Yes. Handmade from scratch. No special electical hardware other than jigsaw and powerdrill.

you could easily sell those man

Im going to make second one soon and i will probably sell it on auction when its ready. Not just case, but complete miner with 4x 280x inside. This one is going to be better finished than my first prototype. I will probably paint it black before assembling.
I will also add high quality pictures when its ready.  Smiley

no, dont paint it black!
it looks cool like it is.. Wink

35 usb block erupter - only 10 or so are working, rest is demaged now.. Sad

how did you damage them?

i killed them by desoldering the asics.
one of my block erupter blades had demaged asics... from one day to another... dont ask my why, i dont know.

but i desoldered the asics from the usb erupters and soldered it into the blade.
now my blade is working again...

i made this, cause its more easy to power one blade instead of many usb hubs...

if someone have be100 asics for sell, i would be happy...
then i can repair all my usb erupters.
but friedcat dont sell asics, only complete devices... i already asked him for it.

this is my super duper killer mashine:

no not realy.. its my first test to print a case and to fit a normal 16x2 lcd and 2 buttons into the raspberry pi.
if someone have a 3d printer and whant to print my case, i uploaded it to thingiverse: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:195335
this case on pic is the first print, but i made a better one (as seen on thingiverse, but have no pic for now).

my components for mining are:
2 asic miner blades - 20 gh/s
35 usb block erupter - only 10 or so are working, rest is demaged now.. Sad
4 jalapenos 5 gh/s (two of them avg: 6500 mh/s one with avr: 6100 mh/s and my best one have stable avg: 7500 mh/s without modefications).

and 20 hd5970 clusters bruteforcing, but not for btc... it is used for nokia sl3 unlocking...

Unfortunately not my rig:

But is that cool-looking or what? Looks like inside some gothic church or something with those cooling pipes.

Got shot from this article: http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2013-12-25/trip-through-bitcoin-mines

thats are real bitcoin asic miners! (first i tought it just normal servers, but no, it is asic miners!)
they are in china.

3M produced liquid cooling for the asics, the complete asic blades are put into some special 3M
cooling liquid!

see the blades in the 3m liquid:

power consumation: 50.000$ in month!

but nothing can be read about mining power...

this is my PICs

hot zone

 Grin

I was wondering how many watts you are pulling? I know what the math says, but I was wondering what the actual wattage was?

and iam interessted in the 10 port hubs he use?
are this the cheap 8-15€ hubs?

i ask because i whant to buy the same..
i have read, they have some hardware bug (resistor instead of diode) and the powersupply voltage bounce back to the usb port and may demage the computer.
so solution is, to desolder the resistor and dont even but a diode inside to be more save...

but my question is, how mutch ampere have the power supply to this hub?
or you buyed other powesupplys with more ampere for it?

here is a 3 weeks old video of my last creation: http://jau.cc/lcd/cgminerLCD_ooxtcoo.MOV

the newer video (i need to upload it first) is 2 days old and you can already see mutch more features.
the new video uses 16x2 lcd and also 2 buttons,
it have a setup menu (pressing more then 3 seconds up buttons enters setup menu).

in setup menu user can set pool adress, username, pool password..

i need to add, wlan config, backup pools, pool change, pool priority settings...
so after iam finished, it will run fully standalone.. even to config the raspberry there is no need of any pc or any ssh client... all will be fully standalone.

when i finished my coding, and if people are interressted, i post the source here.

it is using pgio pins of the raspberry pi, not like the adafruit modul via i2c.

it uses 1 lcd and 2 buttons to control... maybe i add 3 or 4 buttons, but till
now i found a easy way to config all via 2 buttons easy.

i whant to add support for different lcd types: 16x1, 16x2, 16x4, 20x2, 20x4

this is my latest video for my standalone asic miner:  http://jau.cc/lcd/cgminer_LCD_NEW.MOV

it will be controlled via raspberry pi, everything put together in a special metall case with fans inside.
completly standalone, controlled and setup with lcd (16x2) and 2 buttons.  Wink

1 device will have 7 overlocked (16.000 mhz) block erupters inside.

when its finished, i post a picture of this device..
programming part is 80% finished.. now i need to programm the setup functions, so everything can
be setup directly from the lcd via 2 buttons... also wlan and raspberry pi system settings can be setup.

why not dump the video on youtube instead of providing a link to download it?

little bit hard to upload via ipad...

Re: How can we protect ourselves from scam?

It's very simple, you just have to be very attentive. You are trying to deceive people like you, and often such a deception is calculated for a complete fool. If you have at least a drop of mindfulness and consideration, you will easily understand what you need to do.

Re: I am most worried now

•   In part, yes, the market is falling, and therefore the number of ICO projects and airdrops is decreasing, which entails the loss of the Ether company. After all, it is the Ether that provides the work almost 90% of all existing ICO projects and earns on it.

Yes, in my opinion now is a good time to invest in the Ether. The price has already dropped quite low relative to past highs. On the other hand, the price may drop even lower, you can take a chance and wait a little longer.

Re: Many projects are dead?

In this there is nothing strange and unexpected. Recently, I often notice that even good projects can not collect enough investment to reach a minimum level of security. The fact is that with the fall of the market, the number of investors has sharply decreased.

Re: If your coin increased 40% - 200% in value over night. What would you do?
by

Naturally, I would sell all of these coins. As practice shows, a strong one-day holiday is rewarded with the same sharp drop! But I would sell parts by piece, as the coin's value increases.

I completely agree with you, there is no point in panicking, it will only exacerbate the situation. If you are afraid, then you have already made a mistake. It is not worth investing money that you feel sorry for losing.

This is without a doubt so. I agree. I am sure that this correction is very important for the market. It seems to me that people began to approach the investment more consciously and to stop speculation in the market.

It seems to me that the best purse for the storage of Ether was and remains MyEtherWallet. It is intuitive for beginners, all the keys are stored by you and this is an official application from Ether.

Re: Why are you selling your altcoins so soon?
by

I do not sell all my coins, in my opinion it's just pointless. Yes, the market is in a drawdown, but it's temporary. Why does everyone raise panic and start selling coins, do you really not understand that because of such as you market falls even lower.

No, in fact it is not difficult at all, it is often seen at first sight. But it happens that the project cheats only because it can not raise money. I advise you to participate only in projects conducted by proven bounty managers.

Everyone decides for himself. In fact, everything depends on your investment strategy and risk management. Very important is your knowledge and experience in the market, without it you will lose everything. If you take all the factors together, only you can decide.

I believe that nothing terrible has happened in the market and there is no need to panic. The market is very young and you can expect anything, especially sharp ups and downs. I think that in October anything can happen, one should not think ahead.
