Re: How do you use crypto?
by
papagravel
on 03/09/2019, 21:21:31 UTC
Crypto has been around for over a decade at this point. The secure digital currency has many perks, but it seems that it is still not being utilized to its fullest potential.

Some purchase crypto for long term investment, while others have become daily traders. Both of these methods are uses for the digital currency, but they are not the sole purpose.

Many cryptocurrencies have been developed to solve a problem. For instance, Bitcoin solved the double-spending problem, while Ethereum was created to assists developers build blockchain applications.

Both of these examples would be considered the prime use case of the currency, but it seems that many are only interested in the gain rather than the use.

It is difficult to predict if the true value of blockchain technology will be relevant in the future and expand beyond trading.

What are your thoughts, and how do you use crypto?

I use cryptocurrencies primarily to make money participating in trading and investing. As for me, this is the best use of cryptocurrencies. I also participate in bounty campaigns, where I manage to earn some extra money. The crypto market is good because there are many opportunities for making money and people can do what they like.

Re: Can Ethereum survive below 0.02 BTC per coin?
by
papagravel
on 03/09/2019, 20:30:54 UTC
As we all know, the exchange rate of Ethereum has fallen during the past few months (vs BTC). From around 0.035 BTC per coin six months back, the prices have fallen to 0.0205 BTC as of now. The market share of Ethereum in the cryptocurrency market has fallen from 11.5% to 8.3% during the same period. Other alts have also fallen, but not by this much.

And this has happened despite the boost it received from the IEOs. Can ETH manage a comeback anytime soon? Will the investors stop selling their ETH holdings for BTC, and hold on to the coin?

The longer Ethereum drags in time until the introduction of the new POS consensus mechanism, the longer it will sink in price with respect to Bitcoin. Many investors are gradually losing patience and selling their Ethereum. I mentioned two main factors that affect the decline in the price of Ethereum.

Re: Is bounty campaign profitable in 2019 or no?
by
papagravel
on 01/09/2019, 21:33:36 UTC
The market is going down and this is also hard for bounty hunters. Good projects and the quality is less and the bonus is becoming less and less. There are projects that cause us to be scammed and not receive any money at all. The market is very wide, so look carefully as there are many things to make money.

I noticed that after the decline in the development of new projects and, accordingly, the decline in bounty campaigns, good bounty campaigns are now beginning to appear. I have been choosing a campaign for a long time, but rarely am I mistaken in choosing, so now I am confident in my project, I spend a lot of energy on its promotion, and I think that I will make good money.

Re: Suggest me some Good Altcoin for longterm Hold
by

Now it is best to bet on exchange tokens on which IEO carry out large projects. If IEOs will continue to succeed, then exchange tokens will continue to grow in price, so it makes sense to store them for a long time. However, I would recommend checking their price regularly, because it is a crypto market and here a price change can happen at any time.

Re: hodl no shitcoins for future altcoin season
by

on 29/08/2019, 10:45:35 UTC
2017 is in the past now and dont expect shitcoins will bring you profit like it did in the past, you have to review your portfolio and make sure that every tokens and coins you holding are worth been hodl.
Try not to pick coins because they are mineable or they have actualized POS,coins without genuine use case will bite the dust additional times and lose esteem, this is 2019 and crypto world is reshaping, make the smart move

Shitcoins  collectors risk permanently staying with these coins in their wallet. Why buy something that now has no price. It doesn’t matter if you buy ten thousand shitcoins or 1 coin for your 100 dollars, it is important how the price for them changes further. Shitcoins, as a rule, will continue to fall in price and you will gradually have 70-50-20 instead of $ 100, and good coins will grow in price and you can get $ 200 or more after a while.

Re: Good website or source for price predictions
by

on 29/08/2019, 10:25:35 UTC
Hello, could you kindly recommend me some good website where I can get real research-based price predictions for cryptocurrencies?
An example of what I am looking for: https://twitter.com/change5168/status/1124538188507205632

A very good site should be in your head. Believe me, listening to other people's forecasts is very wrong, you can guess the price several times and earn a couple of hundred bucks on it, and then you will be deceived and you will lose thousands of dollars. This is how all these forecasting sites that you can’t believe can work.

Re: Bounty hunting is past it's glory days
by
papagravel
on 29/08/2019, 09:48:56 UTC
My experience so far with bounty this year have been bad and it is not as profitable as it used to be. Mainly bounty hunters don't really get good projects that will pay and those that pay just pay a penny which is not worth the time and energy put into the work.
My question is, is it possible to still make a living from bounty or we should just move on from it?

This year's bounty campaigns bring very little profit, even less than last year. Although many people thought it could be worse. However, I noted that bounty hunters are not created, but continue to work, in many cases for free, in the hope that they will be lucky with the next project.

Re: How often do you check crypto prices?

My bro just said I'm getting addicted to my Portfolio app, and I think he is right. I usually check crypto prices at least three times a day. I know it's not very healthy checking crypto prices these days, but bitcoin specifically has been doing well.

......

What about you, how often do you check crypto prices?

Tell your brother that for a long time there are many different bots that collect the necessary data from various exchanges and can transmit this data directly to him in telegram. These bots certainly cost money, but they save a lot of time that you can spend on other purposes.

Re: SCAM ICOs, what we can do?
by

on 28/08/2019, 15:19:55 UTC
Hi, recently so many past-ICOs turned into a scam or a deadcoin.
Is there anything what we can do to punish them? More than 2 years ICOs are scamming us and still people are investing, is this really a world what we want to create?

I saw several cases where on the forum victims of scammers began to gather unfortunate comrades to file a class action lawsuit against scammers. I am not a lawyer, so I don’t know the probability of winning. But I think that scammers specifically register their projects in offshore, so they want to avoid responsibility.

Re: Investing in multiple altcoins
by

on 28/08/2019, 14:16:01 UTC
Ok guys so I have 500 CAD left to invest in altcoins, I decided to invest 3000 CAD in bitcoin and leave it like that. So for that 500 CAD (377 USD), please tell me if this makes sense. (I want to own a broad portfolio of multiple coins that have good odds for the future). All amounts are in USD for a total of $370. I'm open to suggestions.

//snip//

I recommend that you invest part of your coins in the BNB and store them on the Binance exchange so that you have the opportunity to participate in the IEO, which are held there a couple of times a month. So you can have, albeit not a big but stable income. You can also increase your capital with a gradual increase in the price of BNB.

Re: We need regulation pretty bad
by
papagravel
on 28/08/2019, 13:06:34 UTC
Apart from scam artists in crypto space we have too many unprofessional developers that falsely act like they are really good in a particular field and try to build blockchain based projects but failed in the end,if there is really any way to make blockchain available to only professionals that are qualified it would have been a different story for crypto, even scammers wont have a chance, this is why i think we need REGULATIONS pretty bad.

Regulation in the crypto market for conducting ICO and IEO would be good, it would help reduce the number of cheaters among new projects. The only problem is that there is no general opinion on the crypto market regarding regulation, and there is no definition in choosing an organization that could regulate and catch scammers.

Re: Low market makes ICOs cheaper
by
papagravel
on 27/08/2019, 21:12:28 UTC
It is better that during ICO the prices of the main coins remain unchanged. This is primarily due to the fact that the developers, preparing their ICO, calculate the amount of dollars necessary for fees, which they need to implement their project. And if at the beginning of ICO 1000 Ethereum can cost $ 200,000, then in the end, due to the price drop, it can be $ 100,000. And this is half as much.

Re: Who Would Really Buy Facebook Coin?
by
papagravel
on 27/08/2019, 19:49:12 UTC
Personally, I think that Facebook is doing the right thing since it issues its coin. And for facebook this will give great credibility and soon this coin will cost a lot of money. So the Facebook team made the right decision for the development of their social network. And Facebook will take a leading role in the cryptocurrency market.

I do not like that Facebook does this only in the wake of the popularity of cryptocurrencies. They blocked any ads related to cryptocurrencies for a long time, I know this because I previously participated in Facebook bounty campaigns. And now Facebook has radically changed its decision regarding cryptocurrencies. I can not believe it.

During my time on the crypto market, I saw John in dozens of projects and everywhere he saw something special. I got the impression that he was paid for advertising and he was ready to believe in any project for money. That is why I do not trust the words of McCaffee like many other participants in the crypto market.

Re: 6 Ways to earn Tokens without investing or mining
by

on 19/08/2019, 21:28:00 UTC
The best way to earn tokens of the project you are interested in is to take part in its bounty campaign, thereby you will earn and help the project to collect more investments.
If you have money, then you can invest it in the purchase of tokens - this is the easiest way.

Re: What is IEO?
by
papagravel
on 01/08/2019, 12:18:31 UTC
I am new to crypto world, can someone knowledge me what is IEO?

IEO is the primary offer of coins on exchanges. Previously, new projects themselves organized the sale of their coins and it was called ICO. Now new projects enter into a partnership with the exchanges, share with them a part of their profits, but for this they receive support from the exchange in carrying out sales, as well as the start of trading in coins on the same exchange.

Re: Do crypto trading bots really generate profits?
by

on 30/07/2019, 19:42:49 UTC
I do not trust bots, because I cannot know what is contained in the program code and whether the bot can steal your money or not. I'd rather trade myself than expose myself to such risks.

If you write and configure such a program yourself, then it is quite possible that it will be able to bring you a profit.

Naturally, if you want to change your tokens for cash, then you must sell them for Ethereum or Bitcoin. And the thing is, the more these two coins are worth, the more you can get cash.

Despite the fact that my coins have fallen very much in price, I am sure that I will win back and earn money in the future.
For all those who are just as unlucky as me, I advise you not to lose hope and wait. You will succeed!
