I would not go with EOS  it is staying on the 10$ for long time and I don't see it growing much in future.

in fact, I was thinking buying some SIACOIN. Seems to be a good project. and Oyster Pearl, too

Hello,

Any idea about SIA?
Read lots of things, and it seems a very good project, and some good potential for growth.

any thought about it?

thanks!

Take a look at Voise and Nobile and Flash. I think they are able to explode in the next few days Smiley

interesting, thanks :-)
But I really think I need to create an account on Cryptopia!

not a bad idea, in fact.
Take my investment back, and just engage my benefits

But what coins invest in?

X1000?
Seems a little bit over-promising, don't you think? ;-)

thanks guys.
EOS, I was definitely interested, but I'm not sure about the potential growth.
XLM, the same -not really sure. DO you really think it can still rise?

And yes, I got a look on REQ.
But also on Siacoin and Digibyte : some thoughts about those 2?

Thanks!

From 3.5K€ to 14K: now what?

Hi all,

I am interested in blockchain and in crypto-currencies since early september. And everyday, I'm angry against myself not to have tried to understand the tech and the interest of both blockchain and cryptos before... but what is done is done.

So, I've invested some euros in multiple projects (and I prefer to speak about projects rather than currencies: because I invest in tech and projects, and it's not always about currencies...).
My holdings are now as follows:
ARDR - 5.73%
ARK - 1.19%
BTC - 35.93%
ETH - 6.71%
LSK - 11.86
LTC - 9.46%
OMG - 3%
XRP - 26.12% (was approx 10% when I first invested)
and I'm happy with the results (+284% in €, +114% in BTC)

I think I will hold all of them, but I'd like to invest in 2/3 new projects, maybe for 500€, and try the big bet (so, ready to lose)
I've read about Cardano, Verge, XSpec, EOS - interested not totally convinced (often because if I compare the marketcap and the actual price, I don't see how it make make x20, x50, x100)

What would you invest in? (I've got accounts on Kraken, Bittrex, Binance - so I won't go on other exchanges)

Thanks for your help

Hi guys,

On Bittrex, I can read the following message "Wallet Offline - Preparing for swap"
I guess it's related to IGNIS, but I don't exactly know what it means...

Any idea?

Thanks!

And I was thinking if it wasn't the right time to buy some GNO...

Any thouhgts?

Thanks!

Re: Sell Litecoin for Bitcoins?

Ehhmm, I would say that would be a good idea. Litecoin does not have as much potential upside as Bitcoin at the moment.
At the end, it depends on each individual. There is nothing wrong with the OP holding litecoin if he wants. It has shown some LITTLE BIT of progress lately and I sure will hold what I have for as long as I want cause I trust it so far. It might not have some potential as much as bitcoin since it was apparently created as the silver of bitcoin anyway, but that does not make it less better than some other altcoin.

The truth is that no one can predict the future, and the OP should just follow what his mind tells him so he can own up to his own decisions either litecoin moves up like speed of light eventually or it remains as it is.

That's what I finally decided to do: hold my LTC, buy some more of BTC... and wait and see :-)

What are your plans about bitcoin and LTC? What's your main goal, are you planning to hold for a longer time or you want to become a short term / day trader? Those two coins you are holding are good to hold and you just have to do nothing with it. But the idea of buying some more bitcoins is what you must do. As many news are coming out bitcoin's potentially growth is there and after some years the price today will be very far from the future's speculated price.

2nd option. Hold and hope for the long term (but not too long because as one said, at long-term we will all be dead 😬)

thanks for the advices.
In fact, I don't have only LTC and BT
I've also some ETH, LSK, XRP, OMG, ARK & ARDR
But, LTC represents 35% of my portfolio and BTC 19%
That's why I was wondering if I did not have too much LTC

I would sell 10 LTC and buy bitcoin before 25th October, then you can sell you bitcoin when it hits 5500 USD. So you can compensate some loss. How many loss do you have made? So we can calculate it better.

When I bought it, I had approx 15.2 LTC for 900€, so 58€/LTC - value is now 680€ (-23%) - not a huge loss, and I still think it can go up.
I bought them for mid/long-term: most of you (and what I read) seem to think I should keep them.
But I don't know what their prices could be in 2 years.

So maybe I will sell some other altcoins to buy BTC.
Or just buy BTC: not one, unfortunately, but maybe for 500€ (590$)

thanks,

Sell Litecoin for Bitcoins?
by
obinisti
on 04/10/2017, 09:57:08 UTC
Hi all,

I'm kind of a newbie in the crypto-currencies world, but quite fascinated in fact...
I started to create my own portfolio of currencies (small one, 2500€ to start), where BTC represents 20%, and LTC 35% (and some loss, right now :-( )
So, I wonder if I should not trade some of my LTC for BTC

Or buy more BTC if we think it should raise and hold my LTC...

Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Olivier
