Thanks for everybody who helped me with my OSX wallet.

It took me a long time to find what was the issue. if anybody is in the same situation, here is what i did:

You have to create a 808.conf file and put it in a hidden folder under user/(yourname)/library(hidden)/application support/808

Now the important part, text edit doesn't let you create a .conf directly.

Go to preferences:

under format: check plain text
under open and save: uncheck add .txt extension for plain text files
then RESTART the application

Open textedit and copy the nodes from this link: https://novaexchange.com/addnodes/808/
and save it as 808.conf in the right location.
The wallet should then synchronise (it took me a long day to synchronise the first time - you should see a progress bar if it does)

No the wallet doesn't synchronise. It says 0 active connection.
The transaction appears in the blockchain, I'm using the osx wallet and I added the .conf file with the nodes and I try to use a vpn as I'm in indonesia at the moment.
It still doesnt sync.
SHould I change something in the wallet preferences?

Hello,

I'm still fairly new (8 months in the crypto world).

How long does it take usually for the 808coin to appear in my wallet. I used the 808coin wallet for mac osx and transfered 10000 coins from cryptopia 10 hours ago and still nothing in the wallet.

Is there a walkthrough somewhere on how to use the wallet? maybe I'm doing something wrong
