Re: What would you do if the altcoin price dumped?
by

First, I ensure that I'm holding good coins. Then I would relax because I know that the market is cyclic in nature. History often repeats itself. While I'm waiting, I would buy more coins at the dip.

Of course I'll sell. Many people will do so, and it would be smart of me to sell it on time as the price may tumble at any time.

Re: Don't hold Bitcoin for long time.

It's better to hold bitcoin than altcoins n my opinion. What you said above has to deal with trading. It's also possible to trade bitcoins a couple of times per week, but the gains are usually lower than trading alts. As there are many coins that are getting dumped, it's better not to fall into them by trading bitcoins.

Re: crypto-companies are starting to show more interest in working with governments

Governments need to partner with crypto companies to provide effective governance and enhance the adoption of cryptocurrencies. They cryptocurrency market has been suffering since governments declared a war on it. This news is definitely a right step in the right direction.

Re: Cryptocurrency to be accepted in shops by 2025?

This might be true. Now the blockchain companies are trying to develop their platform to cater for the demands it will face, and now is the opportunity to acquire some tokens which will increase in value when the platform goes mainstream.

If they are producing their national cryptocurrency, how would the government be able to control it owing to the decentralised nature of the  blockchain technology?

Re: A large part of the bounty Scam
by

I can say 100% that 60% of all bounty is a Scam. The reward for them is either given and the tokens will lie on your wallet forever or do not give at all. Then what's the point of doing this ?
Are you complaining or what? If you afraid to get scammed from shit ICOs, don't join or just join when they have escrowed the bounty or you can just join on bounty which use bitcoin as payment

He's not complaining. He's just making his observations which is very true. It's very difficult to get good bounties nowadays. Most people here do not know the things to look out for when identifying good projects.

Re: Time to move to BTC

I believe that good coins with low marketcap will also benefit so much from the bull market. BTC is the dominant crypto now and I'll invest in it for sure. But I'll also invest in some altcoins too (about 30% of my assets).

Re: shall i convert my bitcoins to ethereum?
by

I would prefer Ethereum rather than Bitcoin for long term investments.  Ethereum's popularity and potential is increasing by the day,  which will only drive up its price. It's just quite unfortunate that it is still crawling.

I've participated in a single bounty on that platform and I'm still expecting the token to get to the exchanges. While it is easier to gain more money due to less bounty hunters compared with bitcointalk, the quality of most of the projects is very low.

Re: Current ICO's rating systems. What do you think?
by

I use them as guides to see the details of the ICO and team members at a glance. I don't trust their scores though. For some very good sites, I can also check the categories of ICOs.

whether this project exists already (e.g we have Monaco, TenX, Centra, MoxyOne and many others) and none of them actually delivered 100% what they promised etc.
Well, new and existing projects that have the same concept are good for the ecosystem as the competition between them drives growth and innovation. Bounty hunters need to take notice of this as they can waste their time on fake projects.

I will advise that you steer clear of altcoins for the moment. There is too much trouble in the market. For now, just invest in Bitcoin or Ethereum. These have a large share and their impact on the market is very high.

Re: The start of bull market?

Maybe,  maybe not.  This news may cause some positive movements on the markets,  but the bull season will be sustained if this is actually implemented and people start using it.
