I always have used namecheap.com but am going to check out these other sites as well.

namecheap.com was the first to accept BTC, and they are a well established company, so they can probably be trusted.

I have slow DNS updates as well as of late. Used to be way faster so I am also considering other places.

They also have a suspicious army of fanboys who bark at people for not extolling their glory similar to the way Paycoiners do. And they think it's somehow honorable to not pay their writers in Bitcoin.

I think people are just passionate about them because of some of the shit that has happened. After hearing the editor tonight on this podcast I am really thinking they are doing the right things. It changed my opinion somewhat on them.

I see some people defend other sites with just as much passion including yours. Not that it is bad. People have opinions.

And still fucks like you persist with your "takes bribes" accusations. Here's an idea: try to bribe David Parker and let us know how it goes.

Didn't someone try that already?

Oh yeah, they found that "David Parker" takes bribes.

The original article is no longer on Medium.

Anyway, as was discussed in the Reddit thread, our Sponsored Stories are clearly marked as such. They're more like a textual ad up to 500 words long. They are not published with regular news, and don't even go into the regular mix of news stories. So whatever, if you call that bribing, even though it happens completely above-board, then your definition of bribing is clearly not in line with the actual definition, which describes something more behind-the-scenes and sinister.

Thank you for addressing it. Keep writing. You specifically and coin fire are my sources right now. I like your writing moreso than most on the site you write for and will follow you to other sites if you ever switch.

why exactly? CF has a proven track record

i would rather have them protect their sources to the fullest, also its not information that would make a difference

Listening to mike on this podcast and I actually take that back. He does a good job explaining why they do things the way they do.

what Mr. Gonzo lied and is dumping coins? im shocked  Grin

it will be interesting to see this new article from CF. hopefully it will shine some light on things like:
1.) did they dump paycoin to make profits for GAW
2.) did people inside GAW dump paycoin for personal gain (... tax fraud is not far fetched imo)
3.) both

and how systemic is it, will more than Mr. Gonzos head roll? team xpy continues this proud tradition till this day (cough 'foundation coins')?

ps: i wonder when cryptsy will delist poopcoin

Hey coinfire people. I believe the story because i sent an foia letter to SEC and got a response back that they can't turn over documents because they are protected.

Even still... something with less black boxes would go a long way. I get protecting your sources but even just a case number would be nice.
