Re: Z9 list of working pools/Fork updates

What to Mine predicts 1.6 - 1.9 zencash per day currently based upon 15000 sol/s

Is anyone actually getting that?
Ifso... what pools are you using?

Ive tried zhash and supranova.... and while they both work.... I'm likely pulling 1 zen per day at 15000 sols... which is certainly less then predicted...

Anyone with an Z9mini care to post their daily haul of Zen for comparison and what pool?

Just a shout out to Percise....

Thanks for the help... without you I would not have looked beyond the seemingly broken wallet. Now the wallet is syncing. Thanks again.

ps: It seems a little odd to release an official wallet in a non-functional state? I'd think that The Powers That Be would try to remove barriers to entry?

At any rate .. thanks.... I'm mining on EZPOOL.NET

Re: [Awesome Miner]- Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 5000 miners

Hey Patrike

I'm trying to customize your software to display my portfolio / stats in one place via the Balance section of this software.
The builtin block explorer works for the coins loaded on that site.
Also, I've read the help section
http://www.awesomeminer.com/help/coinbalance.aspx

Now I'm trying to put the balance in for
Bitcoinz, ZenCash, Hush, CVC, PIVX

I've googled some block explorer sites for these coins... but I want to add them to the Balance section.

I mean I have found specific websites for these coins that detail their working block explorers.

I was hoping for some guidance on how to setup the Balance section for these coins. (its not a matter and cut/paste the URL, heh, I've tried)

How are any of you programming the Balance section to display the wallet totals of the coins that you are mining?

Its a handy feature to have in this software and the stock/default (BTC/LTC) features/explorers work fine. I'm just looking how direction as to how to program more than the available BTC/LTC coins

Thanks

Now I'm mining aspectcoin, it's not listed on exchange now, will be listed in 2018 q1. I think that it's the only way to have a good profit with d3

Hey.

Never heard of this coin til I read your post. So I checked out the ANN thread for it.
No exchange.... so this would be a situation where you mine with the hope of it one day getting on an exchange?
I DL'd their wallet... and my anti-virus scanner flagged it. (yes I know about false positives)

Does anyone have a link to an Aspectcoin windows wallet that does not require me trusting that my anti-virus is reading false positives?

Thanks

Question for Devs or Pros,

So I was fooling around with the Rules settings. I have a number of AntMiners and yes they were OC`d to the tits by Bitmain and tend to go offline from time to time(xxxoxxxo) . I elected to buy Awesome Miner to monitor my machines (instead of updating the firmware, as the new firmware are even more buggy).

Right... so I changed the Rules sections and added a new rule to `highlight in red`the dead miner, before it reboots the dead miner. Now all my miners are permanently Red highlight :-)...

1. I`d love any ideas as to how to remove the Red Highlight (automatically) once the system detects that the Miners are back on line.

2. I have a stack of D3s and L3+s on my home network... and Awesome Miner finds them just fine. I also have a GPU running SMOS (DSTM/Zen)...my router confirms that it is 192.168.0.254... and it mines just fine... but Awesome Miner can't seem to auto scan/locate it.  ANy ideas folks?

Thanks for any insight folks

Re: [Guide] How to Setup and Use smOS Simple Miner - Easiest Mining OS
by
onyx369
on 03/12/2017, 05:44:37 UTC
Hey guys put together a basic video going over the setup and use of Simple Mining / Simple Miner OS. I cover how to flash your USB / HDD and sync up EWBF / Claymore to mine ZenCash, Ethereum, Bitcoin Gold, Hush, and the same settings apply for a lot of other coins such as Zcash.
Original BTC Talk smOS thread and official Simple Miner website

Great video as always Vosk!

Quick question.

1) Would you kindly post your SMOS Zencash 1070 ti overclock settings?

(i'm 180, 700, 120watts, avg 490 sols running 6x 1070 ti)

2) I've likely done something wrong... but I switched over from NVOC to SMOS on your recommendation... I seem to lose sync between SMOS web based interface and the mining rig itself (routinely). The web interface will go from green to red and displays 'offline'... while the miner continues to mine seemingly uneffected by the loss of connection to the SMOS web interface.

Has anyone else had these web dashboard connection issues? How did you overcome the dashboard dropping issues?

Thanks for any insight.

First off... big thanks to all miners posting in this thread.

BSAlex,
Dude... your post was awesome.
I gotta admit this server PSU + asrock 110 motherboard was starting to drive me nuts.
I have molex adapters coming in the mail... but staring at all these 1070 ti's not functioning was getting on my nerves. Your idea to go into the BIOS and shut off the hardware warning was great!
The rig fired up with all my GPUs online... with -no- molex power adapters and running completely off server PSU, following Vosk's 1070 ti build.

Hats off to all of you, this is a really good community.

Cheers.

Vosk,
Great post and great video.
Got time for a question or two?

I've been watching your videos and dude they are 'top tier' for us n00bs.

I am replicating CryptoChicks 1070 TI build.
I have the 13 GPU asrock motherboard and a 1200 parallel miner server PSU.

Problems: (with the 100% server PSU in mind, not ATX)
1. Can you clarify exactly what cable/adapter you use for the CPU/8 pin EPS slot on the asrock MB?
2. Noting the 6 pin PCIE cables that come with the server PSU, what specific adapter did you use to power the "2" molex ports on the motherboard?

Lastly, you and Quintleo refer to afterburner OC settings. Would you mind sharing the settings that you throw into the 1bash (NVOC) clock/memory settings for your 1070 ti rig?

Thanks again and keep up the great work!
