Re: How to sell Bitcoins and receive USD

Thanks for the replies.

Dumb question:  How does one send bitcoins from Blockchain to Coinbase?

In your dashboard on blockchain.info, there is a button "Send". In your coinbase account on the "Accounts" tab, there is a "Bitcoin wallet" row with a button "Receive". Once pressed, you'll see an address which you should use on blockchain.info as a value for "To" input in the window opened after your press "Send" button I mentioned before.
Hope it's clear.

How do you withdraw money from Bitcoin?

put to any exchange available in your country and exchange for fiat. Fiat is then can be either converted to your local currency. But to answer more specifically, you should provide the country or even ask in the country's forum section

I once found a campaign which allowed newbies, but the requirements where pretty high, what I cannot say about the payment Smiley
So as for me, it's better to earn higher rank and join really good campaigns

Bitcoin might drastically go down deep following the sudden surge in price. If am wrong you can correct my impression thank you.

Even if it drops significally, it will still go back up. We just don't need to panic. More panic leads to wrong decisions. So I will keep my Bitcoins until the future of cryptocurrencies will be known to all people.

Do you have any ideas how to identify that moment when "the future of cryptocurrencies will be known to all people"? Smiley

As you can see bitcoin is increasing and droped but increased again.

•What will you do if bitcoing got low from 10 000 to 8 000?

Hours ago I did not get any update that it gotten to 9000 and increased again

•I think its a sign that it will decrease any moment now. Will you see it or exchange it for another coin? Any suggestions and ideas?

I would buy more BTC at the low price. I did this yesterday when the price dropped from 11.5k to 9.7k.

Re: Is paper wallet public address safe for reuse?
by

read this to understand why they say don't "reuse" addresses: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Address_reuse

and remember than a paper wallet's main purpose is for you to store some bitcoin away in a safe place. some amount that you don't want to use. for example you buy/receive 1BTC and want to hold it for at least a year, you put that in paper wallet. it is not meant for receiving payments nor for spending from it regularly.

Much thanks for the link you sent. It fully answered the question and only proofs my worries.

No, he means that you simply import the adress of your paper wallet into blockchain.info (https://blog.blockchain.com/2016/05/31/how-to-use-watch-only-addresses/), although there isn't really a reason to.. You're not going to spend the funds anyway for a long time, right?

For some months I think. But I think it's common to sometimes withdraw a certain amount of money from the cold storage. So in case of pretty often manipulation with the same public address, the overall balance can be easily calculated. My concern is how we can "workaround" this? Or it's not possible and the only point is to really keep the private key safe?

I don't think that there is an issue in single wallet address. It just helps you to prevent trackers from tracking your financial information and activities. However, if you are worried about using single paper wallet address then you can save it to your Blockchain.info account as a watch only address and create another web wallet with the dynamic addresses to receive funds and then transfer to your paper wallet either directly or through a mixer to avoid others to track your information.

Don't see the why do I need to add the paper wallet's address as a watch-only address? As I understood, your suggestion is to first receive money with the online wallet, and then send them to the paper wallet myself. Such that only I operate with the paper wallet's public address directly? But this would double the transaction fees, as I know.

Many guides suggest using unique bitcoin addresses to receive bitcoins, what enhances the privacy of your wallet balance, and transaction history. For example, blockchain.info does it in such a way.
When I decided to learn more about paper wallets and create one for myself, I found out that there is only 1 public key to receive funds. So the question is, if it is ok to use 1 address for a paper wallet?

What are the disadvantages and threats of storing your cryptos in exchanges?
Btw, does wallet like nano ledger accept any amount of cryptos without having transaction fees?

The first question was already answered here: OP asked for a long-term storage and exchanges are more likely to close/be hacked/whatever what may lead to losing the money, as exchanges store your private keys. The answer to the second question I would like to know as well.

Good Day ma'am/sir,

I just wanna ask a further explanation about the formula " min(time * 14, posts), As to my side. I don't actually get the point.
And about the being active in forum (staying logged in), I've been active for almost half day and my activity still haven't counted another points.

I also dare to ask for clarification.  "Staying logged in", does it mean, you need to stay login and be active in browsing/surfing the forum?

Thanks in advance.

The time you are logged in has nothing common with your "activity" number. Activity only increases in case of posts. 1 post you made gives you +1 activity.

No one really knows if now or when is the right time to buy, simply because we really don't know how the markets will move in the future. Personally though, I really dislike buying in ATHs(all-time-highs) and I rarely do buy in ATHs. Though if you personally think it will go up in the future, then go ahead.

Well for several days the price is around 8.2k. Do you think it somehow may go down in the following days?

Can anyone tell me about what is bounty campaigns?

Bounty campaigns are used to draw attention to the product. By participating in bounty campaign you can receive stakes by meeting certain conditions set by a bounty program operator. As I know, bounty programs require from you to put their signature(text which appears under each of your post on the forum), use their avatar and post at least certain times per defined period.

Thus more you post, more people see your signature, thus more get aware of the product under the campaign.

Ask more, if you still have questions

you can find almost anything regarding to ranks here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178608.0

I myself tried to find any info about whether "total time logged in" matters on the topic you posted, but failed.
Looks like this value doesn't have real value as for me.

If this program is for newbies, why posts in Beginners thread are not counted?  Smiley As I understood, you would like to share the knowledge about the TOKENLOYALTY among beginners.

As we discussed in the team, that part of the training is to acknowledge the rules that are for the advanced users. So we are keeping this rule to avoid "spam-type" posts like "hello", "I was here first" etc.  Grin

Appreciate, that you spent time on my request. Thanks!

you get 5 bch for 5 btc, which means, you can sell all the bch for $6500(5x1300) and still keep the 5 btc.

thank you. Messed up with the math Grin You clarified everything for me.
Is it possible to buy BTC for BCH? As I understood, you can sell 5BCH for $6500 and buy BTC for that amount of money.

Would it be better to invest in a promising ICO or just flat bitcoin?

I would suggest investing in bitcoin if you want just invest and don't bother for a pretty long period of time.
To invest into promising ICO you should keep an eye on the project and monitor the token price. In other words, you should trade to get profit.

Re: Understanding impact of August fork

if you hold 5 bitcoin in your wallet on the snapshot time(august 1st), then you have 5 bitcoin and 5 bitcoin cash. they are totally independent so you can sell/send 5 bitcoin cash and still keep the 5 bitcoin. you should not add up the values because they have different values. currently 1 bch=0.17698500 BTC

Is that true, that you can exchange both 5 bitcoin and 5 bitcoin cash for the fiat? That means pretty much money, as 5bch = 5*0.1769 = 0.8845. 1 bch is $1300 so you end up with around 1000 dollars in fiat and still 5 btc?
