Didn't bother to read through any of the other posts since they're most likely shit anyway, but....

Here is an idea:

Step 1: Partner with a site like classicreload.com or any of the other classic game sites out there

Step 2: Start moving games out of their existing delivery mechanism into LMO

Step 3: Huh?

Step 4: Profit!

payouts on official pool will get paid but do take a good bit of time.

The problem now is that pools aren't staying in sync with the network and fall behind... probably due to the daemon locking up or something along those lines.. pretty common issue on new coins. Pool operators need to restart daemons periodically.

What I find hilarious is that you're asking for a taxpayer-funded government law enforcement to come in and use taxpayer dollars to retrieve your stolen/missing crypto upon which you probably would never have paid taxes anyway?

You shouldn't have trusted stocks.exchange to begin with. At minimum they just have bad technical problems and are trying to find their asses with both hands and a roadmap.... and at worst they're out-right thieves. Either way, with newer exchanges you NEVER ***EVER*** deposit any kind of real money into it.... and if you have to unload a bunch of money

DO IT IN SMALL INCREMENTS.

Hopefully lesson learned... A) don't expect anything out of your government, B) don't trust Stocks.Exchange until they demonstrate they can be trusted both technically and ethically and C) if you have to use Stocks.exchange then trade crypto in small amounts and get it the hell out of there ASAP.

Why go to the FBI? Isn't the stock market regulated by a specific govt body? Are you talking about a specific broker?

Because i cannot tweet the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network #FinCEN but you can #FinCEN, stocks.exchange will appear soon on tweeter with the #FinCEN

I tweeted just for the beginning.

Scamming people still a crime dude. No one at the FBI is giving a single fk if it's regulated or not olol

they gonna learn who im

The only thing that will bring ITNS price back up is a better, more reputable, exchange.

What do you think will bring back up ITNS price?

Good memes about ITNS mooning and lambos

Update RE XMR rebase - sync appears to be finally stable (it was falling off after periods of time due to issues with fees and TX sizes), pool APIs are communicating properly with the daemon. Both legacy CLI and GUI clients were updated this evening to include a mechanism to export secret keys, which can then be used to import the "old" ITNS wallet into the new XMR-based wallet. Mind that any "old" ITNS wallets imported into the "new" XMR-based software will NOT be able to be restored via 25 word seed, as they were not generated in a word seed compatible fashion. You must make a new wallet in 1.4.2.1 or later (pre-release at the moment) to take advantage of word-based seed restoration.

1,000 People Own 40 Percent of Bitcoin Market
Easy to understand why the price is volatile. Could collapse soon or rise really really high in the next 5 years.

yes and even less people own even more larger persentage of ethereum market this is type of thing that happen in world , smartest people adopt first and people who are with mental challenge adopt last . in this world majority of people not so smart so ratio always will be like this with every coin

Hey who do you think you're calling mentally challenged???

Hello,

Here is modified version of my monero-stratum for Aeon: https://github.com/sammy007/monero-stratum/tree/aeon

This is personal solo mining stratum for your farm, you only need it if your daily pool payouts are equal to amount of several blocks rewards or you are mining for fun (don't care about big variance hits).

https://camo.githubusercontent.com/0f3022209e93098582afa467c4c3a5d7d6045ffe/68747470733a2f2f63646e2e706272642e636f2f696d616765732f6a525533714a6a38332e706e67

Why solo mining is necessary you can read in my old post https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@sammy007/solo-mining-monero-for-fun-and-for-the-greater-good

The installation instructions are pretty straight forward if you will follow README.

PS: I didn't perform full test on testnet and obviously I have no hashrate to test it on mainnet, so please if you are tech savvy do it and let me know if blocks are accepted correctly. I am 99.99% sure it's ok, because it's a port of already well-tested monero-stratum.

Good luck.

Just installed this - miners connect OK and shares get sent OK - just two problems:

1. I can't get into the web interface even though it prompts me for a username/password
2. I get an error about being unable to get a new block template.

Anyone have any ideas?

1. You need to have the "www" folder in the current path in order to render the web interface.
2. I'm not sure about that, maybe sammy007 can answer? What is the error message exactly?

Thanks stoffu that helped a lot.

I agree with > $2 sentiment. But disagree with less than $5.
For example a useless shitcoin called Verge has 3x market cap than Aeon. Aeon offers real privacy and literate community of users and developers. Verge offers nothing but army of brain damaged people.

Bittrex wallet is online now.

Quote
The less than $5 comment was with the bittrex wallet closed - it's open now so that adds another positive variable though I do think hitbtc wallet might be down for maintenance?

Who cares? Hitbtc volume is ~0 BTC. It's mostly IOU scam exchange.

Quote
I think aeon's price, simply due to its mission and even its current ability to achieve that mission, is worth significantly more than $5

Yes.

Quote
As to the Verge observation: I think Aeon is a real coin with very useful/practical goals. Verge looks like a coin that aims to provide a lot of the same things xmr/aeon etc does but it looks like it does it in a way that is very superficial.

it's a bitcoin fork with bolt on tor. Blockchain is transparent. But there is an army of brain damaged people.

Quote
I know nothing of Verge coin other than what I read in the last 5 minutes googling it though I understand its approach (I think).....
It sounds like Verge gives the user a false sense of security but Verge can "say" that it's "secure" because it uses a "secure" connection mechanism while not telling you that what is being written to the blockchain isn't even remotely secure.
...

Right.

I picked up on HitBTC smelling scammy with the broken English-sounding verbiage on the page and the site calling coins "Instruments;" however, it's one of the "parts" of the aeon ecosystem at this point so it needs to be factored IMO only because when someone in the market asks "what exchanges are aeon listed on?" it would invariably have to come up. That's my reasoning anyway...

So we have a functioning XMR-Lite with real exchange support since the wallet re-opened on btrex... maybe time for more ecosystem development?

Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems to me that if aeon is to be XMR Lite then there should be more overlap in the XMR/Aeon usage and mining ecosystems? i.e. single wallet, single miner etc that can do both?

It's like saying that the .380 ACP (Verge) is the same as the .357 sig (XMR/Aeon) because they shoot the same projectile... ask the US secret service if they agree with that assessment.

Also I would think the tor/vpn type approach would create a lot of unnecessary connection overhead.....
edit: Thought about it a bit more... wouldn't tor approach also be redundant if you're already under a VPN?

Anyway, at the end of the day it comes down to market education... and that can happen the easy way (discussion and debate) or the hard way (getting caught with your pants down).

Just my $0.02...

I think looking at the value proposition of each coin as well as the friction points that stand in the way of reaching its stated goal (technical, adoption related due to government etc) and where the price is in relation to the previously mentioned points.

And then of course there is common sense...  Smiley

Re: [AEON] Aeon Speculation

I think the fact that the btrex is, essentially, a completely isolated market for AEON is causing major price distortions (in both directions) though I do think the overall pump is due to increased interest in the coin.

I don't think anyone can really even speculate on aeon pricing until the wallet opens back up on bittrex. But my gut is that aeon is worth more than $2 but less than $5 at this point.... It has value and is a viable coin.

potentially major short-lived arbitrage opportunity once the wallet opens back up though!

Edit: clarification... I think it's worth more than 2 but less than 5 at this point prior to any rebase... after that who knows.
