[ANN] Raptoreum - POW (GhostRider) | ASIC And FPGA Resistant | Mainnet Is Live
by
oluaris
on 19/02/2023, 18:27:56 UTC

About Raptoreum

Raptoreum is focused on solving real world problems through innovation and Blockchain technology. We have real world use cases out of the box and will continue to expand on Raptoreums
uses on a continual basis through continued innovation and development. No corporate funding, no corporate direction, and that will never change.

What Problems Is Raptoreum Solving?

1.) Easy to use non fungible tokens, no coding knowledge needed. (roadmap)
2.) On chain trustless and automated exchange of assets and RTM VIA smart contract layer. (roadmap)
3.) ASIC and FPGA resistance through our GhostRider algorithm.
4.) 51% / double spend protection.
5.) Allowing the power of the asset platform to be utilized by DAPPS (smart contracts).
6.) Protection against Masternode network consensus manipulation.
7.) Scaling issues caused by smart contracts being built into blocks (think CryptoKitties) (we use Smartnodes for this)
8.) Encouraging mass adoption through ease of use not only direct through wallet but DAPPs.
9.) Removing hyperinflation issues due to coins locked in Smartnodes, custom tiering system for rewards and collateral.
10.) Futures - Lock RTM coins into an asset to be auto-released at a timestamp or blockheight.
11.) Instant spend (no waiting on confirmations), private send.

Mining

Raptoreums GhostRider algorithm is currently only CPU mineable but a GPU miner is expected soon.

Smartnodes

Smartnodes are used to handle smart contracts, and provide 51% \ double spend protection. In addition this allows:

- Larger allowed contract size
- Greater variety of programming languages can be used
- Removes the scaling issues and large increase in gas tx fees, such as are caused by large DAPPS (think CryptoKitties)

VOUCH

Received a vouch account from krs2.
I was able to specify a user ID and received the account along with the initial password, which Google asked me to change when I first logged in.
I can confirm that the google storage is unlimited (says "You're using 0 GB" with no mention of the capacity).
It comes with all the usual Google Suites apps.
NO issues encountered so far.

Not sure though if the admin is able to access any information or data saved in the account. This I cannot verify.
Although, I did see this line in the "Account Permissions" section.

It’s important to note that your administrator has access to any data you store in this account, including your email.

I will use/test the account for non-confidential stuff to avoid any security issues.

If you're looking for an unlimited file repository, this is definitely recommended. Just do your own research regarding security of the files you'll be uploading.
All in all, the seller delivered what was promised. For the cost, this is worth trying out.

Thanks!

@coins.ph

I have a small BTC transfer that got stuck and is still not confirmed. It's been 5 hours now.
Please advise what steps to take to get this confirmed or cancelled if necessary
Thanks!

over 40k unconfirmed transaction in the bitcoin network, coins.ph cant do anything. Its up to the miners to confirm your transaction but they are going to confirm the transactions which paid a larger miner's fee.

https://blockchain.info/unconfirmed-transactions

Yup, I understand this part. I was just thinking that maybe coins.ph can up the miners fee to get the transaction pushed. I don't mind paying extra.
I've even used the ViaBTC Transaction Accelerator but the transaction still doesn't have a single confirmation.

there is an option for you to pay an extra for your transaction to get high priority, maybe try to update your coins.ph app coz i assume you are using the outdated version which don't have option to pay for the miners fee

Thanks! I'll look into that.
There's also a big drop in unconfirmed transactions (from 40K to 30K), so I might wait it out a bit.

Re: [MANY SATISFED CUSTOMERS] [VOUCHED] 5$ IQOPTION earning method

I just bought the method. Heres my review

First of all, this is nothingness but will more likely make your risk go higher and loose it all. Its not a method , its a common sense tip , like you should call or put depending on majority choice. You will not make any profit of these but instead you will loose it all. No one can predict a currency price. It all depend on your luck with huge risk , With my $20 deposit, i made it to $26 , loose it to $18, $15, $10 and then zero. Shall you buy this? Well if you buy, you will regret. But it all depends on you , it has some dead martingale method too, that will make your risk 20x if so.

thanks for the helpful review Smiley

Re: Let's talk about Gambling
by
oluaris
on 27/03/2017, 05:51:54 UTC
tips from someone who's been gambling on and off since high school (almost 30 years now).
I'm still up in terms of lifetime winnings/losses (up around P500K). But a few hours of binge gambling can turn things around pretty quickly, believe me, I know.

so, here you go...

1) never play with money that you can't afford to lose
2) follow bankroll management (BRM), always!
3) play games that you fully understand, if you want to try something new, drop one or two stakes below your current BRM level
4) betting patterns don't work in the long term, except for live games like BlackJack or its variants (Spanish 21, Pontoon, etc) where card counting can be utilized
5) don't make gambling a secret from your partners/gfs/wives/husbands. You're just begging for a ton of headaches.
6) Very important!!! If you find yourself lying about gambling to people you care about, STOP! just STOP! Don't go there. Back away!!!

The above aren't easy, especially when that itch strikes. You just have to resist. Better yet, have a support system that can help you fight the urge.

Good luck and see you at the tables Smiley
