Re: What would be the possible impact of BTC in the economy of a country?
by

on 07/11/2017, 11:37:48 UTC
Just wanted to know people ideas on what is the good and baf impact of BTC  in the economy of a country. I am glad to hear different views regarding this matters and get some ideas from the tenured people in this forum. Your opinions/views are highly appreciated.

Regards,
I think the bitcoin has a great impact to the economy of the country. Because bitcoin created many jobs for those who are unemployed. Bitcoin created many opportunities to many people to earn more money.
But currently the bitcoin users are consider as less than 2% then how can we suppose that it may have good impact on the economy of a country? I would like to say that it may have impact on the financial status of a single person ,but as a  whole it may only be possible when the users of bitcoin will increase and most of the people of a sate use bitcoin or adopt bitcoin, which make take decades because bitcoin is in its early stage and most of the people even do not have any idea about bitcoin.
Just see he economy of those countries who are already using this coin their development rate is much better than those who are avoiding its legalization and on top of it this coin is best known to boost economy and this has happened and this coin bring business to the region and that will give huge boost to the economy and more of it btc will give stability to its using regions and bitcoin will be coin of future,

Re: Do you need licence to open up an online Bitcoin Casino?
by

on 01/11/2017, 12:48:11 UTC
Hi Guys,

I was researching the idea to open up an online casino way back (2-3 years ago), that time it needed all sort of licensing from the country it would operate from, how does it work with a bitcoin casino?
some casino software sites claim no licensing needed?

Thanks
pete

I believe that it's basically the same thing it doesn't matter the type of currency people will use to do the gambling as long as it is a casino, you will have to license it and there is no two ways about it.
Yes because one cannot rum casino without special permit from the government and for that he will have to obtain a license. I think that this rules will be there in online casinos because gambling is gambling if offline or online. License is must and there must be rules for all the gamblers to gamble on a specific site as there are rules of gambling offline and in regular casinos. No one can violate the rules and policies of the casino.

Re: losing 50 bitcoins gambling
by

That's a big money on today's current price, I regret that if I'm on the situation of niagwai and it will be better for me if I'm not going to share my losses. That will make me feel bad all the time and I can't recover immediately with as the price of bitcoin is still pumping.
Definitely this is a huge money that this person just have lost in casino. There are hundreds and thousands of the peeps who are just wanting to make bitcoins as much as they can. And they end up getting only some portion of bitcoin. And see here, this person just have lost 50 bitcoins. I must say this person have to live again and he should be awake from this much dangerous sleep.

If you can lose that much money by gambling, I think you're a very rich man. If you lose that much money and still relax, it means you do not have to worry about anything because you still have a lot of money. It's just that if you lose and want to return the money, you should work to get the money back. Do not expect gambling to return the money. Let's be a realistic person, gambling depends on luck. You want to hang that big money for gambling? Seriously.

It would be better if you saved that much money in your Bitcoin wallet. Only then will you be able to profit a lot, for the next few years instead of having to hand it to gambling.
No it is not possible for me to bet 50 bitcoins I don’t have 50 bitcoins. 50 bitcoins in my country means 26000000 of my local currency. Do you ever guess that I can bet such a huge amount of money? Never. If I had 50 bitcoin I will be the richest man of y locality but it is not possible for the persons like me.

I can never think of gambling 50 bitcoins if I have ever earned. Hard earn money cannot be lost so easily in gambling. Don’t even think of it.

Re: Did you learn from your gambling mistakes?
by

on 01/11/2017, 11:52:42 UTC
Oh well i keep repeating the same mistake on gambling, i become greedy everytime i win and always doubling everytime i loss my bet. It's really hard to control ourself on gambling, it feels like my next bet will 100% win but nope you lose again and repeat.

It sounds like you are playing more for the rush of taking a risk then for profit ---> if the rush is what you are playing for then that's fine because that's what you'll get.  But, you have to understand that the rush is that feeling you get BEFORE the results of the game are realized.  Slow, consistent profit taking is boring, but it adds up in the long run.  Sometimes that "rush," that momentary feeling of elation, is temporarily worth the loss ---> but in the long run, it's a terrible practice.
I have learnt a lot from my mistakes while gambling. I am not interested in so much gambling but I think time will teach you these tricks win the game. Success is due to the experience and skills and these both need time to learn about.

I think that if someone has both of the above mentioned techniques then he will definitely win. He will mistake several times but one day he will be perfect in his tricks.
Of course I have learnt a lot from my mistakes in gambling. I am not interested gambling a lot, but I think time will teach you these tricks to win the game if you regularly gamble. Success is due to the experience and skills and these both need time to learn about.

I think that if someone has both of the above mentioned techniques then he will definitely win. New gambler will make mistakes several times but one day he will be perfect in his tricks and win the game.

Re: How to make your first bets safely
by

on 01/11/2017, 11:24:56 UTC
No pain no gain !
Even if you gamble with care, you still able to loss or just make small profit.

I'm suggest if you want to gamble just make sure that you're prepare for lossing rather than winning !

There is no way for betting safe in a gamble,if you wins you can make more money or it will be your fatal bro.
But there are some ways available for not losing your all investment.Make sure you have time and money limit on gambling to reduce yiur losses in gambling.

I think there is a one way that is, pick only the low odds to bet then your winning chances will be high.
I think there is no safety is gambling just care needed. You should be careful while gambling because of the old gamblers who use different tricks to win the game. You should avoid gamble with the old players. I will also suggest you to bet as much as you can afford.

If you bet a lot of money in one bet and you lose then you will be more upset, so it is better to gamble in your reachable money. by this way you will be able to bet again and again and can try your luck several times with less money.
Many people think like me that gambling is not good and if anybody wants to gamble then he should play as much as he can afford, because new gamblers seldom wins the bet. Mostly he loses because of the tricks and techniques used by expert gamblers.

The safety is only this not to gamble beyond your limitations and should be in a limit. As the time passes you will learn gambling techniques and you will become an expert of gambling.

Re: If bitcoin can be used in gambling. Is it possible to use it casino?
by
offlinedragon
on 01/11/2017, 08:53:36 UTC
Yes it is possible but i did not read any news yet or announcement of any famous casino's that are accepting bitcoins as their bet. Maybe they will implement a kiosk where everyone can exchange their bitcoins into real cash and buy chips in their place.
Yes of course it will be used in casinos. Casinos are the sign of gambling and when bitcoin will be used in gambling then it will also be used in casinos. If I gamble I will go to casino and I will use my bitcoin for gambling and the place will be casino.

Gambling and casinos are builtin with each other. It is out of sense that bitcoin will be used in gambling but not in casinos. No doubt bitcoin will be used there.

I do not think so. If bitcoin is not accepted in casino because bitcoin is for the cyber network. Instead of going to the casino, people can bet on the internet without any problem or trouble. There is no rule in betting with bitcoin because there is no way the people can trace out who are you and how can you gamble with bitcoin
Why not and for the gamblers using bitcoin is the most safest and easy way to use their money without any fear of legality. They will have no cash money in their pockets and they will be so relax and comfortable while gambling. I think for the gamblers the use of bitcoin is a blessing and they will definitely enjoy this opportunity of using their bitcoin wallets for their bet. Cashless casinos in the future.

Re: Would bitcoin help teach kids about saving?
by
offlinedragon
on 01/11/2017, 07:52:18 UTC
That depends in your cousins if they know that spending to much is bad then they will be fine cause bitcoin and altcoins are only a currency that is used to send payments. Users can do whatever they like into it but if you teach them that saving crypto currencies or altcoin will make them rich then they will probably save it.  Just teach them the importance of saving especially in the world of crypto currency.
Kids learn from their elders, how they are saving and investing and the best place for their learning is bitcoin world. I mean if I invest in bitcoin and tell my son that I have bought some digital currency which is not only a digital coin business but also like a regular currency.

I can use my bitcoin anywhere in the world for purchasing anything. My kid will definitely take keen interest in bitcoin and to invest in bitcoin he will try to save money.

Re: Bitcoin Are Now Used in Crimes
by
offlinedragon
on 01/11/2017, 06:56:42 UTC
Yes, nowadays it’s being used in crime, they buy and sell online and pay by bitcoin. Because it’s untraceable. So police can’t get clue to caught them. I think it’s dangerous.
that's true because bitcoin does not use the original identity of the owner. that's why bitcoin is used as a tool for crime. but not all those who have bitcoin is evil. only irresponsible people who damage the good name of bitcoin.
In my opinion, if you using Bitcoin to evade taxes from the government, I think you are also the criminal. Especially, you are using it for business, that is the reason the government never want to accept Bitcoin is legally because they can not manage it. We need to actively pay taxes and declare our assets, revenue in Bitcoin, it is necessary to helps Bitcoin becomes fresh.

I have to agree with this. There is an amount of work on our part to do to help de-stigmatize bitcoin. Being more transparent with it would serve that end.
Yes I agree with this and the reason is obvious and that is the owner of bitcoin holder is unknown to everyone. Nobody knows from where he earned money for investment in bitcoin and for what purpose he will use his bitcoins. The terrorist can easily transfer their funds to any country without any fear and obstacles. They will use bitcoin wallets for this purpose, and from there they will convert in any currency they want.

Re: Why bitcoin so expensive?
by
offlinedragon
on 01/11/2017, 06:26:06 UTC
Bitcoin is so expensive if it will be converted to my country's currency it will cost hundred of thousands.
Why bitcoin worth that much even its only a cryptocurrency can someone give me an idea.

Before it was just same price as a 1 dollar I think?( Correct me if I'm wrong) but now it is worth 6,073.84 as of 12:48 pm 10/31/17 here in my country. So how it became so expensive? Simply because years had past and the popularity of bitcoins have increased and became widely used globally so obviously the demand for this coins have increased drastically and the price will surely increased as the demand increased. Just think about the tulips on 17th century, the Dutch golden age in the history, the tulips became popular that it cost much more expensive.
Bitcoin is so expensive because of the huge investment from all over the world. the more the investment the high will be the price. When there is a little bit decrease in investment the price of bitcoin falls because the market value of bitcoin is due to its investment and with the huge investment the price will automatically go up. It is the rules of economics. When the demand for anything increases the price of that particular thing also increases.

Re: How are you calculating and keeping track of profits?
by
offlinedragon
on 01/11/2017, 05:56:46 UTC
There are a lot of ways to track your profits. I mainly use altpocket for my altcoin investments (I can directly import my buy-sell logs from bittrex, this makes my life a lot easier when it comes to tracking my investments). And on my mobile device I use blockfolio to track my bitcoin investments.
If you don't have a mobile device or don't want to rely on a 3rd party service you can also do it the old-fashioned way and use excel. But that requires more time and some excel skills.
I just keep an eye on the market of bitcoin, which side it is bound. I just calculate roughly with myself and not a special program for my investment. When the price goes up I realize that my investment grows and when there is fall in the price my investment reduces. Just this and nothing more, because keeping records and maintain figures I think is not good for mental relaxation. Therefore I never took it serious.

Re: Is Bitcoin really secure?
by

on 31/10/2017, 19:03:54 UTC
Bitcoin is actually secured properly. No one even dares to create a fake coin. All transactions here on the internet is well secured. What makes it not secured is up to its users. It's up to how they take care of their account so that no one can hack it. What's good about its security is that it also protect and secure the transactions of its users.
Probably yes , your thoughts are positive and right about bitcoin . It is having high security and multiple benefits .

The most attractive area about bitcoin is its security , most people are here because they feel safe with bitcoin . Its quite impossible to hack account here . All you have to do is to be keen and careful about your account.

I’ve heard about bitcoin 3 years ago but in the beginning I didn’t take it seriously. Now I know that it is our future.
People are in seek of comfort and quick ways to be rich to meet their financial needs . Bitcoin is massively favored and is reducing the use of bank with time. The favor and hunger of people for bitcoin can be a reason for it. The banks may be feeling a threat from crypto that is why they are opposing it.

In a short time it has created a lot of market turmoil and controversy, but bitcoin is still attractive to a large number of investors.
Indeed this has happened . Still people are favoring bitcoin because they are in search of ways which will help them in earning more in quick time . And bitcoin is providing a golden chance to its users. And in future it will raise even more and be able to compete the well accepted currencies of the world.

Re: What would benefit bitcoin more?
by
offlinedragon
on 28/10/2017, 15:59:55 UTC
What do you think will benefit it?

I think the acceptance of governments will be the decisive factor for the development of bitcoin. Because every time a country accepts bitcoin, the market will be expanded, and that's a good opportunity for bitcoin to grow.
Indeed government of each and every country is a representation of the public of that place so you are hundred percent right that a drastic change will be visualized if the government accept bit coin as legal crypto currency because the people of that country will feel free to invest more and more in bit coin without getting frightened or worried.
This will also favor bitcoin but the main thing is to arrange public seminars to draw attention of common people toward this profitable coin by this way there will be much more investor coming toward this coin and the advertisement through proper way will also give benefit to the bitcoin and on top of it if people will start using it government will have to bend the knee in front of mighty bitcoin and that will be epic.

Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?!
by
offlinedragon
on 28/10/2017, 15:25:21 UTC
They keep saying  that because nothing is permanent on this world i know you know it nothing could last forever  i think bitcoin will last long but this forum i think wont last long enough because the governments can take this down any minute or anytime they want . And laso they dont the true potential of bitcoin yet then doubting it will last long enough for them
Just because of their negative thought towards bitcoin and crypto. And they don't want to refresh their minds and be open-minded to find a better opportunity. Even though we can't sure it will be forever but for having this, is a wonderful experience in our life.

Because there are some people who can't see past the negativity thrown at Bitcoin. I am grateful and thankful bitcoin was introduced to me because it opened my doors on opportunities. Yes we don't know until when bitcoin will be here but let's all savor it now that we all are profiting from the cryptos.
I can hardly find any reason which can convince me in supporting this argument that bitcoin is dead. If we look at the graph of bitcoin, we’ll get to know that bitcoin is making such a good reputation with each passing day. Moreover, the number of investors who are investing in bitcoin is continuously increasing. I am very much sure that bitcoin holds a very bright future.

Re: Should I buy bitcoin now?

on 27/10/2017, 14:55:16 UTC
New user to the forums and new to Bitcoin overall, just looking for some advice. My friends have bought packs with USI-tech a few months ago when the price was around £2.5k per coin. I'm looking to get into it but just wondering when to go for it.

I've been waiting for the price to fall which it kind of has now, do I wait it out even longer for it to fork again in November? Or do I just put some money into it now. I've been doing a lot of research before I do anything but just want some opinions on here please.
Yes you should buy bitcoin now, because the value of the bitcoin now i not so high and from that in the future from time to time the value of the bitcoin becomes higher and higher, that is why it would be helpful and effective to buy bitcoin now for you able to have so much money in the future.
I think there is specific timing for buying or selling your bit coin so I also recommend buying more and more bit coin now because the rate and prices are continuously increasing with the passage of time I mean the price of today is less than the price of tomorrow.

Re: Trading VS Bitcoin!
by

on 26/10/2017, 15:19:06 UTC
Crypto has its risks as well beneficts, use bitcoin for trading is one of the best sources and easy way to make more money, sure isnt an easy task and not all of them will lead into the sucess and profit. There are a few altcoins being able to loose and recover while others just get dumped and left or used to pump and dump, each  person should always search about the coin and the use of it.

Trade in alternative coins is very dangerous. Especially if you do not have experience. Therefore, I recommend newcomers to trade only bitcoin and some coins from the TOP-10
In contrary, for me trading is one of the best source of income because we all know that alternative altcoins are worth it to buy. Some traders are earnings profit double or triple of their capital, that's why more people are encourage to join in exchange sites. definitely I'm one of the traders but I have lack of knowledge to be one of the best traders in bitcoin community.

If someone getting profit it means someone else is suffering losses. You could be on both sides with almost equal probability. Be careful my friend! Don't let greed to blind you Smiley
True, this is why trading can be so difficult, most people never make the realization that in order for a person to win someone must lose, and when you take into account spreads and the fact that you need commissions that means that you are already losing money before you make your first trade, this creates a felling of urgency among traders to try to win as fast as possible but most of the time that leads you to even more losses.
You guys are the ones that don’t get it yourselves– someone must have to lose for others to earn, without it, the company running the platform will close down. Trading is good when you win, but the day you lose, you will feel like banging your head on a table and ripping it apart. Well, depending on how much you lost.

Re: When to buy and sell bitcoin
by
offlinedragon
on 26/10/2017, 14:49:40 UTC
Positive market conditions mean there is a tendency Bitcoin Prices continue to rise throughout the day. For example this morning the price is 3.7 million, a few hours later 3.800.000 next 4.100.000 and so on. In this condition Bitcoin trade tends to be easy. Why ? because you simply buy at a cheap price and sell it at a price slightly higher than the purchase price.just enjoy the profit until the market rise is finally saturated then you should stop buying and wait for the price to fall back.
For buying, I would say you should buy whenever the price is down to a low point, cause you can buy at a high price and won’t gain anything at last. When it comes to selling, there are no rules– you make the rules yourself– sell whenever you believe is the right time.
