DiamCoin is backed by real Diamonds and is a stable coin, But seeing as the way crypto market is very unstable, how do you achieve the stability of DiamCoin? Is DiamCoin going to be a trading pair to other cryptocurrencies?

Re: ETH to hold now or not?
by

I advice you to hold... ETH will bounce back. I see this dip as an opportunity to grab more ETH. Lets see how November-December goes but I believe the price will bounce back.

Re: Is cryptocurrency so difficult to understand

I understand how you feel. first, u need to take it one step at a time. Don't rush it. Give them the basics, allow a little time and introduce a little more to them. Create a wallet while they watch and show them how easy it is to do transactions.

In my country, bitcoin awareness has quite grown over the past 2 years. But people still deal with cash, and bank system. I am yet to see a supermarket (even the online ones) in my country that accepts bitcoin/other cryptocurrency as payment option.

Re: what happened to ethereum?
by

Well, this is one question everybody is asking right now but I believe that ethereum will be fully restored before the year runs out. I read something like this happened last year when ethereum reduced to 10cents in one exchange. That was momentarily dou. But definitely that makes me believe that ETH will definitely get back.

Re: Recent bounty campaigns paying in Ethers?
by

on 06/09/2018, 22:16:28 UTC
I havent come across bounties offering ETH as rewards. I think Project owners prefer to pay with their token so as to have higher trading volume when they list on exchange. Nevertheless, I will lookout for bounties giving reward in ETH.

Re: what's your reason joining here in crypto?
by
omali
on 06/09/2018, 21:54:49 UTC
What attracted me first was a keen interest in the bitcoin blockchain tech. A need to educate myself on this new technology. I knew that crypto is the future and I wanted to get involved in this future. When I discovered that I could earn real money from this, there was simply no going back...LOL

Re: What does crypto mean to you
by
omali

To me, crypto is both the future and a means to fast buck. There are some coins I just hold for future but then again, I at times buy a coin just to sell it off in a few days time thereby making few bucks. Crypto however have a greater future than what we see now

Re: How did you feel about your first payment????
by

on 24/08/2018, 10:27:26 UTC
Well my first bounty is privcy and the first week I was paid, I was overjoyed. It was a big achievement because it was my first time ever receiving a coin from bounty and it was worth more than 50$ at once. It was so worth it and I finally started taking bounties serious.

Re: Be calm when the market falls
by
omali
on 23/08/2018, 00:10:02 UTC
when market falls, I do not panick. Because I know it will go up again. What I do is buy more . But I don't buy just any coin. Buy coins that have the potential of rising. Most times, I end up buying more bitcoin and ethereum. And then I buy in batches as market falls.

Re: How to get rid of emotions when trading
by
omali
on 23/08/2018, 00:03:02 UTC
Every trader have experienced panicking, or sometimes taking on more risk, or even letting our emotion fluctuate with the markets.

And we sometimes blame our emotions, for a bad trade. Then we try to suppress them and distance ourselves from them. Which is impossible because we are human, and emotions are one of the key defining traits of being human.

But trading well is all about making better decisions. What we actually need is to make better decisions, which will ultimately lead to improved profits.

Rather than becoming a robot, if we approach our trading with the steps explained by author, we can make better decisions.

I will like to add; Just stay calm, know when to trade or walk away and you will be good.

Re: KuCoin vs Binance
by
omali
on 17/08/2018, 05:22:02 UTC
Both are great exchanges... And I use the two. Binance app thou is more swift to use.

Kucoin and Binance offers fees of 0.1% per transaction. But I like the fact that as holder of Kucoin tokens, I can receive half of this transaction back through kucoin's unique dividend system.

As for Security, Kucoin and Binance are both very secure if you enable all security features for your account.

Binance Customer service is nothing to be proud of at all. Takes long for them to respond to tickets.
But then, when it comes to the total number of asset pairs offered, Binance is the winner.

Re: A successful trader must be an educated trader?
by
omali
on 17/08/2018, 04:01:41 UTC
To be successful in every/any business one ventures into, you need to know about it, how it works, steps to take, etc... This applies to crypto too.
To be successful trader, you need to be educated on crypto trading. Someone might be lucky and trade but thats just LUCK like I said. You can't depend on luck and its never advisable to invest your money into something you don't understand.

Re: Are you a victim of the word HOLD?
by
omali
on 11/08/2018, 08:22:48 UTC
I am a HODLer but am not a victim of the word HOLD because one thing I have learnt from experience is that You only become a victim when you hold just
any coin. If you hold coin like bitcoin, ETH, NEO, etc... forget how the market is shaking, just relax and when it booms, you will be smiling.

Trading is good if you are good.
You might say why not sell and buy low, but what happens if you sell, set order to buy low, and wake up to discover that instead of going low, price has skyrocket to the moon?
If you Trade, Hold some.
If you Hold, Hold potential coin/token (dont hold just any coin)

Re: Can Cryptocurrency Stand Without Bitcoin?
by
omali
on 10/08/2018, 06:02:35 UTC
Saying "bitcoin is useless in terms of usability" I totally disagree with that. Bitcoin usability didnt just start today. People buy and sell with bitcoin. Even years back, someone bought pizza with bitcoin. So many online businesses now, use bitcoin as payment method and the ones that have not inplemented bitcoin in their payment system are trying to do so.

As for any Alt replacing bitcoin, I don't see that happening. Not in the nearest future. In fact, that coin have not been born yet. Bitcoin is simply the KING!

Re: Why is Bitcoin making the world go crazy?
by
omali
on 09/08/2018, 03:00:03 UTC
The way bitcoin price grew in 2017 is enough reason to make the world go crazy. Those that already know about bitcoin, want to gain from it... A lot of people are hopping in.

Some see bitcoin as an investment, to others it's predominantly disruptive technology, and for others, it's seen as a secure, decentralised hedge against a financial establishment that's let them down one (or more) times too many.

Also some countries at some point in the past 10-15 years experienced a currency crash giving some reasons to doubt the stability of their government money.

There is still a lot of people that dont know or understand bitcoin (cryptocurrency) yet. Imagine what the world will be like when everybody is in.

Re: [NEWS] [Update 3 - Good for BTC] Bitcoin ETF Versus SEC - Who'll win this time
by
omali
on 08/08/2018, 17:03:47 UTC
SEC delayed Bitcoin ETF (expected)
Previous statement is on 2nd july on which they stated we hear bitcoin ETF's within 45 days means up to 16 august.
Resulting BTC dump of $700 from $7100 to $6400 within a period of 10 Hrs.
5 commissioners are given responsibility to decide on Bitcoin ETF's in which One commissioner, Hester Peirce, dissented from that decision

The pump of bitcoin from $6100 to $8400 from 12 july to 25th july was just fomo arises in people that SEC will give positive favour to bitcoin. When multiple fud arises that ETF will not be heard on August it crashes on 26th july resulting loss of $2000 in bitcoin just in 2 weeks.
People makes in their mind that without ETF's their is no bullrun. So sooner or later we need ETF's to pull the market in right directions.
