This gave me a good idea. We all know altcoins are full of scam devs/team. SMAC team should put all the coins bought in the buybacks in a single SMAC address. You gave the public address to everyone to see/watch if SMAC team is telling the truth and not reselling the coins they've bought under the radar. So the new people will see how amazing the potential of SMAC is because they will see how big the % of all the buybacks is versus total coins.
Anyone against my idea? If so, why?

Hate to chime in, but in the May 17 newsletter, it was stated that: "The SMAC team has
been working very hard on developing the marketplace and it is coming along.
We are expecting it to be released within the next two weeks" and that was over 3 weeks ago.
In fairness, big projects almost always run behind schedule, and no doubt the Marketplace is a big project......but it would be nice to at least get an idea of how things are going (and maybe an updated timeline?).

The boys need more Twitter accounts... We need more marketing... newsletters are nice but we need more than that... We need more action, they have proven that they can handle the accounts...

Guys, I am getting really nervous about the low volume here. I know we are all excited about what the future holds for SMAC, but it won't hold any future if it gets delisted due to low trade volume!
Same here but this is the reality of SMAC. Low supply, strong hands. This will be the first time in history of Alts that a coin will see his price grow up without Pump and Dumping as some like to do (mark my words and relook at this at end 2015). Put that hat Bob.
A big % will be due to buybacks' buys.
I spoke to Richie from Bittrex (btw the best exchange IMHO for everything including security) and basically he said that he can't do an exception but: "we're looking at ways to better set those thresholds"

XAUcoin is not on cryptsy.
You are talking about another coin who uses the ticker "XAU".
If you want to trade XAU, go on Yobit or Alcurex.

Hey i dont understand it says that there are only 2.1 million coins but on coinexplorer it says there are 2.6 milion, can somebody clarify please?
The dev said the explorer had a problem, look his post on March 25th on page 14.

Not sure if you guys know about Archcoin, but they are another coin that plans to use profits from their company to buy their coins off the market. Anyway, I bring this up because it appears that they will be executing "market buys" which means, if I am not mistaken, they will be buying directly from the Arch sell walls.
I realize awhile back I was arguing in favor of buy walls (instead of market buys), but just hear me out...
If SMAC decided to use their profits to buy off the SMAC sell wall, and let's say they made 5 btc this month...well that would immediately push the price up to 30,000 satoshi and I'm pretty sure it would get SMAC noticed pretty damn quickly! Plus, if people knew that each month a market buy would be executed with whatever money was generated that month, well I do think people would be falling over themselves to buy.
I obviously trust what the team is doing so please don't take this as advice, but rather I just wanted to throw it out there as something to think about.

SMAC TEAM should buy from the "Sell" orders so the price will go up!! and they should keep the coins and not dump them back into the market!!

I have to say the first buyback was a good move. A crazy guy dumps 23138 $SMAC @ 8446 satoshis.
1/30 of the coin that we won't see soon again on markets. We can't expect better when we want to shake weak hands.
Maybe the second/third buyback will be a good move to set low buy order instead of eating the sell orders to again shake weak hands and see 3/30=1/10 of the coin in the hands of SMAC Team instead of pumpers/dumpers.
But I think that the third/fourth buybacks and the others after will be a good move to eat the market, to shake things up a little bit. We know that the team/coin is doing well but outsiders don't. They know it by the price.

I'm so glad to put a lot of small buy orders before the price surge and they all get filled lol!

Make a buy order and hope that someone dumps their coins to you! that's what i do...
But not too much dumping going on at the moment, perhaps people are beginning to realize this coin could be worth something!

I don't understand the supposed bug enough to know if it harm me or not.
All can I say is since March 10th I receive about a number really close to 1% of interest per day for staking.
The wallet connects sync fast and run it since 11 days with no problem.
So where's the bug?
