Never again I invest in xrb I already traded everything for dogecoin

I do not believe in this project anymore Angry Angry Angry

XRB is in its peak the past couple of weeks why lose interest on the project? It's just been months since the project was revived and the growth has been overwhelming. And why now? Not a month ago where xrb's value was dropping?

Relax, this is probably some claimer angry after the faucet stopped. I'm sure once the faucet is closed for good and distribution finished the coin will flourish.

I installed the rai wallet on my laptop and set one password which I cannot remember. I locked the wallet and need to unlock it but cannot do so without the password. Can some kind hearted person please explain how to reset the rai wallet password? I tried looking in the raiblockscommunity website but could not find anything there too.
There is no way to reset desktop wallet password of course

T_T thanks a lot for the information bro,, hmm so the only way i can do now is reinstalling my OS so i can start over using raiwallet desktop right? thanks

I think the easiest way is to remove 'C:\Users\[your user name]\AppData\Local\RaiBlocks' No need to reinstall whole os or fiddle with command line if you just want to get a new wallet. Just remember that unless you have backed up your seed your old accounts will be lost forever. (and you'll need to sync again, but that shouldn't take too long now)

I installed Raiblocks to test the software. First, the client remembers me a little bit like the one of Qora.
Second, what is my public address. The main front of the client shows me one that starts with xrb_ and below one that starts with m1h. Is this public and private key? Third, how can I backup my wallet so that I can restore it when the software is deinstalled and the keys are unaccidently lost?

It is not that easy to buy Raiblocks yet. Only on BitGrail and Mercatox right now. Not pretty famous exchanges. Is it planned to list it on one of the major exchanges?

I think it's a single address but you might be confused because wallet splits it in two lines. And there is an option to backup wallet seed in Advanced > Accounts

for anyone that's been looking for a reliable online wallet try myraiwallet.com - has been reliably solid for me for over 2 months with no need for downloading the whole chain.

clearly this is a scam, but there should be someone moderating this thread to ban this type of attempts

RaiBlocks Newsletter 23rd July 2017

Introduction
This will hopefully be a short newsletter published every 2 weeks with info and updates in regards to RaiBlocks including core development and third party development. If you would like to get involved please get in contact (see details at the end).

Core Wallet/Node Development
In last 14 days there have been 17 commits including some GUI changes as well as changes to the core to improve optimisation and improve syncing nodes. This is good progress towards a new release. - https://github.com/clemahieu/raiblocks/commits/master
@vraken has joined the core dev team - he plans to start with some small bugs and go from there.

Beginning of 3rd party games
The last few weeks there has been lots of development of 3rd party games - RaiBlocks is ideal for games due to its near instant transactions and no fee. If you would like to develop or integrate RaiBlocks into a project you can either run your own node and use the RPC (good for a big project) or you could use the web api for the YapRai wallet - for more information check out #development and #yaprai_api on the slack channel.
Check out these games - remember that some involve gambling so stay safe!

XRB Jump and Grab - http://stats.yapraiwallet.space/games/arcade/start.html
RaiGames.io (Social RaiBlocks Gaming) - https://raigames.io/
BlockFevr (Provably fair dice game for RaiBlocks) - https://blockfevr.com/game/dice/XRB

Interview of RaiBlocks User
Helmi M (@MatheLZard on telegram)

1)How did you find out about RaiBlocks?
I know RaiBlocks since February, i found RaiBlocks when i read it in bitcointalk forums.

2)How have you used RaiBlocks?
I think RaiBlocks have a good cryptocurrency coin because having a very active community. Therefore I made RaiBlocks my investment cryptocurrency.

3)Where is RaiBlocks going to be in 6 months?
RaiBlocks will be in the big marketplace, because gradually many Investors have been eyeing RaiBlocks as a place to invest very well in the field of cryptocurrency.

Technical Analysis of a Feature
What Does ‘Not Pocketed’ Mean?
This means that the destination wallet hasn’t yet received the send block - this is nearly always as this wallet is not completely synced up. A XRB transaction consists of 2 blocks, a send block from the sending wallet and a receive block from the receiving wallet - both need to be fully synced for the transaction to go ahead.
Therefore if you have sent XRB and it isn’t pocketed then you just need to wait for the destination wallet to sync, do not worry - your XRB aren’t lost.

Dev Profile
SergSW (@SergSW on telegram or @sergsw on slack)

1)What Projects Do You Work On?
RaiWalletBot, RaiBlocksJS, RPC extensions

2)What makes RaiBlocks easier to use then other crypto?
Note: ideal future situation. People shouldn’t care about high commissions and 1 hour confirmation delays, RaiBlocks usage will be as easy as cash. If you buy 10 USD pizza, 1.5 USD commission is too expensive. You can remember some good crypto with relatively low commissions like DogeCoin, but imagine Doge with 100 TX/second & commission will be expensive again. Without commissions RaiBlocks can be used by anyone.

3)Whats the main challenge for RaiWalletBot?
For RaiWalletBot is was "How to handle several thousands incoming transaction in 1-2 hours?" :joy: (By using OpenCL and a dedicated GPU instead of CPU work).

4)Where is RaiBlocks going to be in 6 months?
In the middle of distribution  Actually users will acknowledge XRB usefulness with more services to come

Feedback is welcome regarding the newsletter, you can contact me @jayycox on slack or telegram. It would be great if people wanted to review some of the services e.g. the new games.

Great to see initiatives like that. We definitely need more people genuinely interested in the coin itself not only the faucet part!

Stop this faucet bs, no one cares. I only hope this will make devs reconsider their distribution strategy and finally stop this poorfag heaven.

I told few pages back that I think, the best distribution will be Proof of Game.
Play a game is more fun and a better protection for bots.
The captcha distribution is only good for bots, no human can claim 3600 captchas in 1h.

I really like your idea of "Proof of Game". I like mmorpg so I think it could be a mmorpg.

But as far as I know, bots also exist in mmorpg. They farm in-game money or valuable items, and then sell those stuff for real-life money. They are headaches to mmorpg developers, too, because they affect in-game economy.

I think it is better to use minigames for this because its much faster to code.
My favorite game for this is a game like flappy bird, you can earn 1 claim for 1 point.
Another idea is airhockey against a CPU.
Theres a lot of minigames you can use for Proof of game.
The dev could change the game from time to time, to protect the system from bots.

The problem with games this simple is that it's possible to make ai that plays them with superhuman skill (just google DeepMind atari). I'm afraid that unless devs want to make new game every few days it's a solution worse than the current captcha pow.

I managed to workaround my synchronization issues (on windows) by keeping raiblocks wallet data on ramdisk. When fully synced it only takes about 1.6gb so it should fit easily in ram on any computer. I think it would be nice if this functionality was built in.

I think that instead of giving coins to an army of beggars, devs should do an ico or at least allow coins to be pow/pos mined. Would help the project a lot.

I think no one is giving coin to beggars. Those who are collected XRB , are doing it in a hard way by claiming through the faucet and i tell you it is not an easy work to claim the coin through faucets. This is a unique feature of this great coin.

+1 on that!

This whole 'hard work needed to claim coins' argument is flawed because there are solutions that solve those captchas automatically. I don't want the devs to waste their time on this stupid faucet but to concentrate on making raiblocks better because I'm convinced it's going to be a great coin. No need to stick to this particular distribution system if it doesn't work. An ico would additionally give them a nice financial boost and allow them to hire more devs/do some marketing.

do you guys have any whitepaper describing your vision in more detail? it all sounds cool but it would be good to see if what you promise will actually work
