The centralized exchange will most likely need a KYC. The decentralized exchange will not.

I can verify the scam token discussed in this thread (Ohni.io) is in fact a scam token.

Ohni.us, is not a scam token and there is no evidence that we are. If anyone has any claims that we are (other than the one and only employee of Ohni.io), please address them on our ANN at Ohni.us/ANN.

While we know this is confusing, we can not do anything about it. We hope you understand we are not the cryptocurrency this thread is calling a scam and we have never locked a single account and never will.

Most of our team was a team member of Ohni.io however we moved on for various reasons and created this new Ohni. We did offer a token swap for the first 4 months however that is now closed. We will be airdropping to all holders of the Ohni.io token soon when gas prices go back down.

We are not the only decentralized exchange. We are the only 100% decentralized exchange.

This may get a bit technical, but I will try to keep it easy to understand.

You see, all other DEXs I have looked at (the top 25) all rely on a centralized server to operate. This server holds the order books, transactions, etc etc.

This is why DEXs can have outages and hacks.

By migrating this server directly on the Ethereum blockchain, it will eliminate make us have no centralization over the exchange.

In short, while others claim to be decentralized, they still rely on some form of centralization and if that form of centralization were to be eliminated, the exchange would not be functional.

I think what he is trying to say is that bitcoin was breakthrough but Ohni will be another breakthrough. You can always have more than one breakthrough!

There are two Ohni tokens.

Here is why:

In March of 2018, the previous CEO had left Ohni. We continued to work on Ohni until he decided to start working on a different Ohni token by himself. He controls the old smart contract and that is why we launched a new smart contract. We had control of all other things (social media, website, etc).
About a week later, he contacted Twitter and our hosting provider claiming that the account was his and it was hacked while it was ours. Twitter and the hosting provider gave him access and are refusing to give access back to us. That is why our official domain is ohni.us and our Twitter is @OhniOfficial.

We understand that this is confusing and we deeply apologize. Unfortuantly, there is nothing we can do to stop him from causing confusion.
