Re: NO PROOF MtGox is insolvent - Document possibly a Hoax? - STOP THE FUD!

The offices are empty and the CEO is no where to be found.

That's not really how a solvent company acts.

1) To others: I don't like leaving money in books and I put money in and take money out often and bitbook is always fast and accurate. I've had zero problems with them and can definitely recommend.

2) To bitbook: Thanks for putting up olympic men's hockey lines but I would like to see more olympic lines! Curling and women's hockey for starters. You lost my action today on women's hockey (although I won 1BTC betting on Canada, so I guess you dodged a small bullet there)

Looks like the broken transactions have been increasing through the day and their statement that they have "returned all the BTC to accounts" has turned out to be a lie.

Here is where the claim to have returned all coins: https://support.mtgox.com/entries/26128504-Update-Statement-Regarding-BTC-Withdrawal-Delays

Here is the list of broken transactions: http://skanner.net/MtGox/mtgox_tx.php

My 10BTC have been stuck for 3 days (one of the over 3000 transactions).

So their support posted today that they were cancelling the failed withdraws and putting money back into accounts. But they totally lied! They might have cancelled SOME but I still see almost 2000 failed withdraws including my own for 10BTC

It's way too late (and maybe someone has already posted this) but for next year, you should add superbowl prob bets. At least the major ones like MVP, first TD, etc

Re: Mt Gox Withdraw to USD

I believe it has been a very long time (summer) since gox was able to send out US withdraws. I have heard that some people have been able to get USB out of gox by requesting a manual wire, but that costs 5%. You're probably better off sending the coins over to Coinbase and doing a withdraw there.

If you're patient, do what I do: Sell on gox, and hold until gox and coinbase's prices are similar and then cash out. I've done this a few times and was able to maximize my money that way.

1) Let me say that dogepound is an honest site, thanks for the fun game.

2) You should put a link for the Gaia game on the doge site and vice versa.

I don't know why everyone keeps saying it destroys credibility. It's only based on a joke, and it's otherwise very real and people are using it for real transactions. I hired a photoshop expert with dogecoins and I've sold a bunch of video games with dogecoins. Seems pretty legit to me

I like it Smiley What happens if the doge times out with your Dogecoin? Do you get it back with interest?

When the doge times out you lose. It's a ponzi scheme, so only the last person loses - but they do get 20% back as a consolidation. I've made over 200k doge on the site so far, although I've been left holding the bag a few times. But it's certainly fun!
