usage is very anonymous, so is not that easy to identify a bitcoin holder.
