Did anybody get ccminer working with Nvidia Tesla GPUs?

I tried it with a Tesla K80/M60? Whenever I try, it usually says what the latest block is but no mining activity.

I am not a expert but think your Tesla is to strong for the settings in or not compatible with mining. Try with high options bat file. dont ask me what to do. you card is just to high performance need to make high setting for your card. or it would not work properly. good luck

forget what i said before. Use ccminer cuda 9.0 hope that wil help

Question about mining on GPU and CPU Huh

On GPU mining says BITCORE BLOCK

But On CPU mining says TIMETRAVEL10 BLOCK

Is that OK?  Huh

On you website Yiimp.eu WALLET

Details                    Extra   Algo           Diff           ES**   Hashrate*   Reject*
cpuminer-opt/3.8.0   d=12   bitcore   12      3.4   MH/s
ccminer/2.2.4           d=32   bitcore   32      27.2 MH/s

Just wondering if its all good?  Huh

Thank you very much

Odd...
the Pool shows I got a transaction last night (around 9h ago), but it still hasn't arrived in my wallet.
Closed down the wallet and relaunched it..still nothing.

Did the XVG Upgrade maybe mess with things a bit?

if its your first payment, something is wrong with your wallet. Some crypto doesnt receive desktop wallet only web wallet. Like bytecoin. And if it isnt your first payment absolutely look it up whats wrong.

Hi,

Please help me with setting. I have Intel Core i7 8700K / 16GB / Geforce GTX 1080 Ti
11GB. Using ccminer cuda sdk 9.0 64bit.

Can you please tell me how to optimize for my pc. I have changed some settings but no result. did change from -i 19,21 to 22,22 and from d=32 to d=64 and from cpu priority 3 to 4.
there are more to it in readme.txt but dont know which one to use for me.

I have no idea what I am doing.  Huh

Do you have the right setting for my pc.

Thank you very much. hope you can help me.

mining BTX

I havent mined this but her's suprnova parameters...
It would be helpful to lookat the instructions for mining each pool...

ccminer -a bitcore -o stratum+tcp://btx.suprnova.cc:3629 -u Weblogin.Worker -p Worker password

thank you for the information. I will try to give more explanation to my question. I am mining at 1 GPU 1080ti. Its my gaming pc. Do I really need to set the settings that are based on CPU or Bios or motherboard or something else? I use ccminer cuda 9.0 specifically for GPU 1080ti, but the settings are not for my PC. Does ccminer have any impackt what pc I use (CPU or bios or motherboard or something else) I mean there are many different pc i7 i5 i3 with different cores or processor cache or has that nothing to do with my pc because I am mining on my GPU.

Example :

this is my settings  (ccminer-x64.exe -a bitcore -i 19,21 -o stratum+tcp://yiimp.eu:3556 -u 1G5XWMm8h8QK19ifcNWy3Rx79BX4NbjUNx -p d=32) Do I need to put more settings in based on my pc Intel Core i7 8700K / 16GB : Z370 Gaming Pro
Carbon

The only device you will be using is the one card. Does yiimp require you to set the intensity level? I think the difficulty level should be 16 vs. 32. Maybe if you had multiple 1080 ti s you would increaseudifficulty settings. See if yiimp has any recommended settings for their pool. the other biggy is that you need to select a pool which is relatively close. if your in north america you don't want to select a pool in europe and vice versa. Your going to have to experiment to make sure ccminer does not crash too often. The other major thing you have not mentioned is if your using msi afterburner. you need to download this and immediately reduce your power down to 70-72%. if your not your going to burn out your graphics card.

How do I reduce my power- Memory Clock or CPU Clock or Power limit?

My current settings are in MSI afterburner core coltage 0, power limit 100, Core clock 0, Memory Clock 0, Fan speed auto.
using 250watt  CPU between 60celsius and 75c  GPU 68c and 70c
Thank you

Hi,

Can anyone tell me which one is better (so high or so low possible ) in Benchs. sry I am new in this.
 Huh
Hashrate (so high possible)
Intensity (high 19 between 21)
Freq MHZ ?      If freq is lower than 2000 and it says mem 4000 is it overdo. is it possible to do -2000 in overclock to save watt?
Watts (low possible)
Efficiency ?

Thank you  Wink

You're going to have to do your own testing, but I wouldn't do -2000 on anything.

Depending on the video card, gpu mhz between 1600-2000 is pretty normal, as is memory speeds in the 4000 range.

Usually you don't use negative numbers on the mhz numbers.  Some people will decrease voltage to try to save on power, but I'd recommend reading more on it before you do it.

this is one of people in benchmarks, he has 24.99MH\s and Freq 1547, Base clock 1632, Mem clock -981, Watts 55 how?
Bitcore 1080TI

Hi - I’ve been mining bashcoin and 3 block rewards have been pending clearance and showing “immature” since yesterday .. it’s been more than 16 hours now !! Can anyone help please to push / confirm the payment ? Why is it taking so long whereas in other pools hmmm laymen went through within an hour !

Yet Another Anonymous Mining Pool

coming soon

  • Multipool multialgo with auto exchange to Bitcoin or to any coin we mine.
  • We distribute hashpower in real time among the best coins.
  • No registration required.
  • Just plug in your stratum miner using your bitcoin wallet address as the username.
  • We also allow payouts in any currency we mine. Just use your altcoin wallet address as the username.
  • Payouts are made automatically twice a day for all balances above 0.001 (0.0001 on sunday).
  • Blocks are distributed proportionally among valid submitted shares.
  • Merged mining scrypt, x11, qubit and skein
  • Algo switching.
  • More than 60 coins.
  • 10 different algos.
  • We also rent hashpower to use on your favorite pools.

First payout is after 24hour. After that its 6 hours, if hash rate is low. I have 25mh/s hashrate I get after 6 hours and you need to keep hashing. I am still a noob.
Blocks you find its not only yours but its all of us. You find block because we all are connected.  I am in BitCore. I find blocks  every 60 secs ( its pool effort )

Does GPU mining effect on what processor you use?
by
onderdoor

Hi miners, I am using ccminer cuda 9.0 mining BTX

I am a noob miner, I have an Intel Core i7 8700K / 16GB / Geforce GTX 1080 Ti 11GB. I use my GPU to mine. The program ccminer cuda 9.0. In each miner program you can change settings or insert a few more (notepad). I assume that the setting that already exists will be default settings. My question is should I add something based on my PC data such as processors, cores or memory or processors cache etc. Does GPU mining have anything to do with what pc I have PC, for example; same GPUs in both PCs has I3 and the other I7, would give the same result? Does GPU mining to do with processor cache 6MB or 8MB. Does its make better mining?  Do I need to change the settings on the basis of my PC.

My settings at this moment is: also standard as is in folder; except my wallet

ccminer-x64.exe -a bitcore -i 19.21 -o stratum + tcp: //yiimp.eu: 3556 -u 1G5XWMm8h8QK19ifcNWy3Rx79BX4NbjUNx -pd = 32 (this is also standard, but in readme there are more functions to insert) as

small example, of course, it is longer than this;

-d, --devices         gives a comma separated list of CUDA device IDs
to operate on. Device IDs start counting from 0!
Alternatively give string names of your card like
                        gtx780ti or gt640#2 (matching 2nd gt640 in the PC).

  -i, --intensity=N[,N] GPU threads per call 8-25 (2^N + F, default: 0=auto)
Decimals and multiple values are allowed for fine tuning
--cuda-schedule   Set device threads scheduling mode (default: auto)
-f, --diff-factor     Divide difficulty by this factor (default 1.0)
-m, --diff-multiplier Multiply difficulty by this value (default 1.0)
-o, --url=URL         URL of mining server
  -O, --userpass=U:P    username:password pair for mining server
-u, --user=USERNAME   username for mining server
-p, --pass=PASSWORD   password for mining server
--cert=FILE       certificate for mining server using SSL
  -x, --proxy=[PROTOCOL://]HOST[:PORT]  connect through a proxy
-t, --threads=N       number of miner threads (default: number of nVidia GPUs in your system)
-r, --retries=N       number of times to retry if a network call fails
                          (default: retry indefinitely)
      --no-longpoll     disable X-Long-Polling support
      --no-stratum      disable X-Stratum support
-q, --quiet           disable per-thread hashmeter output
      --no-color        disable colored output
  -D, --debug           enable debug output
  -P, --protocol-dump   verbose dump of protocol-level activities
  -b, --api-bind=port   IP:port for the miner API (default: 127.0.0.1:4068), 0 disabled
--api-remote      Allow remote control, like pool switching, imply --api-allow=0/0
--api-allow=...   IP/mask of the allowed api client(s), 0/0 for all
--max-temp=N      Only mine if gpu temp is less than specified value
