Personally, I think that we should not take seriously all the statements of various analysts and experts, and make decisions based on them, since it is impossible to determine the price of any coin in the long term. Therefore, you should take responsibility for yourself and make your own decisions.

Re: Crypto as a payment method for goods: what to expect in 2019
by
owlman
on 02/02/2019, 09:19:56 UTC
Hi guys.
I'm wondering what's your opinion on the goods purchased in currencies other than euros or dollars, say crypto. I'm aware it's being used as a regular currency in various fields now. There are, for instance, lots of successfully run marketplaces based on crypto out there.
Over the past year, the market capitalization within crypto soared to the Moon.  Unfortunately, it's been a bear trend for a while now and no one can say for sure when it's gone. However, I am still thinking there's some light at the end of the tunnel - new market, pretty few competitors, great potential. So it's high time to become an active user.

So that begs the questions: Your thoughts on crypto as a payment method? Any progress achieved in the upcoming year?
You are right, crypto-currencies are progressing, they are gaining more recognition and the number of establishments and trading places that accept crypto-currencies as a means of payment is increasing, but you need to recognize the fact that most people are not ready to use digital currencies, just as a means of payment , and see only as a way to profit.

Re: The implications of the market condition

Considering the market surge of 2017 and the bearish market of 2018.
What is the implications of the 2018 bearish market on the Cryptocurrency market ?
Did the situation increased or decreased adoption rate of Cryptocurrency?
Everything goes on as usual! The market of crypto-currencies is not so attractive at the moment for investors, but we must take into account the fact that most of the projects continue to develop, so we can say that the industry of crypto-currencies is also developing and is gaining more and more recognition.

Re: How do you feel about market regulation?
by
owlman
on 01/02/2019, 20:13:38 UTC
If we talked about regulation, there would be some consequences of this. The first question would be who is going to be authority? This authority makes decisions from which perspective. How much might this authority harm decentarlization?
You are right. There are too many questions regarding the regulation of the cryptocurrency market and no one knows when they will be decided and who will answer all the questions. But I believe that in the possible regulation of the market, there are advantages and disadvantages, so I adhere to a neutral point of view and prefer to follow the further development of events.

Will cryptocurrencies continue their downfall or enter a trend reversal? What is your chart study and identified key indicator.
As we see at the moment, the market is still in a downtrend, and it is difficult to predict how events will develop further. As practice shows, no graphs and various types of analysis can help in determining the market situation in the long run.

It's no secret that there are a lot of scammers on the cryptocurrency market and they all want to get money by deception, but you should not exaggerate and say that only a cardano is a genuine project among all existing ones, because there are other projects that in spite of the negative market situation, continue to develop and improve technologies.

Re: Why are you selling your altcoins so soon?
by
owlman
on 30/01/2019, 20:06:56 UTC
I here and see that a lot of people are selling their altcoins for this reason or for that reason. In some cases I here that people are even spending their altcoins to buy Bitcoin. Now that one really has me confused. To me it’s way to early to be selling your altcoins. It’s like selling an original painting before it even gains in value or while it is still gaining in value. What smart investor does that unless they are selling out of fear or because they are desperate. For me I am holding all of my coins for now because it is way to early to even think about selling your altcoins; what say you?

Each person has his own reasons for selling his coins, as well as his own strategy, which he pursues in order to make a profit, so it’s not necessary to judge someone because of some actions. Personally, I also prefer to keep my coins , especially considering the current market situation, but there are such coins / projects that can cease to exist and it is better to sell them some time before.

Re: Rewarding bounty hunters with EQUITY SHARES instead of tokens
by

on 30/01/2019, 19:18:27 UTC
Personally, I did not participate in this bounty campaign, but it is not surprising that in these market conditions some projects change the rules at the end of the campaign, because many projects want to reduce payouts, so they have some reasons for this. I hope, in the near future, we will, without any problems, receive our reward, which we earned through our work.

Prices for our coins are not as volatile as they used to be, and the market is in a downtrend, so I also think that it is better to keep our tokens by the time the market recovers. Although I still sold some tokens, because the price was fine with me.

Re: No Regrets in cryptocurrency

Of course, I do not regret joining cryptocurrencies, and I also perceive all my mistakes as acquired experience. I also believe in the future of digital currencies, but to be honest, I would like to have some certainties about the regulation or non-regulation of the entire market and the market of ICO projects.

Re: Expect the Unfavorable Bounty Hunting Situation in the Present day and Beyond!?

It's no secret that now there are big problems both in the market of crypto-currencies in general and with bounty campaigns, but what do you think we can do to improve the situation and get a decent reward for participating in bounty campaigns? I am ready to go through KYC and follow all the rules, but in return I receive almost nothing ...

I doubt that these forecasts for a new bullish trend in the gold market may positively affect the cryptocurrency market. At the moment, I am interested in when a new trend begins in the market of crypto-currencies, but none of the experts can predict this.

It seems to me that the SEC decision, regarding ETF-Bitcoin, is attached too much importance and nobody knows how a positive decision would affect the cryptocurrency market. I hope that the recovery of the market does not depend only on the SEC and its decisions.

It's amazing that you have been following the development of cryptocurrencies and bitcoins for so long, follow all the charts, have seen all the ups and downs in this industry and still seek advice from other users ... No one can force you to invest in cryptocurrencies, but I think Now is the right time to invest.

Re: you are being manipulated by the government
by

As we see at the moment, some countries / government really do not want to accept Bitcoin and the rest of the cryptocurrencies, as a means of payment, and also try in every way to manipulate the market. This proves the fact that the SEC is constantly postponing the decision about Bitcoin -ETF, although the decision could positively influence the market recovery.

Personally, I think that first of all we need to wait for several important events that can revive the market, such as the launch of the bakkt platform, hardfork Ethereum, the resumption of the SEC. I hope that after February we will be able to see an improvement in the situation on the cryptocurrency market.

Re: Cryptocurrency has come to stay
by

It is true that more and more attacks on the crypto world are increasingly popular crypto in the eyes of the world community, after they know the functions and uses of cryptocurrency, surely they will try to buy and use it in daily life.

Well, how do they use it for everyday life? You're clearly imagining things. Crypto currency even for storing funds can not be used normally, people do not have trust and stability is not present in the crypto currency
I agree that the cryptocurrency market is unstable, specific and therefore not everyone is ready to invest in these digital currencies. But it seems to me that you have missed something, since in fact you can already use cryptocurrencies as a means of payment in many countries of the world and the number of such institutions is increasing.

Re: It is hard to detect scammed bounty campaign..
by

on 26/01/2019, 21:58:29 UTC
Fraud, in any form of its manifestation, is very bad, and we are very offended when, at the end of the campaign, it turns out that the project that we advertised was swindlers and we will not get anything. But there is only one fact that pleases us that we have not invested our money. In any case, changes are now taking place in the market for ICO projects and, accordingly, in conducting bounty campaigns, and it is unclear how events will develop further.

I also think that in order to become successful in the market of cryptocurrencies, you need to be psychologically stable, not panic and be ready for all variants of events, because this market can be manipulated and our consciousness can be influenced by various news.
