Re: Trading, ICO, Lending, Bounty. Which one should I do ?

Amongst the different mentioned options, you should choose the one which fits your plan the best.
If you want to play conservatively, go for the lending options (these days many major exchanges do so "safely", and the reward is fixed. If you want to risk more, trade. If you want to gamble then go for the ICO.
Bounties? A tiny extra!

Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling?

A question.
Do you think that professional poker players can be categorised as gamblers when they put some actual math into the game? Of course the gambling component is there when you need to play a flip, but there is more edge against the house (which in this case is the playing field).
Your thoughts please.

Re: Andy Ruiz vs Anthony Joshua II
by

If you bet on AJ to win the fight whether through decision or KO, you will only get 1.44 odds, I think that's too cheap.

Maybe you'll consider betting on AJ to win via decision @ 5.40 because he might not be too confident in this fight trying to knock out the champ, maybe he will just use his length and consistently score throughout the 12 rounds.

AJ by decision @5.60, that's my bet. I'm also thinking that Joshua will just use his jab in this fight to win, which in the first fight is effective and might soften Ruiz in the later rounds. This might be a boring fight as i see Joshua will not slug it out with Ruiz. Jab, jab and clinch if Ruiz would go inside, that would be the game plan of AJ.

Where did you find these odds? On Bet365 is @ 4.33. Or cryptobookies?
Nevertheless, it might not go so far as AJ has not better information on the opponent style.

Re: Trade Bitcoin - AVOID "Get Rich Quick" Shit Coin Pump and Dump
by
p3ppymon
on 03/12/2019, 15:58:18 UTC
That's the thing. The only people gaining are the people that initiated the pumps. They're smart. As soon the shit coin goes up buy 10-20% they sell to people buying after the 10-20% up. Anyone who buys after that is stuck with those coins because no one is going to buy a shit coin that is up that much. They end up selling at a huge lost (sometimes 70-90% lost). It's a scam that works well for people who organize pump and dumps.

The FOMOs are trying to get rich overnight, but ended up loosing everything. I wish people get it that only trading / investing in Bitcoin will bring you profit. Only BTC's price fluctuate to the point where you can make nice profit trading with even $500. It's going to take a while to build up the profit, but it's almost always a sure thing.

I am not entirely sure about this. But I am sure that you can be much more profitable with trading one shitcoin and gain 200% rather than keep ping-ponging a more stable coin until you reach the aforementioned threshold.
IMHO, risking to get more profit is more lucrative than a stagnant trading strategy.

You should give your bot to reputable members of the forum for testing, who can review it and judge whether your claims are correct.
Also, how much is one licence? What is the programming language? Please share more details.

Re: Scam Projects and Bounty . Way forward??
by

Even if you are thorough with your researches, you might bump into a scam project and waste your time with it without getting any reward.
If you want to be slightly safer, just choose a bounty which pays BTC or any exchangeable currency instead of waiting for a payment in their native currency, which would be a bag of trash!

Re: Just a thought about bounties and bounty managers
by

I used to participate in many different bounty campaigns a few years ago with a few decent payouts. Nevertheless, only one in 20 was a good payout while the others revealed unsatisfactory (too much time - little reward).
These days, it seems that the rate has further declined and I am not sure bounty hunters are still able to make a decent profit / hour.

Managers just do their job.

How are people supposed to excited with these bit of information surrounding these press releases?

There is no real substance to any of these "news" releases, just more hot air just as has been the case for the previous 2 years since Pundi X was launched.

Are all empty content?

It seems so. Otherwise, a tiny price increase should appear along with the news.
Too much meat on the grill will never cook properly. This is Pundi. Till now. All broken promises!

does it mean that instead of 2% we will receive 11%? can someone explain?

The team wants to accelerate the distribution of the NXPS to holders in one go. Instead of paying monthly until the end of 2020, they will do it all in one go. You will receive 11% of your holdings.

I can see that a limited amount of token has been inappropriately taken from cryptopia. Couple of days and he owners can make he money back.
If they delay customers to access funds and stuff like that, that is going to make cryptopia position worse as trust will sink in less than a blink of an eye.
Give people the possibility to cash out and then solve your issues.

Re: WAVES - Complete Blockchain ecosystem for a token economy

some clarification for airdrop (which is not the end of the world !):

https://twitter.com/sasha35625/status/1082354044428001280

however still how much VST per WCT and WAVES is not known.

note that VST is also the ticker of vestarin on coingecko.com

There are so many tokens sharing the same tickers so it's not a confusing thing but people have to care about this when they want to make transfer. That is clear WAVES and WCT will be treated equally and will get rewarded with same conversion rate 1:1

No,
WCT will receive only 10%, rest for WAVES.

But that's only because there are 100 mil Waves and only 10 mil WCT. That's where the 10% comes from. In the end you will get the same amount of VST tokens per 1 Waves and per 1 WCT.

yes you are right, in the end we will get the same amount. but when viewed from the price it is more profitable to hold WCT, because the price is lower.

WCT is a quarter of the WAVES price, when the supply is 1/10. Hence, how can it be more profitable? Please clarify. Maybe my math is wrong...  Huh

Sobit exchange is quite bad. Seems like a one-man one-show. Support is inefficient. They do not pay dividends to all the token holders. Telegram is dead, no more admin moderating and supporting. Withdrawals are manually executed (if they actually are).
Stay away.

I don't really understand why this coin does not move at all. I've been in it for quite some time now, and regardless of the news, the value does not seem to be able to break 26 sats. Why?

The beginning of the month is the dump time as holders receive their monthly share. Someone does not care and sell the free token for other pairs. That is the main reason.
The second is the low price / huge spread in percentage by trading npxs against btc. Not many traders would take risks as every satoshi is quite a difference.

Will Waves Go Under 30k sat?

Max it got was 300k Satoshis in June/July 2017, then $17 in December, from there it was down until it was almost $1.5, now we just hope it holds the 30k sat of the ICO, which if we had kept our Bitcoins we would have had BCH, BTG, BCD, BTCP... from the forks.

Don’t cry now as you know the past. You decided to invest and no one forced to do so. Regretting the past is the worse thing you can do. But you can still believe, and you should looking at the fast development and innovations, products and services that Waves offers. Be patient is the key!

Hello guys!i have some question.
Everyday i recived 0.00000012 btc from 3P7awoHBQvJSgRqYdmkoTBdrhiQtAeAZHf2 adress in to my waves client.
This is any airdrop or what is this?i dont did leasing.
thanks for any info.

That should be the reward for holding OnePercent tokens. Everyday you will receive a value of bitcoin as 1% of the price of such token, divided by the number of tokens overall, and multiplied by the number of coins you hold.
