if I can choose I prefer to mine or invest in bitcoin rather than just waste time in the faucet without results.
because of the ETH of the ICO king. so ETH won't be able to die. maybe this year eth experienced a very deep decline but it was only temporary. maybe next year everything will recover and this is normal in the crypto world.
even though it only gets a little but it's very valuable. I've got $ 500 in one month. all depends on our luck. if we follow the bounty and airdrop after that the project is successful and we get paid we will definitely get a decent salary.

And what investors should do in such situation? Sell all they have for small money or wait until a token will go up?
I'm asking as a person working in such project. After ICO token price went down (KCY, I'm sure you heard of it). And It is interesting to know investor's opinion about such situation.

I suggest that when you get paid from a bounty campaign it is better not to sell you hold it until the price is the same as the ICO. when the price is the same as the ICO you will get more than selling it directly after payment.1.
