which pool? I registered at charitypool but pool wasn't working so I switched.
Okaypool, am using the same batch file that worked fine with Hirocoin, have changed the kernel to Givecoin but still no joy, getting 100% rejected.
OK got it sorted, hadn't set the thread concurrency and that pool uses the darkcoin kernel rather than the givecoin one, just to confuse me more

Hopefully someone can help me out, when i use the givecoin kernel I'm getting 100% rejects (share above target) and if I try the darkcoin kernel sgminer seems to be working but on the pool there's no activity.
Sorry it's probably a nooby mistake by me but any help would be appreciated.

Am currently mining HIRO to sell for ZEIT but price is dropping like a lead balloon, I really like the X11 algorithm, keeps the cards cool
You folks recommend any other coins to mine that my machine would do OK with? (outputs about 1150KHs on Scrypt and 3.6MHs on X11).
Someone mentioned GIVE coin but looks like the launch of that has been delayed a few days.
What I really like with the X11 lark is that I can watch shows or films and it doesn't majorly impede video performance or hash rate, hopefully it'll become more popular in the future.

Have had no luck with the X 11 GPU mining, tried both Darkcoin and Hirocoin, just get 100% HW errors, have looked through some guides but still no joy.
The 2 cards in my machine are an EAH6950 and an MSI R280X Gaming, not sure if that's relevant but to those of you who've been able to successfully mine X 11 coins any help would be much appreciated.
The pan, as with many here is to mine, sell and buy Zeit with the profits

Are you trying to mine with cgminer? That would explain it

Nope, am running in sgminer, I was bout to go off on a rant but then decided to double check something, even though I have 2 copies of sgminer 4.1.0, when I checked the kernel folders of both only 1 had the darkcoin.cl file.

WTF I KEEP MISSING .DLL files!!!?? Whats going on?
If you have already extracted the Zeit wallet 1.0.1 version then it should have all the .DLL files in it, all I did was extract the v1.0.2 zip in to the folder where the 1.0.1 filer were and it worked fine.
If you don't have it then throw 7zip on to your machine, you can double click on archives and specify which files you want to extract.
The new option to unlock wallet for minting is pretty sweet

I tried this "walletpassphrase YOUR_PASSWORD 9999999 true" in console but says error. Also I Have not set any password as there is no conf file in there. What should I do in order to get minting

Think the wallet is already unlocked if you've not set any password so you shouldn't need to run this command.
On wallet main screen look at the padlock symbol in bottom right, if it's open each time you start the wallet then I think it's already unlocked but I'm open to correction on this.

I would throw the rig's hashing power back on it, but need to stick to X11 coins at the moment. Running 4x 290's from 1,650W is pushing the PSUs quite hard on Scrypt, with X11 it's almost half the power usage!
Do like X11, very efficient algo.
Hi,
Just wondering what X11 coin(s) you'd recommend I could start mining? My machine will only put out about 1.2 or 1.3MHs in Scrypt so am unsure how that would perform with X11 (think with Adaptive-N it's about 50% hashrate of Scrypt).

Ah, a pure sickener, was planning on borrowing some dosh from the credit union to buy a couple of BTC but no chance of happening before next week, price of Zeit will probably have tripled by then lol.

I've mined about 6 million & bought 60 million.
Wowsers! you must have a decent enough rig, well at least compared to mine (no pun intended lol).
Am thinking of picking some coins up, will see how it plays out.

Alternatively, if I pick up 200 worth of BTC what tactics would you recommend in bringing the value of Zeit up, as I'm sure you've guessed by now I'm a noob to this game

My mining is fairly puny, it only tallies up to about 1100KH/s so wondering what other coins you'd recommend mining to sell and cash in for Zeit?
Alternatively, I'm wondering if you reckon it's worth my while to pick up 100 or even 200 worth of Zeit instead to save on power costs?

For the POS to work, do I need to unlock wallet (via the console) every time I start the computer and launch the wallet?
I'm not using a dedicated mining rig, just using the gfx cards on my PC.

Yes just open it after 20 days.. it has to be unlocked though.
