Yes, they are have partnered together since both can benefit from each other through multiple ways. Centrality is creating the biggest DApp "store", while Sylo is one of the first blockchain based application that will have connected applications available.

If politics get involved in crypto that would be the end of every vision and principles this industry has. Politics is about owning and domination, something that crypto is against.

I like NEO as a project more than EOS. EOS was just a hyped ICO that didn't really bring anything useful to the table, like they created something for the people who will develop DApps but what about the average Joe?

I don't think the government sees any risk from Bitcoin, since it's not going to be used by the whole world in any time soon. One thing that government fears and thus inducting this manipulation theory is that crypto allows you to pay and transfer money anonymously which the government does not like.

It's a decentralized communication application as far as I understood from the ANN thread. This is a common move for platforms these days to move towards decentralization like in the case of Sylo.
