Mingle - MinGW64 toolkit & distribution

Hey Guys,

I just wanted to share our recent contributions to the community and get some feedback if possible. For those interested in getting started in MinGW64 development or getting and environment setup faster, we have a development tookit/script which will build a full distribution with all dependencies for bitcoin development on 64bit windows. The project was currently in use for supporting geographic and 3d rendering environments. However, I've recently added bitcoin environment dependencies and the project itself. More work is underway to support altcoins including Ethereum and Go. The project is called Mingle and can be found on Github:

https://github.com/onepremise/Mingle

To get started right away:

  • Download mingle light - https://github.com/onepremise/Mingle/archive/master.zip
  • Open DOS in Administrative mode
  • CD to the extracted contents of the package
  • Run setup.bat -b
  • Select the environment you wish to setup.
  • Enter and watch as all dependencies and selected projects are built.

If you have access to high speed broadband, you can download a base distribution to speed up the build process. A prebuilt base distribution can be found here:

https://vanguard.houghtonassociates.com/browse/MINGLE

I understand it's unfortunately a rather hefty download, package management is on the roadmap for the near future.

Currently, the following projects are fully building in the environment setup:

Sorry but you missed the boat, although quite how, I don't understand.

ehh right? I guess coinwarz missed the boat along with that 896.49 MH/s of people still hashing SAT out, as of today. They haven't even flagged it yet. It was ok addition to the multipools, but who follows just one altcoin?  I would have tried to convert over if provided more options. However, as a result of circumstances, I think I'm done with SAT. Goodluck with the second release. FYI, to those that haven't exchanged your coins yet. I found you can still convert your coins over on https://comkort.com/ to BTC/LTC/DOGE. Of course, they aren't worth anything now Sad

There was only 1 day to convert over to SAT2? Is there no other way to convert my old SAT?

Is there anything holding anybody back from forking the wallet on github and just picking up where they left off?

I've actually been mining iCoin since the initial release, or what i thought to be the initial release. It seems like iCoin has been out for a while. Why the sudden IPO?

Interesting, I was just wondering what's going on there myself. I just started mining there and noticed payouts are not occurring as well. I contacted the administrator and have heard nothing either. I'm leaving their pool. Glad I haven't mined there long.
