It is looking too risky to invest in altcoins but those with a solid project with a use case will always stand out. I know some of them that am confident will recover even though they suffer some nose dive. I suggest you study the product well before investing in any coin.

The market does not move in one direction, there is always consolidations and corrections. There are many factors that determines the direction the market will go and understanding those factors can translate to money. Crypto have not performed well from the beginning of this year but I believe it is beginning to recover.

Thank you for this post, you have just said it all. I understand that the social media is littered with materials about trading and most of these are obsolete. What I do is to work out my strategy that will be in tune with present realities. I try to marry technical analysis to fundamental as both work hand in hand to govern the market. 

I don't any platform where profits from mining is guaranteed. More so, I am yet to hear a good testimony of a successful person who made it big from mining... all I hear are loses and scams. I like XYO and DAG because the duo have remained stable for a long time now. Their volume are pretty nice and the liquidity as well. I plan to hold these coins for a long time.

To be honest, the chances are very slim for newcomers like me. First, ICOs have been bastardised as 95% of the projects are shit projects or scams. Secondly, as a bounty hunter, it becomes more challenging earning reasonable amount these days as bounty participants are always cheated as the team do call their reward "free token". So it is becoming increasing difficult to earn reasonable amount that can make you call yourself rich from crypto.

It is just unfortunate that there are many armature in crypto and that is the reason for the rush to dump at the sight of any amount of dollars. People are so eager to settle for the short term small profits without considering the long term benefits of the product behind the coin. With this mindset, all of us will soon be out of business because without investors, the project will be dead.

Well your opinion is plausible but I beg to differ with you a little. Without patience, one can only make some few dollars from this market. Take for instance, if one had invested in a project like Ethereum and sold when it hit +20% profit and later realised it actually went up to +130,000% in profit, what will be his stand? The golden rule I use are:

1. Never buy a coin without a product
2. Never join pump and dump so as not to get burnt
3. Never jump into the market when there is a sudden spike in price
4. Never buy a coin you don't believe in.

With these rule, I buy and hold certain percentage for a long time and sell some for the short term and it has been working just fine.

I have heard so much about bull run and how newcomers fantasise about it but am yet to really experienced it as I am not too old in the system. Hopefully, everything is pointing in that direction with the consistent green market we have experienced in recent days.

Personally I don't see the rationale behind a celebrity token as same do not constitute any business idea to me. I wonder what will motivate someone to invest in such ventures. On the other hands, am still struggling to understand what the celebrity might want to accomplish by launching his own token.

This hacking is becoming a regular occurrence. Every new innovation has associated challenge so I guess this is one of the challenges the blockchain have to contend with. Last time it was myetherwallate.com that was under attack; exchanges are countless and the list continue. Am sure will overcome, we just have to be careful.

Polymath is a strong coin and the product is superb. If the idea of regulation sets in, this coin will be the next big thing in the market. I suggest you keep an eye on this.

SGPay is a wonderful coin to consider. The team is amazing and the product is superb. I suggest you take a look and coinmarket cap of this coin.

Etherium is at its worst level and if it will recover, now is the best time to invest. The use case of Ether is high so I feel it will rise again. What is not clear is when it will rise.

There is always risk attached to every business. Altcoins can be risky but they can also be a great way to invest. What is paramount is being careful in choosing the project to invest.

Everything is confirming the fact that this year will be red. The bear market we entered since have refused to end and many people are selling off their assets even at a loss. However, things can still change for good as surprises are possible.

The best way to trade the news is to use exchange that allow you use various options such as
1. Stop orders
2. take profit
3 stop loss
With the above three conditions, you set a stop orders with take profit and stop loss in place, a day before the news. With this you can make some cash no matter the direction the market goes as a result of the news... or cut the loss.

I am struggling to see what the proponents of this coin saw that informed their bias. Even though I see other coins taking this position and not OmiseGO,  I will keep an eye on the later.
