Hi there,
there are obviouse some issues with withdrawing Stresscoin. This is really anoying if you have to wait every time until your withdrawn is handled manually. Is there a possibility to fix this soon. Out of 10 withdrawals 1 successful.

Yes, STS wallet has bug which does not allow to send certain amounts. Developers aware and we are waiting for fix from them. Meanwhile it's disabled on exchange.

I have a noob question. By my calculations POW will last around 25 months, after that how will the network continue to function securely since there is no POS?
That calculation seems wrong, did you take into account block reward decrease? Cryptonote uses a different emission formula.
So how long will POW last?

I think the free VAL giveaway is stopped and that's a positive news for the coin.
Actually free coins ruined the market totally. Hope it will revive soon. The dogecoin exchange price has increased a bit but still there is no buyer in bitcoin.
Hope people will understand and stop selling VAL at 1 satoshi.

The dev explained in his previous post that val is more suited for non-btc markets because of its limit of 2 decimal places. For btc market 1 sat ~ 5 val, so its not feasible there.

I do not understand 1 thing. If any coin looses its price floor everybody start dumping and price goes down again. Panic sell is cancer.
You can thank past scams for that and the volatility crypto carries. People are always scared of losing most of their investment.

As we all know internally the cryptos use integer raw units.
The decimal place is a formatting convention for humans and correlates with a denomination like milli-bit or micro-bit.
Using the same units from Bitcoin units
we need to scale the units to compare similar things.
For 8 decimal places let's compare:
DOGE with the Mega-Val : 1 MVAL = 1 000 000 VAL
For 2 decimal places let's compare:
VAL with the micro-Doge : 1 μDOGE = 0.000 001 DOGE
Let's take two recent trades on C-cex.com

What u explained makes more sense, so we get 1 val ~ 0.2 sats => 5 val ~ 1 sat. Actually what u thought would be a distinguishing feature of val making it down to 2 decimal places has instead become the limiting factor, keeping it away from btc markets.

Is this an "Air drop" coin? I will take some if it is.
On the bright side, if you've interest in this coin. It costs $0.0007 per coin, so if you find a penny on the ground you can get 15 CYG for it. Which means the airdrop is worth 79 cents.
Well, I think its all dumped by now anyway. Airdrop used to be be worth close to $5.

ive put tens of thousands of xvg into the faucet.vergecurrency.com.. its not often people just give away coins to them..
Yeah, but isn't the whole purpose to use the ad revenue to replace the coins and then scrape a bit off the top?
You can't adblock in a standalone app.
I think there's some adblock app that can block adds in mobile apps.
