WRONG PROJECT - this thread is for the Hydrogen Platform

We added Hydro Protocol to the Cheddur app (https://www.cheddur.com)! This will allow new users to learn about Hydro Protocol and join the community. Cheddur allows you to link wallets, exchanges, and other services that support HOT so that new users can easily get started. You can also review the project and post your HOT addresses on your profile to receive tips/payments/donations in HOT from other users Smiley

Can others from the community please review the profile for quality and help add supported services? The more active the Hydro Protocol profile is (via user reviews and addresses), the higher it ranks in search results and the more likely newcomers are to discover the Hydro Protocol project!

If you are a member of the Hydro Protocol core team, you can manage the Hydro Protocol profile to respond to reviews, add/show off your entire team, update your profile information in real-time, and more! To manage the Hydro Protocol profile, follow the prompts within the app or contact us at support@cheddur.com for manual verification.

With 75% of the tokens locked up wouldn't pricing services in $Hydro help with price appreciation and liquidity (which would help raise marketing funds, partnerships, awareness, etc)

People need to know this is a solid team+company that is in this for the long haul.

$Hydro just tied up with a major insurer for the Raindrop authentication service.

Is the biggest threat to this project that Ethereum might not be able to scale to handle the amount of transactions/API calls that $Hydro will require with increasing adoption? Could someone point me to someplace this is addressed?

Is $Hydro going to be base protocol of the financial sector the way $Lif is planning to be for the travel sector?

Gosh, I didnt. Thanks for pointing that out. I actually followed a set of instructions from elsewhere, and only referenced point 6 here as it had to do with the xprv issue that you kindly clarified. I got the addresses from coinb.in and finally got my complete command configured. I tested it in offline mode as I don't have the chain synced yet and got the error "Method not found (code -32601)"....
I went online repeated all the steps and finally got "Complete" :  true     Smiley

I avoided having to sync the entire blockchain by broadcasting the transaction hash from https://btgexplorer.com/tx/send and I've got my BTG now!  Smiley

Thanks OP and HCP.

hi, I got to the last step for signing the raw transaction, but now get the error message:

Invalid private key (code -5)

The 1st private key starts with 'xprv.....' and I got it from the wallet text file. I tried the 2nd priv key and got the same error code. Its a 2 of 3 multisig wallet. Its a restored wallet with disabled 2fa.

You didn't follow the process correctly. You don't sign with the "xprv"... you need to create two standard wallets using the xrpvs... and get the private keys from those wallets... the private keys should start with either a "K" or an "L"...

Thanks, I made it up-to point 6 "Make a 2 new standard electrum wallets using the 2 xprv keys and find one of the addresses needed to sign your 2FA address in each of them."

Now, there are two wallets with different addresses starting with 1xxxx and no balance or history. Will signing with the key of any address do, or is there a way to figure out which 3xxx address corresponds to which two 1xxx addresses?

hi, I restored my multisig wallet and disabled 2fa in order to be able to claim Bitcoin Gold, however it seems as this was a 2fa address Coinomi is unable to import the private key and says there are no funds at this addess. And only 1 of the 4 explorers listed on the btcgpu.org site recognizes the address and shows a BTG balance.

Any suggestions will be much appreciated!

good news but for the price Airtoken go down on https://hitbtc.com/exchange/AIR-to-ETH and etherdelta.
this time for good take moment .
for few weeks this token can be raise again back to price ICO or more.
I agree,it's still undervalued, bought big bunch at 0.005 and continue buying at 0.01,next year-good profit Wink

Why are you so sure about this?)

Exactly. It's 75% down from ICO price (in ETH terms). Nothing bullish about that. Their team needs to do more than some AMA sessions.

Was this coin an airdrop to BTC holders initially? Wouldn't mind claiming it if so. First time I've heard of it.

So, for claiming BTX, I was able to get them by pointing my BTC electrum wallet to electrum.bitcore.cc and the coins showed up after some time.

Anyone know if that would work with BTG as well? And if so, what server do I point electrum to?

(Because of it being a multisig address I cant import the private key into Coinomi)

a project airtoken that I am curious about and really trusted. it was only at the very wrong time when the ico process started, and at a time when it was so wrong that it began to be processed in the etherdelta. I wish they had waited a little longer but they could not. We all know the situation of the market and we see. Under these conditions it would be a miracle that a new project can really survive. That's why the decline has taken place. many new projects have damaged 5x investors. I guess three to four months later we will be expecting some better days. i have 150k air tokens and i I really have to wait.

The problem is these guys doesn't know anything about the crypto and blockchain they don't even know how to market properly. Hence the rapid decline in price and trading volume, I can't even see any signs of the NDA they said about other exchanges

They are supposed to have VC backers and one would have thought those guys would support/guide this team. Expensive mistake - at least short term.

I am getting a new phone and was wondering how to move the 2fa to the new device. Will I need to restore the wallet, disable 2fa and then again enable? If so, will I need to pay again for the 2fa service?
That depends on what app you use for Google Authenticator... I use Authenticator Plus, it allows you to backup and restore all your "secret keys", so you can migrate to a new phone without issue. I'm not sure what backup options the "original" Google Authenticator app has... It was one of the reasons I started using Authenticator Plus...

You might also want to check out "Authy"... I've heard good reviews about that.

"Disabling" the 2FA wallet by restoring from seed DOES NOT disabled the 2FA secret in Google Authenticator... and when you restore and select "keep" it'll ask for the old code or make you reset it... so it *should* be OK... I'd highly recommend attempting to setup the new phone BEFORE you dispose of the old one so you can test it is OK.

Thanks HCP.

I use the default Google app and unfortunately it doesn't seem to have the option to restore secret keys for other accounts. Looks like I'll have to go the Restore route with the wallet and if it works then use Authy. Changing 2fa for all my accounts is going to be fun. Sad

CNET has an article on moving G authenticator
