Hi All,
Bit of an amateur question but I have a Kraken account and bitcoins on this exchange are ticker XBT and on Coinex bitcoins are under ticker BTC. I didn't realise there were different ticker symbols for bitcoin?
Also, I emailed Coinex to ask about sending Bitcoins (XBT) from Kraken to my Coinex account to buy XMV's but got this message in reply:
"Thanks for contacting CoinEx support.
BTC address is ONLY available for BTC deposit. Minimum limit for each deposit is 0.0006. Any deposit below minimum limit or non-BTC deposit will NOT be added to your account and it is NOT refundable.
Therefore, I suggest you DON'T deposit non-BTC on BTC wallet of CoinEx.
Kind regards"

Pretty sure Kraken just list Bitcoin (BTC) as XBT, not sure why. But it is still bitcoin (BTC). Bitcoin Cash is listed as BCH. That Coinex site probably just got confused thinking you were asking about some random bitcoin fork called XBT.

There's actually a very specific reason as to why XBT is called XBT and not BTC on kraken! They use it to designate the "bitcoin exchange traded notes" which are not BTC itself but have their value backed in BTC which you would receive when you withdraw XBT from the exchange for instance.
This is all very shady!! I was not aware that mr Donin was involved with spacebtc.com, which was quite a fiasco of a project and he doesn't mention any involvement in it on his LN profile.
The way atlant team handles this issues through unofficial channels here on bitcointalk is not a good way to treat investors.
I have dumped all of my ATL holdings and everyone with a sane mind should do the same at least until the team goes clean and official about this.

Mr. Svirsky should make an official statement by himself, and sign it himself on official channels if ATLANT really cared about it's investors. The level of naivety is incredible in this community!

The ones dumping now are going to look back with such regret. The Golden Rule of trading is: Buy Low, Sell High. One look at the ATL chart is enough to see that now is the time to BUY.

Actually given the circumstances we may see prices going down for about a week. Given that they are distributing tokens manually and that it's gonna take a week every first week of the month for the next 18 months. Get ready to see some serious price tanking every month now
What are altcoins that are low-risk? Coins that would have 3-5% growth per annum?
If ure looking for 3-5% growth per annum no need to look at crypto markets, you can have that by trading some more conventional assets. Or just hold main ones like BTC and ETH, though ETH is poised to outperform BTC in the future IMO.
Do not look for low risk in alts, there is hardly such a thing. Not many alts can outperform BTC or ETH, if you wanna trade them anyway, just avoid the mistake of benchmarking alts against fiat! Also focus more on crypto assets rather than coins
Hold ETH all the way down the road! ETHBTC is poised for an upwards breakout of a descending triangle and on top of that the metropolis upgrade is right on schedule. I expect ether to surpass BTC in marketcap at some point in future!

It's still strange that there is not much volume on exchanges... Are there any plans on getting ADEL listed on Bittrex, etc... You guys should have no trouble getting listed on bigger, reputable exchange platforms

I've been searching for hours to find a new project to throw another $1500 in.
My portfolio right now consists of mainly ARK, and a few other shitcoins not worth mentioning here, haha!
Anyway, I REALLY like Arks DPOS system, mainly because I don't have to have my computer running 24/7 to stake my coins.
I'm looking for a coin that has good fundementals, great roadmap, and a way to get passive income, without leaving my computer on. (So no traditional POS).
As far as I know the coins which DPOS is: ARK, LISK, RISE, NAV. I don't know any other coin, so if any of you guys know. Please enlighten me
It's extremely hard to figure out what I should invest in next. Hope some of you can help out.. Even though I know most of you guys will suggest coins you already hold.

I have stumbled upon quite a great project on http://archain.org. Their work has a huge potential and the dev team looks awesome but I am absolutely astonished by how unknown they are at the moment. There is no mention of them here on bitcointalk!!
They are selling 55M tokens and that is the hard cap.
