Martin Armstrong's model is calling a bitcoin directional change in July. Looks like we might be right at or near the bottom. Kinda a funny time to sell seeing as how everything has been rising and falling as one asset class.

Komodo is a $100 per coin crypto, very cheap at moment.

It def feels as though komodo is swimming in a sea of me too. We have alot of duplication in the crypto world right now. Platforms devoted to smart contracts, platforms devoted to different chain relationships, platforms devoted to speed, platforms devoted to Ico, etc.

Many of these it appears have gotten some type of venture capitalist money and market themselves accordingly to the traditional venues, such as forbes, business insider, bank capital company this or that.

Eth has Vitalik, he already had a news platform and spoke in smart sounding buzzwords, then did speech after speech around the world. Add in his multimillionaire family and some goldmansaches stooges and you have institutional pumping of this product.

Just go down the list of projects that are hyped with big valuations and youll see a alot of wallstreet style money making big claims vs grassroots crypto ingenuity. If that is the difference, then the only way to compete nowadays might be to get some goldmansachs on board.

If komodo platform is like the swiss army knife of crypto in that it can do one of everything great, but the question becomes, how can it compete in a sea of the same thing when project xyz can just start up and say we are going to revolutionize crypto speed or ico or better whatever. It becomes information overload and then all of a sudden komodo is lost in a sea of me too as who has the time to research 60 plus blockchain projects.

Hype IS necessary. Hype through games, competition, prizes, community building exercises, beautiful girls, fancy cars, whatever. Vhs had more hype then beta, look how that turned out.

Personally, the single most important thing of komodo platform right now, in my opinion, is chips. I know its on the backburner no hype or updates page but man does it have the potential to be a rocketship and bring in many new people to crypto. Of course though, by the time it is ready, will 50 projects already be loudly advertising me too?

Looks like barterdex will hit it's 100,000 swap milestone this week.

And chips is nearly all released with almost 25,000 coins left to mine and has been holding steady at it's floor of around $.30

Komodo seems poised for a large jump up. Jl777 turn off your stabalization trade bot and turn on the rocket trade bot.

This seems to be more of a pangea whitepaper then chips whitepaper though.
So, is pangea also chips or just included? It would seem that they are intermingled yet still separate? Maybe im missing it but the exact nature of chips has yet to be revealed.

Lol, nah, I was trolling the genie, and he called me out. He might be a crusty fellow, but he is def more valuable then me. 

There is not much to say about chips yet, except it is getting closer to all coins minted. It def needs things organized and created similar to other projects though, and James has written that he would except community help with this. Though only James knows the whole picture at the moment so not sure how much the community can actually do. As James has made clear, updates will come infrequently. Although it would be great to post progress so we can share in the successes and cheer him on.



And of course I trust James 100% even if he makes me wait which drives me nutz on occasion.

It shouldn't be to hard to match what, $1600-$8000 volume , going on the dex.


Can you deposit chips straight to barterdex? Or is agama required as a first step? It seems to me agama is always required.

Also why did the community go dark about the last beer-kmd test, what happened? Was the test successful?

Edit. On another note, marketing should focus on barterdex being the most fair way to distribute coins. Ie. Whale resistance. Remember how many people bitched for years about the nxt distribution system, nem was even a direct result of perceived unfairness. This feature of barterdex I believe is a true hidden gem waiting to be realized and should be sung to the masses.

Seems now adays that most of the cryptos are moving insync. Though komodo should be ranked at around #33 not #43. That would put komodo back at $9-10. Bottom line seems to be the unwillingness of the team to push marketing to hard so as not to induce a pump n dump. Probably a good strategy, however there is always the beta vs vhs argument. Komodo, being beta in this example, has superior tech, could always lose due to lack of adoption. Any time you have to "educate" the public about a product vs a product that is simple you have an uphill battle.

Personally, I think it would make alot of sense for the team to engage with their community to explore various marketing strategies, competitions, ideas, etc.

(Props to the marketing team though, I can tell you Are ramping up material. Maybe by the end of the year or sooner it will have hit a critical mass)

Outlook bullish still.

Its just really hard to not be excited about the barterdex.
