hello Sampey, I've been trading with btc/usd,  I wonder is there any trading platform able to practice with CAT?
I've been using same strategy for about 1,5 years, I want to develop a new strategy but I'm too afraid to lose money (I'm not rich trader)

hmmm....in general log, CAT does price check every 40 seconds to make sure the diff is fulfilled
how about make a separate tab/panel for this price log and give a check box with a two small text boxes, to switch between up or down trend
how CAT know to switch or stay in the trend is by average of price log for those certain hours decided by user
the check box is to do automatic switch, while the first text box is how many hour (in seconds unit) before CAT decide to switch the trend
and the second text box is to decide diff of average price between decided hour


for example user detect up trend with btc/usd 530 at 01:00 PM then decide to buy with 0.8 diff (default diff),
user decide 1 hour before CAT can switch or stay in the trend
user check the switch automatically box and type 3600 seconds to switch after 1 hour with 5% diff of average price each hour
at 02:00 PM the average btc/usd price is 550 (CAT average all price check for 1 hour that listed in the tab/panel start form 01:00 PM to 02:00 PM)
since the  price is higher than the last and the diff is 3,64%, so CAT decide to stay in the up trend, keep pong sell

at 03:00 PM the average btc/usd price is 557 (CAT average all price check for 1 hour that listed in the tab/panel start form 02:00 PM to 03:00 PM)
since the  price is higher than the last and the diff is 1,26%, so CAT decide to stay in the up trend, keep pong sell

at 04:00 PM the the average btc/usd price is 520 (CAT average all price check for 1 hour that listed in the tab/panel start form 03:00 PM to 04:00 PM)
since the price is lower than the last and compared to 557 the diff is 5,75%
so CAT decide to switch to down trend, pong buy

why it should be in second unit,
so that Sampey can give small explanation with minimum seconds user can choose (which is 40 seconds just like CAT default)
and also for those who want to switch as soon as possible, so they don't miss the trend change every 40 seconds

just my idea, since I don't know how to do MACD and other indicator

what do you think Sampey..?

what makes C.A.T become less attractive is cryptsy server...
I don't have any problem before november 2013

but C.A.T designed for cryptsy, not for other bitcoin trading platform
with C.A.T you can't move anywhere but cryptsy

I start to doubt, that crypsty will return back to normal like before,
I think this is the new server speed, it will increase in 2-3 years, but still not as fast as in 2013

go to market, refresh, see list of the latest buy and sell price
choose your price, then type it in your sell / buy price

Luca can you add  btc balance at the end of gain after --total cumulative gain--
so we can track whether the gain is meaningful or not

I know there is market devaluation, but still I want to know how much gain do I need to fight it,
because cryptsy is still slow, there's no way to fight market devaluation by depending on transaction frequency

yes, that is true if there's no miner out there, you can't buy altcoin without miners keep mining the coin, and the altcoin price will not getting higher if the altcoin difficulty is very low, means only several miners exist

look at bitcoin, the difficulty is insanely high, but why do you keep your btc and not alcoin which has lower mining difficulty, yes because bicoin is an attractive market, adding more Gigahashes means increase in difficulty, more difficulty means coin is harder to get, and the price of the coin is flying to the moon

what traders should do is choose attractive market, and promote crypsty.com to miners out there,

I want to know btc/usd price in cryptsy, you can see bitcoinwisdom.com is comparing price in several site, you can see how attractive the site by comparing the price

I wonder how many trader here know that people can't get altcoin without solving scrypt..?

but really, the one make most of money is cryptsy, if you have thousand dollars I suggest you build another one, the fee can be as low as 0.000000001 but it is plus and not minus to your account, and remember keep your site attractive for traders and miners 

my experience using "Return all to primary currency" is selling my coin at my last sell order, not at currently running price, so it takes 5-6 hour to complete all market

at first I thought it is going to cancel all my buy and sell order, then after all order canceled and return to available balance, it going to sell all available balance at currently running price, which in my experience the coin sold faster

I know selling at currently running price can be loss in gain, but I want my all btc back after 24 hours trading

waiting for crypsty is like forever, maybe it takes more than two months to install new server

now, my only one order is closed, crypsy took an hour to recognize that the order already completed

now cryptsy has a ghost open order, I have one open order, but when I look at the open order page, there's no order

it begin when I use v8, there are two possibilities, the CAT algo, or cyptsy error

you guys are very brave, I'm still waiting cryptsy to run fast gain
only trade with very little btc for every new CAT version,
a new CAT is like a new car, you need to test drive before you go to the street

that level of programming is more than just one person or at least be patient to wait

how about C.A.T that can be set once and forget for the rest, then making thousand dollar per day (this would be Cheetah version)

have you tried to convert all your altcoin into bitcoin...?
did you get same result in bitcoin?

research, and implement, always put small btc first, after several days, if you get good result, put more bitcoin, gradual,
put more coin only if it get you constant result, if the result is not constant, try another strategy, always start small btc
maintain CAT at least once in day

never put all of your bitcoin into your trading strategy, keep your bitcoin any amount that you feel safe
small reward also means small risk

remember, now cryptsy is slow, I don't know how long it going to stay like that
CAT is enable user to do rapid transaction,
with number of CAT user now and crypsty slow server is just like a very long queue into a small elevator
most people will only lose opportunity to trade, and leave behind with lots of altcoin

well, I guess it just common investment strategy

before cryptsy change (black template), I can get gain beyond my target,
for now, wait and do research

how about several button
- start all ping-pong process in selected market
- stop all process in selected market
- check all price in selected market
- stop all process, cancel all order, and sell all altcoins in balance

and also label and status,
for example
LTC/BTC = running
XPM/BTC = zombie
QRK/BTC = zombie
ZET/BTC = running
BTB/BTC = running
WDC/BTC=zombie

fit it in one page called "dashboard"

I hope cryptsy will start USD/BTC market soon
