Meme coins are pure gamble most cases. And you see their 'value' only after huge price spike into up direction (so then its too late).
There is only one case I would call meme coin useful - if it would has a usage for example incentive by decentralized game (like play to earn). Meme game, meme native token, then it might work.

Investing in new project (aka early adopting) is my strategy since 2013. I almost never hold BTC, just alts - but I diversify myself very hardly by doing that.

Its possible to avoid scams if you are buying only very strong projects that have history, big teams, already billions $ of marketcap etc.
Its impossible to avoid it if you wanna be an early adopter and searching lowcaps to invest. Thats way diversification is so important.

Monetizing items in game, and play time, doing tasks/quests its a inevitable future for all gaming industry. Adoption has started.
