I think this will impact negatively in TRON's ability to fulfill its goals and if indeed this story is true and TRON's CTO is telling the truth, then I'm afraid its stakeholders would think twice if they would go on supporting it since these are very damaging issues brought out by the CTO which is contrary to what TRON is trying to portray among the crypto community. Imho.

And how do you find buyers for an inherently worthless token? And why should you do that if you know it means to mislead people.

More seriously, trust is the most important thing and comes with transparency; transparency is provided by third party audit. You have to know that we will conduct an audit every 30 min on several aspect such as the issuance of the stable coin, our liquidity reserve, our banking accounts, and several off-chain component so you can trust them.

Regarding market price manipulation, let's be honest, any company within an unregulated environnement can do it, one way or another. Manipulating the price could be done through different way, from fake rumour to impossible promesses, to order book manipulation, etc. We do not have any interest doing that, and we will not.

As for the tokens owned by Jarvis, Jarvis will keep 50M tokens, placed into a strategic pool whose role will be do distribute these tokens over a period of time (like 5 years) to users, developpers, influencers etc. It is our "ongoing bounty/airdrop campaign" which is part of our user acquisition strategy. An additionnal 30M will be managed by the DAO, with the same goal (so in total 80M tokens will be managed). This is 20% of the tokens; these tokens cannot be sold, they can only be withdraw to whitelisted addresses belonging to users, developpers, influencers etc.

20% of the revenues is not something that important; some brokers, as example have a marketing budget around 20%, and their user acquisition cost is very high.

3 points deserve to be highlited here :

1. Mind that the company will manage a pool of 50M tokens and the DAO will manage a pool of 30M. These pools will be used to drive user acquisition and will then replace the need of conducting a classical marketing campaign. To drive user acquisition, there will be some ongoing bounty campaign / contest such as : the 10 users who have brought the most of new users through their referral link; these 10 users will share the monthly prize pool; or it could be the 10 developers whose add-on are the most downloaded this month.

Having these contests / ongoing bounty campaigns will incentivize these developers, or these users to commit even more, because they will become stakeholder and receive more revenus per token if the ecosystem keep growing, or just more revenue by growing their token stacks.


2. As the pools have 50M and 30M tokens (12% and  7% of all the tokens) they will also receive, like any token holders, a part of the revenue. In that case it will be 12% and 7% of the 20%. These revenues can be used for classical marketing campaign or can be used to buy back tokens from exchanges, to refill the pools, until the moment these pools will definitely be empty. So as you see there is some virtue circle.


3. An exchange does not need millions per month to be run efficiently. Even by giving away 40 or 60% of an exchange revenue, you might end up to be still profitable. This is why people are very interested to buy tokens distributing the exchanges revenues. Exchanges are the most valuable piece in this ecosystem. They can generate a lot of revenue.
