Using the 2nd option (the Advertise Here option) is more expensive (for the person renting the space ; i guess coinpayments charges its own fees for every tiny satoshi you move with their service) and is more time consuming for the faucet owner to maintain, test, update,etc) so the first option ( payments directly to faucet admin wallet) is way much better in every aspect .
I wanted to rent space on a service "Advertise Here" on virtualpub or a faucet, don't remember the name, some time ago and when i clicked Advertise Here they asked me to pay 0.01 btc which was an insane amount even at that time/btc price.
Do you remember the virtualpub game faucet ? had ptc ads and renting space but the payments asked by tomos81 was directly to his wallet , not depending on faucethub, saving the user to pay additional fees for the greedy coinpayments service, so much much more cheap than the greedy "advertise here" option etc.
 Every ad service, every micro wallet, (excepts the network miners fee) asks its own fees and that is reflecting on the faucet claimer that's why i encourage faucet admins to find the best ways to save money by not spending on useless fees and/or to save the users to pay useless fees (e.g. coinpayments) and increase the faucet' claim value for the users if their faucet owner dream is to have 3k users daily like virtualpub.

I have decided to make a new script with login with address like VietNam faucet script but there are more cool features It will be built with CodeIgniter framework. I hope it will be more secure. Thank you for your comments.

You're welcome, i forgot to mention about renting banner space there are 2 ways :
1. either you rent banner spaces on your own and payments are to you directly (requires programming skills because you create them and the payment options)
2. or rent banner space using a 3rd party website such as adbit.co or coinzilla i think , where under a banner from that website is displayed "Advertise Here" link [does not require implementing hard work, the rented banners will use 3rd party's space(allocated by you on faucet)] .
 
But the prices could be insanely high on 2nd option when comes to a 3rd party renting banner space thats why i suggest creating the option on your own, is the best way because you can set the prices and change them even according to your traffic/rank and you don't depend on 3rd party in this matter. Maybe a real time convertor added to the renting prices page according to the BTC - USD rate will be even better so you dont have to edit everytime the prices if bitcoin goes up or down. Also a widget with the price of btc from a specific exchange (the reference one such as coindesk) will make people to know which exchange is used as reference for usd-btc if for example your prices are dollar based.
